I'm thinking of closing my account going to another bank and I hope Wells Fargo goes bankrupt. I feel sorry for the workers in the Patterson office. Banking at the Wells Fargo in Patterson for almost 3. They never remember me. And are not helpful even when THEY make a mistake on my account. Last straw for me was when I notified them of my travel out of state and the second day away, they still locked up my card for fraud prevention. They're always locking it up when I travel, yet somehow when actual fraudulent activity happened they didn't stop it and I spent months recovering from it even having to close the account and start a new one with them. Goularte over the phone if my mom had an account with the bank and she said no. When we went into the bank my mom requested that me, her only son be added to the account she did actually have. She said the systems were down and I have to fill out the information including my security questions and answers on a paper form. I asked why would they do that, she got flustered about it. She said the systems were down and they would have to add the information later and call us back to sign. Meanwhile they were calling the police to report me as as a person trying to take advantage of my own mother. I am currently on two of her other account with other banks in case of emergencies, like she becomes incapacitated. They then took my mom in a room questioned her and still allowed the cops to detain and harass me and my 77 year old mom after she said she wanted to add me. The cops harassed me some more and made us feel terrible if we were criminals. The cops also said they were going to open an investigation with adult protective services all because of what these bank employees lied about. I said lets get the camera footage out, but they refused. I called Julie the executive VP and she apologized for the false claim, but the employees were following policy. Well, I guess their policy is to have people write security questions in plain text on a piece of paper and call the cops immediately if their super wizard bank employees "Feel" something is wrong. I suggest you stay away from this bank. I am in cybersecurity and this is all wrong on so many levels. Just as an update 2-18-2026: My Mother closed her account today. She spoke to Marissa at the bank over the phone and said are you going to harass and call the police again if we go into the bank to close my account and after being on hold for an extended wait marissa said she was not sure if they would call the police. Eventually, Pinky Somel the customer service manager got on the phone and said I her son was not allowed in the bank. I took my mom to the bank and she closed her account. They never pick up the phone at the branch and they are not busy, however standing around doing nothing is more important. Pinkey and Teresa lied to the police and possibly upper management, because I questioned the security policies.

No one lives in Patterson, they incorrectly interpret the trust documents, and generally just make this hard expecting everyone to show up together during the week (no Saturday hours). I've had really good experiences with this location. There are usually ample tellers, if the line…read moreis long, it moves quickly and the tellers have always been extremely helpful and courteous. I like the added convenience of drive through atm's, one of which is usually staffed during normal business hours. Another convenience is the foyer, if you need to actually stop at a location you can go inside and use one of the two atm's there. I also like the added security of having to swipe your card to get access to the foyer outside of normal operating hours. If I ever have to go inside a location, this is my go-to spot!

They Staff at Patelco Understand That It Is My Deposits That Facilitate Their Revenue Stream. The level of professionalism the staff conducted themselves with was as refreshing as the complimentary cup of coffee. My hope is that this message get the attention of some other folks that manage businesses, and that they are encouraged to STEP UP THIER GAME, and not just engage in a competition of less for more when it comes to their competitors.
