1 Star - Terrible Communication & Unprofessional Management…read more My experience with All Sons Moving Company in McKinney, Texas was completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and poor customer service from start to finish was shocking. My move was scheduled for a Sunday afternoon. I was told the movers had another job earlier that day but coming later that afternoon would not be a problem. Suddenly they finished early and decided they wanted to come much earlier than agreed. That was never the plan. Then the pricing policies were not clearly explained when I booked the move. Later they tried to tell me about hourly and weight charges after the fact. That is something that should be clearly explained when a customer books the service, not later on when confusion already exists. Because things were not handled properly, I had to speak with another operations manager who finally explained the procedures and rebooked the move correctly. But then the truck broke down at their location before they even left to come to my house. Instead of communicating properly with me, the company went ahead and scheduled my move for Monday without my approval or even telling me. I never agreed to a Monday move. Today (Tuesday) I called the McKinney location and spoke with the manager, Jenson, to address everything that happened. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, he had a terrible attitude. When I told him his employees were rude and lacked customer service, he responded by saying, "What are you on the phone with me for? What are we doing right now?" What we're doing is simple. I want my refund and I will never use this company again. Between the miscommunication, hidden policies, truck issues, rescheduling without permission, and rude management, this was one of the worst service experiences I have had.

No complaints on their moving - everything was put where it needed to go, no walls, doors, etc were damaged in the process. They put together a few pieces of furniture for us. The simple furniture was no problem, but our guest bed is a bit more complicated. One of the main side rails was installed upside down. Several main cross beams were just floating, not screwed into anything. Thankfully I checked the bed before our guests arrived or it would have collapsed under their weight. When I started partially disassembling the bed to set it up properly I noticed that, in addition to the missing screws, half the existing screws were stripped. Luckily (I guess?) they weren't screwed in tightly and I was able to remove with pliers. I contacted Brother Bear to have the missing/damaged screws replaced and was advised to submit a claim with photos via email. I did so and expressed some urgency that our guests were set to arrive in 2 days and was assured that somebody would follow up by 2 pm the same day. That was on 8/25. As of today, 9/3 I have yet to hear back from them. I tried to follow up a few times and they refused to answer their phones. My voicemails have not been returned. I ended up buying replacement screws myself. It's one thing if they were to deny my request for whatever reason, but to just dismiss, ignore, and screen my calls over a minor damage claim? I can get over buying $10ish in hardware, but I will not use them again and would not recommend because I don't trust that their customer service will assist if anything else gets damaged.

I had to tell them to wrap several things that I was watching them carry to the truck. I had damage to my front door and door frames and my basically brand new furniture that I'm still paying on. I contacted brother bear several times and finally got a response and they said they could schedule a handyman to fix the damage so I told him my availability and now I'm getting no response after multiple text and emails. I paid them $1,425 to move and damage my stuff. I'm so upset at how they handle things I do not recommend this company at all. I'm not sure where the ball got dropped, but our intention is the same as it was from the beginning.. to get you taken care of. Would you like for us to send you the money so you can set up your own appointment and avoid and further confusion? We can send over $400 today. I asked them to schedule a repairman and that was a week ago. Now we are back to no response on asking about a repair man coming out. I really can't stand when people are so good to you and the minute they take your money its oh well on to screw the next person. I am now taking this to small claims court if this in not resolved by the end of the week. This is ridiculous and such bad business. My parents were going to use them next month to move a huge house and barn and two storage buildings but not now. I asked for extra care for my grandmother's dressers, and they did not even put anything on top of it, leading to scratches and gouges all over the top. The moving company that unloaded the truck at our destination said they could not believe how poorly it was loaded. I very much regret hiring A Sharp Movers. At one point I finally started moving furniture to the door to try and get them motivated. I had to leave before they were done loading. The two movers were so unprofessional I called in other family members to be present so that I felt my family and belongings would be safe. Paid the company just so the two movers would leave intending to speak with the owner. Have spoken with him twice each time with him promising to 'look into it'. When Bryan stormed my door he indicated he had to pay a fee of $25. for the bounced check?? I quickly reimbursed him, but he still rambled on and on. There was MORE THAN ENOUGH MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT!, nor had the check been stamped "Non-sufficient funds"?? I gave Bryan the number of my branch manager, which he refused to call. Not to mention he charged me $1000.00 more than quoted due to mileage?? A good business man would know the mileage, gas price, etc, before he quoted the price!! Furniture was placed in the wrong rooms, boxes were not adequately cared for - there was tens of thousands worth of damage to antiques and glassware, glass table tops were broken and damaged, and some wood furniture was broken.
