as I'm leaving my review on Uber's account I am reading NUMEROUS posts about info being hacked from Uber's servers and fraudulent charges being charged. With #uber again doing nothing! #deleteuber #deletetheapp Also I wanted to update - Uber has an "Emergency line" which apparently is only meant if you were murdered or raped in an Uber. Yet it clearly states if you were murdered or raped please dial 911. Uber does not consider your passports left in a Uber with said passports being needed for travel in less then 24hours an emergency. God forbid someone leaves their life saving medications in an Uber. You would be dead! The "ER phone number" basically does nothing! #rideatyourownrisk I am writing this in hopes my friends and family will get this to go #viral. It may be a longshot but if I can help anyone else then I figure its worth a try. A week ago a family member flew into LAX and took an #Uber to Redondo. Unloaded all their luggage and as soon as the driver pulled away they realized their backpack was left in the car. They immediately tried to chase the car to no avail. This bag contained a lot of money, a lot of jewelry, and passports. They immediately contacted Uber and went thru the motions put in place by uber. Hours go by and nothing is heard from Uber. Family members went to uber locations to ask for help or if anything was turned in, only to be met with rudeness and a lack of caring. Police was called, everything you can think of we tried. Meanwhile #Uber did nothing!!! Let me repeat that NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON HELPED US!!! No one even called back to let my family know the driver responded and claims he never saw the bag. Hours into a phone call my husband made to #Uber, someone finally said an email was sent and the driver said he never saw it. #Uber couldn't even call to let us know that. #Uber has by far the worse customer service EVER. Let's be real accidents happen traveling can be nerve-racking, there is no good reason not one person at uber couldn't place a phone call to the driver in a timely manner. One phone call and all of this could have been avoided. I don't know if it was the driver that stole everything or the following passengers he had in his car, but what I do know is uber DID NOTHING!!!! At this point, I do have concerns with riding with them knowing they DO NOT LOOK OUT FOR THE CUSTOMERS! #Uber protects uber and the drivers only! Also, I will be damned if they get another penny from me. #boycottuber #ubersucks #takelyft #instead #uberaareabunchoftheives #Uberdrivers #screwing #peopleover while #uber #protectsthem #thieves #nocustomerservice #worsecompanyever read more

Uber the company is impossible to get ahold of. My son accidentally left his cell phone in the Uber vehicle and was unable to get into the app his password is saved on the phone. So, I called the company customer service and was on hold for over an hour with no assistance whatsoever from Uber. It is quite obvious that all they want is money and provide no other service. The only way we got the phone back was to set off the list phone feature on it and finally got a call back to my phone. The driver was kind enough to bring it back for $10. But, there is no back up plan provided by Uber if there's an emergency. So, Uber you suck!!!!! -1000 for your customer service, no live chat and no help on your so called customer service line read more

Uber charged me three times the amount for the exact same ride and then wants to charge me to contact them to file complaint... Uber is trash read more

The WORST ride share platform ever--IMPOSSIBLE to reach and continuous fraud on my credit card. I just don't trust this company and will no longer be using them. read more

UBER is a lie! Every single time I choose a ride and the time frame, UNER TAKES MY MONEY AND THEN ADD 15-20 mins more onto my quoted wait time! EVERY SINGLE TIME! Causing me to be late to work frequently, and then driver cancel out of no where when they're close, adding another 15-25 minute wait! UNER SUCKS and is the WORST! No customer service, so they make sure you can't contact them with real issues, just gouging people at high rates and bad customer service. Ugh! read more

I scheduled a pick up from my home to Ontario airport. I received an email confirmation and also double checked the night before. At the time Uber was to arrive, I received a cancellation and missed my flight. Needless to say, I will never use them again. read more

Uber in the Inland Empire??!! Out of all places! Download the app, enter your debit card info, choose the destination and the car you want picking you up and wait for your ride. I have yet to have such a bad experience. I have heard such stories about Uber and their certain drivers. If I had a new car, I'd probably be an Uber driver myself. Good way to make extra cash as well as meet people. You can choose to split the cost between parties. You can even have the option of riding in a luxury vehicle. Just know it'll cost you a bit extra. Some drivers have refreshments and snacks for you ready. Others are not the chatty catty types and stay silent. If you're planning on imbibing, please take advantage and use Uber. It'll save you a bunch of money that could've gone to paying a DUI! Don't be stupid like that.... Uber it!!! read more

I really wanted to give your service a try. I heard good things about it even if it sounded very strange to have a stranger pick me up. So I downloaded your app. I was very disappointed to have found 2 charges on my card after the first night I downloaded your app. I simply was looking up fare estimates and didn't complete any transaction to my knowledge. Yet in checking my account this morning I found 2 charges: (1) 1.80 & (2) 1.00. Why would I have been charged?! I'm not sure who I can talk to about this but if this is going to happen with your app or service I refuse to be a customer and will tell more of my friends about ridiculous fees that you charge unless someone reverses these charges. read more

Uber app sucks. To sign up u have to give CC info, no skipping that part, even tho I pay cash. Finally found a way to contact someone and talk about crappy communication skills. Me: "Ya I was just wondering if I could get a quote?" Driver: "YOU WANT RIDE?" Me: "well kinda I just wanted to..." Driver: "YOU WANT RIDE OR NO?" Me: "Ya I was just hoping I could get a..." Driver: "OK I GET YOU" *click* :/ He called me back upset because I didn't tell him where to get me. I even spoke Spanish to make it easier and it was the exact same conversation. He took an hour to get here (on a f***'n Wednesday night mind you) and had problems finding my appt, while I was telling him (in his F***'N NATIVE TONGUE MIND YOU!!) where to go. Never again. I'll stick to the generic over priced brands of taxi services thanks. read more

1 dollar charge is a new safety fee. Lol. Nuff said but since I need more words I will add why a safety fee? Isn't insurance and screening of drivers enough to make one feel safe from a part time uber driver who works all day then drives u around at night , working well over 12 hours a day which is a safety issue to begin with. Also wanted to add that uber is not a taxi service yet the driver charges you via the app picks u up drops u off and waits for next fare. YET it's not a taxi service. read more

So far today I'm on a 12 hour travel time clock and counting bc the Uber App won't perform on either of my 2 iPhones. Thought I'd give it a try but after an hour of trying my patience to get a ride through them, I'm on a blue Super Shuttle headed home. When all else fails, go back to what always works. The 1 star rating is to get your attention. Today, Uber, you are a -0 rating. read more

Good stuff, we are from out of town, but hopefully soon to be locals and I needed a ride to the San Bernardino human resources building for testing because my wife is using my truck. I tried taxis, but none were available so I decided to download UBER and try it. Lucky for me, my driver was in the area and literally in 3 minutes I was on my way. Very friendly gentleman by the name of Barry picked me up, he was very proffesional, nice, had a nice and clean vehicle, drove safely, we chatted a bit and he got me to my destination. I'm glad I used UBER and it was a pleasure to meet Barry. read more

Uber has cancelled without rescheduling 80% of my scheduled rides. This has resulted in my missing or having to reschedule appointments. Uber in this area cannot be relied upon. If they are not committed to fulfilling their obligations, they should not accept the ride to begin with. read more

I used to use Uber a lot for my son almost daily, but now I am going to have to go with lyft. Uber charges a waiting fee for you to walk from the sidewalk to the car. This is ridiculous and we need to file a class action lawsuit. I was charged a waiting fee on another occasion because the driver couldn't find the address. Uber has lost its credibility with me. read more

I love ueber. I usually have no issue, but, there is always an exception, especially when the driver cancels the ride, uses an older car or smells funky. I wish we could have ueber in ever city on the planet. That unfortunately not the case. Keep working on it UBER. read more

I was totally pleased with the services that are offered. I guess I'm the only one though, the other reviews are not that great :-(. My daughters and I took a ride from the mall the other day and our car arrived in exactly eight minutes as the app said that it would. It was totally easy and quick to set up an account and I love the fact that the PayPal option was offered. I feel more secure being able to pay with PayPal. The driver was very friendly and the car was clean and he got us there safely. I've heard so much about Uber and I'm totally excited about my next ride this was fun. read more

My identity was stolen and the Uber rides that were charged to my credit card were astronomical. Uber deserves a negative, negative rating as there is no one to call, no corporate customer service, no nothing!!! I want people to realize that if they have a problem with Uber, they're on their own. My visa card company was the only person who seemed to care. I want Uber to hear this!! read more

Uber is unfair your being over change for your ride by them taking the longer route cording to there Uber Maps 'to your Destination.

I am also an UBER driver but honestly the customer service they have offshore is the worst. I hope UBER would think of having customer service like LYFT. read more

Uber keeps disapointing.. I couldn't get to work due to drivers not accepting the request and If they did they would hike up the price to $21 for a local ride.. but this is ubers fault for allowing the drivers to hike up the original price.. it's not what it use to be.. they don't care about customers they just care about $$$ read more

I had a technical issue. So, tried to contact Uber (This was an eye-opening experience). The Uber company now requires the passengers to pay an additional yearly fee to ask questions, or get a technical issue handled (i.e., prepaid customer service). After many tries, I called the 'Driver number', and the 'Emergency Number'...both hung up on me. This may explain why there are so many complaints online about Uber right now. No accountability breeds bad behavior. Uber is just gonna keep getting worse until something really bad happens...then Uber will say 'Hey, they were just a contractor, not our fault!'. Beware. read more

The driver was playing FORTNITE the ENTIRE ride. He dropped me off in Venice, Italy. Like HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN. It's because he was playing Fortnite, he missed my destination! I'm not even going to Coachella this year, the lineup isn't even that good. WHY AM I IN ITALY. Well, Goldenvoice can hit my line anytime they'd like, Mat can provide the entertainment AND the drama. Pull up. Pulled up in the Black Uber X to my girl's place and she said it wasn't modest enough.. anyways we broke up and now I had to move school districts. One star. read more

Hello my name is Belle Rose, I used an Uber yesterday and had quite an awful experience his name is Guoquan he drives a Toyota Corolla, Guoquan sexually harassed me by driving me to the wrong location, then when I started to get nervous, he made kissing noises at me to "calm me down"...that only increased my levels of discomfort and feeling very disrespected. Then for the grand finale he wouldn't stop the car when I asked him to. I had to threaten to jump out of the car, and was then charged about 100 bucks for my ride. I repeat I opened the car door when it was running and had to threaten to jump out to get him to stop the car. It was I would use the words "mildly frightening". I'm not sure why Uber would choose to employ such a person. read more

This is a life saver for people like me who take public transportations or cabs. It's very cheap! From my house to the mall will cost around $40 plus if I take the cab but with uber, it's only $16. I wish I could give them tip through the app coarse I don't carry that much cash. I didn't experience any problem with them charging extras. Minimum fare is $4 which is not bad. That'll take you like 1.5 miles - 2 miles. Yeyyyyy! So happy that my friend recommended this app. read more

I used Uber last week to get a ride to bellflower after my car wouldn't start. I had heard alot of stories and never had a chance or need to use before. App was simple to use. His car wasn't.that great bit overall experience was a very positive one. I'll use both Uber and Lyft again read more

Uber is much better than Lyft in my area (Colton/Loma Linda/Redlands). They get the correct pickup location, and most of the drivers are very courteous and helpful also. My last two experiences with Lyft have been major hassles: wrong pickup locations (drivers not showing up) and Lyft charging me for rides I did not take. I have uninstalled the Lyft app from my smartphone. read more

Ordered food through UberEATS from Macaroni Grill in Redlands .Restaurant charged for food. Uber scheduled delivery. Sitting around for an hour and a half waiting, then the trip was canceled. My Mother ordered UBER 3 times over the course of an hour. They said they were coming, and never did. They went on to charge her for 3 trips! We were supposed to be meeting Redlands since I had driven from Santa Ana. I ended up driving to to Banning to her home. This is now the third time UBER has screwed up...not showing up when ordered, or drivers refusing to drive to the destination. Forget UBER! No one in my family will be ordering UBER again. read more

My friend and I went to Running Springs, CA for 2 days. Because we were unfamiliar with the area, we called UBER to go to Lake Arrowhead Village on 6/24/19. First I requested UBER and it didn't show how long it would be for the driver to arrive so I text the driver and asked? Joey, the UBER driver advised me that he was 35 min away and also advised that I should cancel the trip because there was another driver 5 min away. Before I cancelled, Joey disappeared and another driver, Vincent, popped in my phone. I talked to Vincent several times on the phone and after 50 min of waiting, Vincent apologized and said that he just couldn't find us so I cancelled and we drove ourselves. UBER has charged me for both drivers; $17.99 for Joey, and $20.00 for Vincent and UBER will not provide a customer service phone number! It's so very unfair and frustrating to be charged $38.00 when UBER is totally responsible. Their Customer Serive obviously doesn't ever follow-up when cancellations are made has this has happened to me and many friends in the past. They should want to make things right. . . read more

I YALL READY?? BECAUSE I GOT A STORY FOR YOU! I am EXTREMELY baffled, angry and disappointed in not only this driver in specific but at Uber itself as a company! I am a regular user to both Uber and Lyft and it's disgusting how the company can hire people like this. So to start off I will just simply tell my story(btw this literally happened within the same hour of 30 minutes extra of which I'm reporting this). The Uber driver named "Vernon" who ones a black Dodge Charger canceled after I've been waiting for him to show up to go home from ending my night shift at work. My complaint is when I seen the Uber driver he didnt even pull up close to me and ask my name so I went to his car and checked if it was the right person and the right license plate and it matched so I went ahead and reached to open the door but it was locked so I thought he was just being a safe driver and not letting just anyone in his car since it was night time. So then I knocked on his window and waved at him so he can see that I was the person who's face matched the one shown on the app. And yet again he continues to leave his doors locked and his window rolled up and ignores me. So I keep my composure and continue to knock on the window but harder since I was confused on what was happening. Eventually he CRACKS his window while his doors are still locked and says that he's canceling my ride and that's when I am shocked then get upset since he doesn't give me a reason. So I ask him why and he literally tell me"I'm going to have to cancel your ride because this trip is costing me money" so at this point I'm even more confused and FURIOUS. And I ask why again and he says" this trip is too short and isn't paying me enough so I'm goin a go ahead and cancel this trip and I'm gonna go to Fontana" "WAIT WHAT???? WOOOW" I shout since I literally waiting so long at night for him to get here and he didn't even apologize or make eye contact with me! He then rolled up his window and drove away! Some people around me saw and wondered what happened so I told them and they too were disgusted! Oh and to make matters worst the Uber app crashed and I had to use Lyft. I've never had this problem before and I've always left great reviews, tips and ratings for Uber but this is COMPLETELY UNEXEPTABLE! He doesn't deserve to work around people especially when all I was trying to do is make it home. It's not my fault my ride doesn't meet your financial standards! Smh! Uber don't come at me with a free ride. Just Fire him then I will be satisfied... read more

Our food order was delivered to the wrong house. We got it only because the homeowner went from door to door on our street trying to find who had ordered it. We need food delivered and will go to another app. read more

This actually is for Uber the company, not Uber Corona. Unfortunately I signed my mother up to be a driver, I meant to sign her up to get a ride. After giving them the information, and then seeing what I did, I can't sign her up to GET a ride! There is no way to contact the company without the app - I don't want the app! So, I have no choice than to go with a different company, just not sure who. Very frustrating. read more

First experience was fine, but last night I called a uber for my son's friend and the the guy gets lost, HOW dude you have GPS, I watched him make a wrong turn when he was only 1 minute away so this idiot calls back and say I'm lost so I give him the address and he says I can't find it you have to cancel so we did and started over and the same weirdo shows up and they charged my credit card twice. Awful! Want to make less than minimum wage while also at risk of being fired at the drop of a hat with no due process? Uber is the job for you. Used for the first time today because my hubby and I found ourselves stranded after scheduling my car to get a 3 hour detail. Nonetheless, uber came to mind and we got home safe and fast!
