The taxi drove my without stopping and went off. I called, and the operator said shed send him back again. The se thing happened again, he just drove past me and didn't stop. I called back and the operator said she'd have the driver call me, he never did. After that, I had to call 5 times just to get through and once I did get through and I told them who I Was they just hung up,by his happens three times before I have up. Love to put negative stars. This was by far the worst taxi service (not sure I'd even call it that) I had ever called for. I sat at the hospital, waiting for the taxi, who drove by and didn't stop, not once, not twice, but three...yes three different times. Then finally the fourth time the hospital security officer corralled the taxi. I'm never going to use the Riverside Happy Taxi service again,I know they're independent contractors, but they should have some standards of running and operating. read more

I work at a hardware store in Riverside by ucr, a severely disabled customer had me call for a taxi to pick him up. After 30 minutes of waiting the customer became very anxious and had me call again to see what the hold up was. I call again and they reassure me that the taxi is on the way, just a few minutes the dispatch said, since he was only 3 miles away. 30 more minutes pass and at this point I said fuck happy taxi and paid for an uber myself to pick the customer up. When the taxi driver finally shows, the entire car reeked of weed. I inform him the customer was already picked up by uber, and he tries to tell me how it's not his fault that he received the call 5 minutes prior to him showing up. I honestly don't care who's fault it is but this is NOT how you're supposed to operate a business, and this is definitely not the way you treat customers, disabled or otherwise. The events that took place today remind me why taxi companies are going out of business. read more

I just took one of the worst taxi rides in my life. It was from the Mission Inn in Riverside to Ontario Airport. It was supposed to take about a half an hour and cost $44.00. Instead, it took over an hour and the meter reading was for over $90. The cab arrived early. The driver, a woman, did not ask my name but I told her my name, going to Ontario Airport. She did not offer to help me with my luggage so I managed to get it into the cab myself. It was not a comfortable, ordinary cab, but a van outfitted for wheelchairs. It was an extremely rough ride such that the driver kept grabbing the meter to stop it from rattling violently. The cab was very hot. I asked for air conditioning, which the driver had some difficulty operating. Finally, it did cool down. However, at intervals, the air conditioning stopped working and she had to try to make it work again, always at my request. Traffic on the freeway was very heavy, so the driver exited. At that point, she started driving over many streets without getting back on any freeways. I then turned on my Waze app. Every time Waze said to go somewhere she went the opposite direction. Finally I asked her, are you taking me to the Ontario airport? She said no, you told me to take you to the Orange County airport. So, she turned around and started up again towards the Ontario airport. She drove as slowly as possible. I begged her to speed up so that we could get there on time so that I could make my plane. But she refused to speed up, and cars on all sides passed us. When we finally reached our destination, she opened the door. I got out, again handling my own suitcases. She said nothing about the large bill on the meter. So I asked her, what are we going to do about this? She said, give me $55. I had three $20 bills, which I gave her. She did not have change for $5, but only had $2, which I took and fled. This company should be renamed "Unhappy Taxi." read more

Hhhhmmm....1 & a half stars not surprised...I have used this taxi cab for quite a while...and quite regularly. The past couple times using them they have been 20min-30min late. Last time I didnt complain. Tonight when I called back the dispatcher was unprofessional...rude! Told me with an attitude that indeed I had NOT been waiting as long as I said. First off getting thru tonite was a chore to begin with...this cab company is going downhill which is a shame because most of the drivers are cool except one...who while dropping me off made some pretty innapropriate comments about my mother as she was leaving our house...I laughed it off at the time but it pissed me off. Back to this evening when "Happy" Taxi FINALLY showed up. I explained I would no longer be requiring their services and explained how rude dispatch had been. He never apologized...instead called me back & said he hoped I wouldn't ever need a cab again cause now im blacklisted! LOL!!! From what exactly?!? JUST received PROFESSIONAL service from your competitor JACKASS!! Best believe I will be recommending a REAL Cab co. to anyone that asks. You're pathetic and so isnt that stupid bitch dispatcher :) who couldn't see past her fat ass or the crackpipe she's smokin to apologize for shitty service and disposition!
