No complaints on their moving - everything was put where it needed to go, no walls, doors, etc were damaged in the process. They put together a few pieces of furniture for us. The simple furniture was no problem, but our guest bed is a bit more complicated. One of the main side rails was installed upside down. Several main cross beams were just floating, not screwed into anything. Thankfully I checked the bed before our guests arrived or it would have collapsed under their weight. When I started partially disassembling the bed to set it up properly I noticed that, in addition to the missing screws, half the existing screws were stripped. Luckily (I guess?) they weren't screwed in tightly and I was able to remove with pliers. I contacted Brother Bear to have the missing/damaged screws replaced and was advised to submit a claim with photos via email. I did so and expressed some urgency that our guests were set to arrive in 2 days and was assured that somebody would follow up by 2 pm the same day. That was on 8/25. As of today, 9/3 I have yet to hear back from them. I tried to follow up a few times and they refused to answer their phones. My voicemails have not been returned. I ended up buying replacement screws myself. It's one thing if they were to deny my request for whatever reason, but to just dismiss, ignore, and screen my calls over a minor damage claim? I can get over buying $10ish in hardware, but I will not use them again and would not recommend because I don't trust that their customer service will assist if anything else gets damaged.

I had to tell them to wrap several things that I was watching them carry to the truck. I had damage to my front door and door frames and my basically brand new furniture that I'm still paying on. Some of the damage was because they were not helping each other carry heavy items. Also two holes were drilled into my desk that were not needed. I contacted brother bear several times and finally got a response and they said they could schedule a handyman to fix the damage so I told him my availability and now I'm getting no response after multiple text and emails. I paid them $1,425 to move and damage my stuff. I'm so upset at how they handle things I do not recommend this company at all. I gave them a chance to make it right and they decide to ignore. 5/5/21 Update I wrote this review on Yelp and so someone contacted me the next day and said this. Hi Christina, I saw your review on Yelp and I am glad that you brought this our attention. We sent your information to our handyman and he let us know that he set up an appointment with you... I'm not sure where the ball got dropped, but our intention is the same as it was from the beginning.. to get you taken care of. Would you like for us to send you the money so you can set up your own appointment and avoid and further confusion? We can send over $400 today. I asked them to schedule a repairman and that was a week ago. Now we are back to no response on asking about a repair man coming out. I really can't stand when people are so good to you and the minute they take your money its oh well on to screw the next person. I am now taking this to small claims court if this in not resolved by the end of the week. This is ridiculous and such bad business. My parents were going to use them next month to move a huge house and barn and two storage buildings but not now. I also had several friends that wanted to use them as well as my realtor but no recommendations from me for this company.

Furniture was placed in the wrong rooms, boxes were not adequately cared for - there was tens of thousands worth of damage to antiques and glassware, glass table tops were broken and damaged, and some wood furniture was broken. In the end, they didn't pack the glassware, but they could have been more careful.

When we moved across country, we hired them to pack our pods and they went above and beyond to help us out when we underestimated the amount of furniture we had to move. Because they did such a great job, I recommended them to my mom for her move. They are very in demand and weren't available when she needed them, so she adjusted her move date for them and didn't regret it. Highly recommend!

It took 3 of their 24' trucks to move all of our belongings less than 3 miles to their storage. They charged us over $8000.00. They sent a statement for $1175 in storage fees for 15 storage units at $75/month per unit. They wouldn't release our furniture for over a month, after making numerous calls and email requests to Johnny and Kenny, the owner, until after August 23rd. They provide the first month storage free, so they held our property until well after the free period had expired. I hired another moving company to pick up all of our stuff on August 23rd and asked for three 24' trucks. At the end of the day, they only gave back less than 2 trucks of our stuff and withheld all of our most valuable furniture including a jewelry box full of jewelry and antiques. Their storage units are wood crates clamped so no one has access. The movers on August 23rd provided me with pictures of what they found when they went inside the storage unit warehouse. There were no storage units for them to unload, just the belongings they decided to release to us scattered like trash all over the floor. I sent them a deceptive trade practices--consumer protection act notice before suit asking them to return the rest of our stuff. They did not respond and have since cut all communication with us. We intend to file suit in US District Court for damages and return of our belongings withheld from us all this time. We fear that they have unlawfully liquidated or stolen for personal use all of the belongings they kept.

I asked for extra care for my grandmother's dressers, and they did not even put anything on top of it, leading to scratches and gouges all over the top. The moving company that unloaded the truck at our destination said they could not believe how poorly it was loaded. I very much regret hiring A Sharp Movers. I sent pictures of the damage to the owner and my husband and I both left voicemails. Over a week later, there has been no reply.
