I tried to be the DIY hero in this story... don't be that guy. After probably doing more damage than good trying to fix my water heater leak, I called Juan at U Save Plumbing. (I just found him on a quick yelp search and he seemed trustworthy, I was right!) Juan answered immediately. He took the time to understand my issue and made room in his schedule to come out the same day. He was at my house by 3pm and confirmed what I suspected: my water heater was unfixable. He gave me multiple options with absolutely zero pressure. Juan replied to my projects request on Yelp and he was communicative, patient and professional. I had contacted several others who did not compare to Juan's communication. He answered the call and provided honest feedback about whether or not he could do the project and he also was honest about the pricing. We had a leaky faucet outside and it had been leaking for about a week. Juan came on a Saturday morning and did the job fast. He also provided me with suggestions on what type of lock to get for the hose bib. I told him I didn't know much about hose bibs and he said he would look on Amazon. He then recommended which lock to get and I purchased one right away before my appt. When he came to the house, he showed professionalism and also care. He worked on the hose bib and the leak right away; he was done in less than an hour. He also exuded the patience to explain to me what was going on and how he had to solder the faucet. Because it was such an old faucet he showed me how changing the washers was not going to be helpful. Changing out the entire hose bib would be the most beneficial.
