Recently used this company to assemble Two large chairs and one large outdoor storage shed. From day one of inquiring about their service and pricing, Tony was responding immediately answering all of my questions. I immediately booked an appointment for which Tony confirmed. When I reached out for additional questions, he was quick to respond. On appointment day, the installers showed up right on time and could not have been more professional and knowledgeable. They immediately got to work and assembled everything in perfect working order. We even had a very heavy downpour of rain while they were working and that did not stop them from completing the outside storage shed. Awesome work and professionalism. Can't wait to use Assembly Worx again soon! read more

We hired assembly Worx to assemble and install a new gazebo that we ordered. They showed up on time and were very professional. They noticed a couple pieces of the gazebo that were cracked during shipping and helped me to get new parts ordered and shipped. They were very accommodating and came back as soon as the new parts got here to assemble the gazebo. They kept us updated throughout the process and made sure that there were no surprises. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future for any other projects! read more

Had to buy some IKEA furniture for my new Work From Home and Home PC stream station because of the new Virus Restrictions made it impossible for me to do both from the desk...plus I was due for an upgrade. I couldn't find a good assembler on Yelp but Googled IKEA furniture assembly and this company popped up. I suppose on Yelp advertisers are burying this hidden Gem. I was going to assemble the furniture myself to save money but I realize during these trying times people are probably looking for work and this helps them out. Plus the Price was the most reasonable of all! For instance if you used Task Rabbit which is outsourced by IKEA directly it was quoted as a 6 hr job at a much higher cost. But Worx was able to assemble 4 Alex Drawers in around one hour and also install a stability leg and wire management system in another 30 minutes. They were very kind and even pointed out imperfections of the material as I worked and suggested calling IKEA to get replacements if I desire if it starts to wear out in the 365 warranty. They also informed me I bought too much because I bought two IKEA stability legs just in case and that was amazing for their foresight. In total the job for 4 Alex Drawers, Installing a cable management tray, installing a stability leg, and placing the furniture in the orientation I want cost only 150 USD and I offered a 50 dollar tip. It was almost 1/3 more for that from other furniture assemblers and IKEA's task rabbit itself. I'll post pictures after I post this review but I can't recommend them highly enough Cheers! read more

Anthony came the next day to assemble our king hemnes ikea bed, nightstand and three Alex drawers. Very reasonable prices for furniture assembly. We had Ikea home deliver all the big pieces which only cost $50 if you pick up the pieces yourself and then walk over to delivery. Did an awesome job , reliable, efficient, no fuss!! I would hire again and recommend to friends to hire Assembly Worx. read more

So thankful to have found Assembly Worx. My S.O. from I and I bought a bed frame with drawers from hell from IKEA ( The BRIMNES bed frame). We thought we could assemble it ourselves, but little did we know that it comes with a ridiculous amount of parts. I called Assembly Worx the next day and they answered and were able to send out someone the same day. I talked to Tony on the phone. The person who assembled our bed was also named Tony, but not the one who I spoke to on the phone. Tony was professional and efficient. A bed frame that I read that took most people 9+ hours to assemble took Tony only 3 hours. I also felt comfortable having Tony in our apartment and he helped clean up the mess afterwards. Tony also assembled a table and two chairs for us in less than an hour. FYI I think this company might be run by Asians. I thought it was kind of refreshing and cool to see such positive representation in a an unlikely field. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Assembly Worx and Tony the assembler to help you assemble any complicated IKEA furniture you may purchase!! Oh and the PRICE was very fair and reasonable too! read more

My bed frame broke. I thought I could fix it. Wrong! I needed help. Assembly Worx repaired it.

Impressive workmanship and fast, the guy was very informative and friendly also very respectful

Tony did a great job building our TV stand from Wayfair! The TV stand we bought came with a bunch of pieces and seemed like a daunting task, so we called Tony to help us assemble the stand. He did a great job in putting the pieces together quickly and solidly. He also was very kind and cleaned up all the styrofoam and cardboard from the TV so we barely had to clean up anything after. Will definitely use him again in the future! read more

Professional, respectful, efficient, accommodating, and excellent execution and workmanship! I am blown away by how quick the work was done and by how amazing the QUALITY of their work is! I expressed concern the day before, cause I had quite a bit of furniture to assemble and doubted their ability to get it all done within a day. I definitely underestimated their skills! Tony and his assistant were great! They were also very accommodating with my schedule (had to ask them to come a little later than originally scheduled). They were respectful in my home (even took off their shoes without having me ask them to cause they saw I had my shoes off). That alone proved to me their attention to detail. It's a little worrisome inviting people in your home, but these guys made the experience so very comfortable... Just so friendly with superb communication! Had to leave back to work, and Tony updated me with pictures.. Just awesome service! Will most definitely use this company again for future projects! The cost was so worth the convenience Tony provided! What took him only 5 hours, would've taken me and my husband 3 days at the very least! Items that were assembled: -2 sets of South shore captain twin beds with attached 6-drawer storage on each bed -IKEA Billy Corner shelf set -IKEA Besta media stand with 2 drawers and 2 cabinet doors with double shelves in each cabinet read more

This is my second time using Assembly Worx for furniture assembly. The first time I was referred to Tony by Nebraska Furniture to assemble a desk I purchased from them. He did a fantastic job. This second time I had one small file cabinet and one bookcase needing to be assembled. Anthony assembled these two pieces and went above and beyond with his work. He even helped anchor the bookcase to the wall and provided organization tips. I am very pleased with the end product. Anthony also does handyman work. I will definitely be contacting Assembly Worx again for future assembly needs. Very prompt, reasonable prices, and fantastic work ethic. 11/10 would recommend! :] read more

Responsive, arrived on time, did a great job and assembled a patio set I never could have put together myself.

I just moved to the dallas area and knew I was going to need someone to assemble some of the furniture I was ordering because I wanted it done right and I'm not even close to that level of skill. Assembly worx was the first place I called and instantly knew they were who I was going to give my business to for several reasons. They Don't try overcharge you, they seemed reliable, and they were very nice. On the day of assembly he came in and completed the task in about 2 1/2 hours. I would recommend them 1000 percent! read more

We have used Assembly Worx several times over the years. They have assembled furniture from Nebraska Furniture Mart, Wayfair and Target. They have also mounted TVs at our office. Julie and her team Anthony and Chuck recently saved our day. My son moved into an apartment and all of his furniture was delivered in boxes. We were so overwhelmed. Julie and her team were in the area and were at the apartment with in an hour. The three of them had everything put together in a couple of hours...kitchen table, 4 chairs, headboard, footboard, dresser, and a tricky floating entertainment unit. All for under $200! They are so friendly and helpful. I will never assemble anything myself again! Thanks Julie Anthony and Chuck! read more

Thank you Tony for doing a fabulous job on my furniture. I needed to assemble my home office (desk with hutch and cabinets, bookcase and chair). Tony arrived on time, had great suggestions and was done in no time at all ( or so it seemed). I was pleasantly surprised. I now have my to-go person, when I need to assemble any furniture. Also, for our safety, had a mask on. read more

Tony came to the house to help assemble a 3-1 pool table and in the midst of unwrapping the box we saw that it was damaged. We had to stop that project. Needless to say he still helped us fix some dinning room table chairs that were wobbling. Tony is a very cool and knowledgeable guy. Will definitely be using him from here on out to assemble any and everything. read more

I was very pleased with my experience with Assembly Worx. I needed help getting 2 IKEA headboards mounted on a wall. I would definitely use them again for a project! read more

I purchased 2 cabinets from IKEA, fully intending to assemble them, as I always have for our DIY furniture, bookcases, etc. There were also 5 drawers, kick panel, decorative panels, doors, handles, etc. Usually, I just tough it out and load the stuff and carry it home. But, getting smarter in my old age, I opted this time for IKEA to deliver. As a result, I had no idea how much "stuff" there was for two cabinets, 1- 30" and 1- 24". WOW, 20 - 30 boxes of varying sizes plus a 2' x 3' tote full of miscellaneous stuff. WOW, 2 - 300 pounds of frustration; I knew that I was no match for this project! So, since IKEA had offered "setup" at purchase, I called them. After 20 - 30 minutes of runaround, I was told that "setup" was not possible after the sale. Now what? Google, of course, and I'll save you the effort... AssemblyWorx, and, specifically, Tony, was helpful from the first contact and even better in person! A quick quote based on my IKEA invoice, appointment time and he showed up as scheduled! A little less than 4 hours later our cabinets were installed, anchored to the wall and looked and worked great! The work area was neat and clean and I had saved myself two or three days of major frustration. Katie B., above, said it best: "affordable, responsive, reliable, professional." And, I would add to that: comfortable to have in your home. There is no need to beat yourself to death with the frustration of building IKEA (or, any other) projects - let Tony do it! Highly, highly recommended! read more

Sub-category should be furniture assembly (for me Ikea furniture) but this wasn't given as an option so I just put it under "handyman". The best characteristics I would use to describe the service: affordable, responsive, reliable, professional. The only bad thing I have to say about Assembly Worx is that they weren't already posted on Yelp, this I can't believe. I believe I had initially googled "Ikea Furniture Assembly" and found them, I had several pieces of Ikea furniture (table, chairs, couch, tv stand, dressers) and there was basically no way I was going to assemble everything myself. Tony was SUPER responsive, as opposed to the official 3rd party Ikea contractor who took days to respond to my initial inquiry. I was a bit timid as Assembly Worx wasn't the approved but figured for the price I couldn't go wrong, I was sure they would do a better, quicker job than I could plus had guaranteed if anything went wrong in 90 days they would come back out (that didn't void the Ikea warranty). The assembly took under an hour, was really professional and he helped explain all the tidbits that I should be aware of when taking care of the furniture. I mean honestly, I still can't believe no one has written about this before... I was not impressed with Ikea and their slow service and delivery of the furniture and so can't thank you (tony) enough for helping make the rest of the job a breeze. Tony is wonderful! I hired him to assemble quite a bit of Ikea furniture and he even agreed to hang a curtain and curtain rod for me too. Tony came out the evening after I first contacted him and assembled our IKEA Brimes bed frame and nightstand in a couple of hours. He was fully prepared with extra tools, parts, etc., if needed. And they were needed since we didn't want the standard storage area behind the headboard, and he was able to adjust and do that with no problem! We'll be calling him the next time we need any kind of assembly help - a potential several hours of frustration saved, and well worth it! Highly recommended. read more

Tony take care of his business pretty well. The assembly service was amazing. They are fast and will give their professional opinion on how to lay out the furniture in the room. Their schedule is flexible and nice people. Very fast and high quality. They would tell you how the furniture look if there's any deflects, they would tell you and recommend how to deal with it. Also they are responsible, not like someone who assemble for you and don't care about anything else (clean). They try the best to keep your room clean. read more

Superb service! Tony gets the job done fast and with much deft. He impressively assembled my coffee table, console table and two bar stools--one of which was defective-- and even offered advice on how to maintain and handle them, if at some point, I choose to re-locate them to other areas in my home. He was on time, friendly and professional. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tony! read more

We go back beyond the oldest review here and up to this month. We used Anthony before Assembly Worx was formed. He and his girlfriend before she was his wife and long before a baby. To the best of my memory we've had a desk and file cabinet, an entertainment stand, another desk, another file, another entertainment stand assembled and most recently a medicine cabinet hung and assembled. There's probably more they've done. This last time was two new gentleman. I'd rate every time a 5 out of 5. Prices are reasonable. Work is professional. Persons doing the work are courteous and pleasant. I will continue to use them for any needs and wouldn't consider anyone else. I don't know why I'm shown in San Francisco, but I'm located in Plano. read more

Can't say enough about Tony's work on my IKEA furniture. Very fair price for the amount of work he did for me (8-9 pieces including a bed frame, sofa, dining set).
