    Horrible. I stored my items in this facility on my move from Colorado an when I went to move in…read moreearly Oct, I found out my 2 storage units had been flooded. I was never called, nothing to say there was a problem even though the manager knew there was a flood because she told me the office has been flooded. I lost almost everything I own. Was only paid $5K by the insurance company for one storage unit and had I been called and told there was a flood I could have saved some of my items. A large number of ruined by mold. Would never due business because they would care less about their customers and insurance, they force you to use did not pay.

At the same time allowing my unit from an auction purchased 12/28/23, go expired because she had already clocked out and it would've been too much of a process, she was very upset. And told me to come back tomorrow. Meanwhile, obviously, purposefully running away from the poor customer trapped in the gate. I had tried to arrive early enough for the last two days, unfortunately we are all 9-5. I also have a night job and two toddlers so I understand time constraints. Today I clocked out from work early 12/31/23 missing pay ($150). Worried about being late and also fearful of myself being trapped inside the gate now. When I arrived at 2pm, the door was locked and no one was in the office, so I looked down the isle where she was talking with a customer. Finally at 2:30pm I figured, they must be closed, since it is New Year's Eve. As I walked back to my car she is walking up and opens the door. The entire time looking for something wrong. I told her the unit number and she burst out 'oh no that unit is gone!' She mentioned something about what happens when you don't pay, assuming it was my unit that had been defaulted and sold, even though I had said now for the 5th time, that I purchased the unit through auction. She looked confused I don't think she remembers seeing me twice already. As she ruffled through the papers I'm wondering, what outcome do I expect seeing what I've already seen. Where the compassion? What's wrong with JUST being kind?? I was able to write this while she is right here looking for idk what, but alas she couldn't help me since my time had expired. I hope this doesn't ruin my relationship with the auction board. I'll have to contact them.. oh well. Maybe, hopefully the people got their stuff back or another auctioneer was able to step in and help out. Whatever the case, there is something happening much deeper with these 'units', some people have lost everything, others are so down bad they try to live in the damn unit! Everything is fine, until you're wife leaves, and half your house is now in storage. At the very least, the company capitalizing on this should have the most exclusive types of customer service. I will never rent a unit or bid at this location. Maybe this old store should dissolve -hint hint

    Since you do not allow customers to post on your fb page I have to comment here…read more.. Is there a reason a company your size cannot afford to fix an elevator in 6 months? Yet...continue to raise rent? Let me be specific.. Atlantic Beach unit 3028... third floor directly across from the elevator!!!!! that you can't seem to fix bahaaaa!! Your lovely employee and I were so excited about the location when I rented it years ago!! My unit was selected because of the proximity to the 3rd floor elevator, which has now been down from about MAY...roughly 5 months . Yet...You continue to RAISE RENT and make excuses about fixing the elevator. Silly. Is that really not in your budget..I mean I would think that would fall under maintenance but what do I know? Even if a capital investment it seems pretty damn important for a 3 story climate controlled building of this size to have both elevators in working condition. I mean it was your engineers who designed it for highest and best use, right? Which unfortunately looks like you are only applying to YOUR highest and best use NOT your customers. This is past the point of ridiculous. It gets worse...because you can't manage to fix that elevator...the only other one went down so you AMAZING employee carried my stuff up and down 3 stories and I am quite confident he didn't get a bonus but he preserved your reputation until you still will not fix or REPLACE the elevator. ‍#corporateBS
