We stopped by Chase Bank without an appointment because my son needed to open his first college checking account, and we were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and accommodating everyone was. Crystal Gutierrez assisted us, and she was absolutely wonderful--friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. She not only helped my son open his account but also took the time to walk him through the Chase app and explain how to use all the helpful tools. It was such a smooth, positive experience from start to finish, and we truly appreciated the extra care and attention Crystal gave us. read more

I had a wonderful experience with this location! I needed to open account asap and could not get an appointment anywhere anytime soon to do so. So I kept calling and a lot of Chase Banks wouldn't even answer the phone. So I finally was able to get through to this location and spoke to Maria Valadao . We explained are situation and she was very understanding. She was able to see us right away. Very nice lady. And extremely helpful. Thank you Maria!! read more

I am not from the Turlock area but it is the nearest branch from my home. I went all the way over there to have my name changed on my account and they informed me they could not help me and that I needed to call to have this done. I called the number they gave me once I got home and was told the complete opposite from chase customer service that I needed to go into a branch to make the name change. I am frustrated that I drove 30 minutes to be sent away with incorrect information. read more

This place obviously doesn't need my business. I tried to open an account when no other customers were in the bank and first thing in the morning. After the teller when in the back to speak to someone I was told to come back way later in the evening. Since I walk to the bank on an already hot day I declined. Never ever has a bank refused to open an account for me when I walked in. The people seriously need to rethink what they are doing there. Obviously to me they thought thier was more valuable than mine. I will not be opening an account there anytime soon. read more

This bank is literally the worst. terrible staffing no help into solving any of your problems. charge you fees left & right for the stupidest things. I switched to a credit union & have had no problems or charges whatsoever. they make excuses because of "policy changes" which is bullshit. if your looking into bank with them look else where. read more

Horrible experience! I had try to set up an appointment with a banker for weeks and couldn't get anyone to answer at the bank. I decided to walk in and speak with a teller, regarding new accounts. She informed me the banker was not available and was booked for the day. I asked if she could speak with her manager or check the branch on Geer Rd. After a brief moment, she informed me to set up an appointment online and go to the Geer Rd branch. The manager did not have the decency to come out and face me or offer to make an appointment at the branch. Like I said HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! read more

The staff is excellent but there hands are tied by management insisting they fill out deposit slips of those who do not read or speak engI'm closing my personal and business accounts. Every time I go inside the lines are delayed by those who think it's the tellers job to fill out deposit slips and the merchants window is seldom open! read more

This branch has it's good and it's not so good... GOOD: - Drive-through ATM - The tellers always seem to be very friendly & try their best to be helpful. NOT so Good: - they never seem to have enough tellers (there is always a line) especially during peak hours, they should have more staff available. - only 2 ATM's (I don't like people standing behind me while I withdraw money) & my latest incident... I made a larger withdraw and was trying to be discrete about it because the last thing I wanted is to be mugged on my way home. The banker seemed to not understand how to keep her voice down. There was a long line of people and she was loudly announcing how much money I was planning on withdrawing. I asked her to be a bit more discrete, but she couldn't seem process the fact that she was potentially setting me up for getting mugged on my way to the car. She was counting the money considerably loudly AND it was all in view of people standing in line!! She stretched her arms out and was placing all the money out on MY side of the teller's window for everyone to see! It was extremely obvious that I was going to be walking out with a large sum of cash, and it made me extremely uncomfortable. This location is convent for me, but I don't think I'll be coming back to be making any withdraws again. read more

Bank put my account on hold for no reason for two weeks. Not only did they waste my time keeping me waiting for 20 min but then they told me their was nothing they could do to get me my hard earned money and to make it worse they wouldn't even tell me why they had my account on hold for so long. I have the account for a car payment, but aside from that their never seeing another dollar/paycheck of mine. I would recommend just getting an account with Wells Fargo or even a smaller scale local bank tbh. ‍ read more

I've had really good experiences with this location. There are usually ample tellers, if the line is long, it moves quickly and the tellers have always been extremely helpful and courteous. I like the added convenience of drive through atm's, one of which is usually staffed during normal business hours. Another convenience is the foyer, if you need to actually stop at a location you can go inside and use one of the two atm's there. I also like the added security of having to swipe your card to get access to the foyer outside of normal operating hours. If I ever have to go inside a location, this is my go-to spot! read more

This bank is no longer a Washington Mutual, but a Chase bank. I recently switched to Chase and find this branch to have the most friendly, helpful people of all the Turlock branches. I highly recommend this Chase branch. read more

My boyfriend and I opened bank accounts together and each got a credit card too with chase. Great service that exceeded my expectations with Alejandra. Love this place better than Bank of America. Glad I switched! read more

If I could give zero stars I certainly would. Today I went to the ATM at Chase on Geer Rd in Turlock. I deposited 6 checks. It processed the checks and then it stated on the screen that 1 of the checks could not be read and it would be returned after the transaction. I finished my transaction, but no check was returned. I chose to have my receipt with check images, it showed that the last check for 52.00 was not deposited and to seek teller assistance. I went inside waited in line for a teller, she checked with the other teller who advised I need to take a seat and wait for a banker. I waited where I was told for about 10 minutes and then one of the 2 bankers came out and took the couple who was there before me. She asked me what I needed, I told her and she said, she was sending the other banker for lunch so if I wanted to wait for an hour or more that would be when she had time to deal with it. Or I could call the 800 # and have a case submitted! I went to my car and called the 800 # explained the problem, they understood the issue and said it would be corrected in 1-12 hours, it was fixed approximately 2 hours later. In these days where people are afraid employees are being replaced by technology you would think they would want to help you. Basically the 2 tellers at the bank just stand there all day! this is the Geer Road Turlock Branch. read more

Stay away from this branch , horrible customer service . The manager as he calls himself Vice President of this branch Mr.W, super rude . Long story short tried to open an account and they started with bunch of questions, as I tried to jump in and say skip them , the banker yelled at me saying she has to continue with this , I asked her if my request was rude in any way I don't don't mind leaving . She then continued after apologizing for raising her voice . 20 mins after asking bunch of questions tho weather I have a job or not and how much money I have at other banks , which shouldn't be any business of any bank , she leaves and the manger AKA mr. Vice President as he called himself . Comes in super aggressive and pulls a hair for himself and says it seems like today is not a right day for u to open a account because u don't seem ready with questions , he accused me for not telling him the truth about my job and other questions . He discriminated, he accused me for lying and was not friendly about it at all . I forgot to mention , i have bank account with Wells Fargo, Bank of America , and others , which I hold a large amount in , I decided to give this bank a chance because I have heard good things about chase , but maybe u guys should visit a different branch maybe they are little more friendly and less hostile towards customers and clients . Best of luck with u Mr. Vice President of this branch , I will not mention any names for ur sake , however I will be doing many more surveys and be calling the corporate to file a former complaint . Wish I didn't go in this branch . Made the whole brand look horrible . Best of luck with ur machines that handle the customers at the front doors . Maybe someday ur job can be replaced by them too I am sure they can so much better of a job . read more

Sucks ass!!! The line is always like a line you would see for a $200.00 computer at Circuit City the day after Thanksgiving. There is a ratio of tellers to customers of like 1:285. No joke, but every time that I have to use the drive-thru ATM machine, there is a freakin' armoured truck there posted for about one hour...(I am severely serious on that one, couldn't make that shit up if I tried to!) While overall WAMU may be a fine financial institution and establishment, I'm seriously thinking about changing to "Bank of my Mattress" read more

I just went in to do a deposit and was helped by the nicest teller Natalie. She had a smile on her face the entire time and chatted me up while doing my transaction quickly. I'm in banking myself and know how the 1st of the month can go. It's busy and hectic but this girl never missed a beat. The banker Eric also went trough the teller line to engage customers and offer assistance where he could. Overall great experience! read more

My husband and I were waiting there for an hour to see a banker. While waiting I had to make a quick deposit and while I was doing that one of the old bankers crosses my name off. When I went back to the clip board I saw they crossed my name off so I wrote it again. The acting manager kept telling me your next your next and then the same old banker comes and gets the other customer first and the acting manager said nothing. I walked out. I will close al my accounts with them. They want the accounts and the money but they don't want to give you the service. So I know what I need to do this weekend is to look for a new bank. read more

13 people waiting to talk to a loan officer. Is that acceptable to you Chase? Not having any officers at the other branch doesn't help either. Get with it. I'm trying everything possible NOT to get the loan through Chase. read more

Let me start by saying I use yelp all the time to read reviews however have never felt the need to write one myself. I was in the market for a new bank and received a incentive offer by Chase to try them out. Upon reading reviews I almost made the decision not to go to this branch and glad I made the decision to do so. I didn't see what previous reviewers had to say about this location. To start off, I was welcomed by a young lady at the door who offered her asstintance and guided me to my banker. There the banker took the time to get to know me and what's important to me before making her recommendation. I've been with my bank for over 40 years and didn't realize that banks still take a genuine interest to build a relationship with their clients. When the recommendation was made the banker took the time to ensure I understood the recommendation and all that Chase has to offer. She was able to introduce me to the advisor who we set a follow up appointment for to revisit my investments. Once everything was all set and done the manager took the time to meet me, he then thanked me for my business and was appreciative for the opportunity to service my banking needs. I look forward to building my banking relationship with Chase and glad to see there are still professionals working in the banking industry. read more

Always very welcoming, friendly and helpful! Much better experience here than the Merced bank

I was getting a home mortgage through Liz Garcia and she went on vacation for a week. Renee from the Countryside Drive branch called and said the underwriter was requiring $4K more than what Liz had said. Renee wasn't even assigned to our loan. When Liz returned from vacation, she stated that Renee made a mistake and he called also to apologize. In between their carelessness and miscommunications, I lost the house I was trying to buy since the time contingency on the contract expired. I am still trying to get back the $500 I paid to open the loan and (not surprisingly), Liz does not return my calls. Below horrible service and I am deeply upset at losing the home. I have talked to several other people who had similar problems. And I tried to put in a complaint to the branch manager but they are all buddies, so you know how far that will go. Please save yourself time and heartache: DO NOT GET YOUR MORTGAGE THROUGH CHASE! read more
