The wait here is obsurd. Expect to wait 30 minutes just to run in and pick up glasses that are ready. An hour or more if you come in with prescription to buy new glasses. Crazy. They need to take the "Express" out of their name. read more

Even though it's been nearly a year since I got my glasses Eyemart Express Amarillo still exceeds my expectations of high quality products and service. In the last year I had a bad fall face first in some gravel. My lenses were terribly scratched. Eyemart Express ordered my new lenses with no problems. I was able to wear my second pair while I waited. The new lenses arrived quickly and they were perfect. Just last week one of the nose pieces broke off. I had selected Ray Ban glasses and they were not cheap. I went to the store where they verified that I was within the year warranty and they quickly replaced my frames. I don't think I was there more than fifteen minutes. I was so wrong about this store when I first posted a review. They have stood behind their products and their service is exemplary. read more

They currently have a very racist employee who told a Hispanic woman to "speak English" when they WERE speaking English. The employee also was denying that the customer was covered by her insurance with any explanation when the customer was specifically told by her insurance that eyemart express IS covered by her insurance. she even had it in writing and the employee became very irate, raising her voice and telling the customer to " speak English." Broke my glasses this morning. I walked in without an appointment and was seen for the eye exam very quickly. When I went to choose my glasses, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They said my glasses would be ready in about an hour. 26 minutes later I got a text that they were ready. Excellent service!! read more

Amber was quick to help and ensured my frames were in the same condition in which I purchased them, she cleaned them really nicely and had them looking brand new! I want to extremely praise and thank Eyemart Express for helping me out in a difficult situation. I'm from Los Angeles and had just flown to Texas. Minutes before leaving home, my glasses broke. I had an old pair with a damaged arm that stuck out to the side and could not be repaired. It was good enough to wear so that I wasn't blind, but barely stayed on. Once I arrived in Amarillo, it was a priority to get new glasses immediately. My phone told me there was a Lenscrafters in the mall. I don't prefer Lenscrafters because of their prices, but I would bite the bullet and order from them because they make glasses right away. But when I got to the mall, I found out the Lenscrafters moved out years ago. The mall's current optometry store had a two-week lead time, but they told me about Eyemart Express. I arrived there 10 minutes before closing time. When they heard my situation (and saw the condition of my substitute glasses), they stayed open just for me. I picked out 2 pairs of frames because they had a sale. The second pair was only $10. Then there was another issue. I carry health information in my wallet, including my glasses prescription, but I had forgotten about a discrepancy on the prescription. Eyemart Express called both the optometrist and the glasses manufacturer in California to make sure of the correct prescription. All this caused them to stay open half an hour past their normal closing time. By noon the next day, I picked up two new pairs of glasses. I cannot praise Eyemart Express enough for the level of service they gave me, and at a stunningly low price. My only regret is that they have no location in L.A. where I can go in the future, because they gave me some of the best service I've gotten in my life, for glasses or any other reason. read more

I recently had issues with one of the Managers name Marshal and the GM Mikael called said she would put my glasses in the mail on Monday October the 23 I should have received them on 10-25-2023 so I called the store and Guess what the never were mailed! Now that customer service. They lied to me so if I didn't need them I would never went there. Rebecca tried to fix the issue however can believe her either, Yes I am a Karen about my glasses and I well not go back to this store. What a way to run a business. Just piece of advice I wouldn't use them. They don't care all they are concerned about is that dollar bill. Now I have to wait another 7 days for them to resend funds back to insurance. My life is on hold as I can't see without my glasses the ones I purchased last year the lens keep falling out until I lost one. I am a senior citizen I would like to ask how would you feel if you or parents were treated bad. read more

Great experience to have my eyeglasses repaired. I lost a screw and they quickly repaired my glasses and got me on my way.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I sat in this place for over an hour no one ever acknowledged me until finally they move me to another table only to leave me there another 30 minutes while they were assisting other people. Disgusting behavior from The man with the arm tattoos following one of the female staff around trying to fondle her. I had gotten glasses there last year but needed to replace my sunglasses that were stolen. The sales rep who helped me was Daric. He was amazing. Very professional and helpful. This is the worst place in town! Staff are not just rude, they actually laugh at customers and talk about them while they're right there. When we were there, they looked to be all 20-somethings, even the "manager." None of these people were attractive themselves, but made fun of how others looked. Do they not realize that customers are the only reason they have jobs? And that their ONLY job is customer service? We were so disgusted that we are going to file a formal complaint. read more

Good product, people and great value. Finding all three of these is a challenge but they deliver.

I purchased glasses for my wife, son and I from Eyemart Express in March of 2017 and paid for the warranty for all three which i was told covered loss and damage. Recently I had an accident at a lake where those glasses were knocked off and now fish are using them at the bottom. After speaking with a manager because of a little miscommunication about the warranty, I am receiving new glasses within the hour. Thank you for the customer service and listening to your customer and not just brushing them off. After this I will definitely continue to get my glasses from Eyemart Express. read more

I went to price glasses since I hated the frames I have. Tammy waited on me and was super professional and extremely courteous and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about what I needed and was looking for. I saved over 200 dollars and that was without insurance. I will definitely go back for all my eye wear needs. I have used Eyemart Express many times previously and had been happy. However my last visit was not a good experience. It took FOUR attempts to get my progressive lenses put into the frames correctly. The staff was quite pleasant, but having to go back over and over again only to discover once again the lenses were not correct was maddening since I live out of town. I called them from the airport, told them what happened, and they said a new pair would be ready when I got back.
