Nothing was broken and they were in constant communication and customer service was very helpful throughout the whole process. The delivery was on time, it took six days. The price was very reasonable for that distance compared to other services that were almost twice as more expensive. Moving made easier with Upack! I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience. I used the relocube option and went to the local ABF site to look at the cube and asked all kinds of questions - all of which were thoroughly answered. Booked my cube online - customer service was friendly and helpful. Moved out of state - the cube arrived as instructed, the driver was patient while he showed me how to lock/unlock the doors. Cube was delivered to my destination on time. You can track it's progress online which was reassuring. Can't beat the price too. Moving companies quoted me 3-4x the cost of Upack. Be diligent and do your homework. Lots of moving companies use brokers - not Upack. No hidden costs. You're charged what you were quoted and ABF handles your cargo from start to finish. U Pack was one of the least expensive ways to move. Their customer service reps were very helpful and even recommended the least expensive option for my move. They delivered the truck within the designated time frame. You have three days to pack and three days to unload. The pickup driver was friendly and courteous. I highly recommend. U-Pack is an efficient, economical way to move. I spent less than $2000 to move a truck load of stuff (4 large pieces of furniture, 7 large boxes, 4 antique Persian rugs with their pads, plus a lot of odds and ends and small furniture) from Penna to Calif. The company was ontime both coming and going, user-friendly, and courteous. They moved my stuff very carefully - not a thing got damaged. You have three business days to pack and unpack. The two padlocks are extra, but I just bought mine at Home Depot for a few dollars. read more

Has been a while since I experienced such good customer service from anyone. We wanted to ship some furniture to our son in MA from our home in PA. Using U-pack was less expensive than renting a u-haul and spending an entire weekend, plus hotels, gas etc. The only problem is somehow I did not understand that the service I selected would result in a tractor trailer being left in my driveway for the weekend, which was stressful. A wonderful experience from start to finish! I recently moved from Pennsylvania to Southwest Florida. This was my first "big" move. The driver, Rob, who delivered and picked up the cubes in PA was so nice! He was right on time and very friendly. Customer service at the Allentown location over the phone was top notch also. My cubes were picked up on a Tuesday and arrived in FL by Friday! I can't say enough about ABF Freight U Pack and I highly recommend them! When I opened up my cubes here in FL everything was still right in place and there was not one item broken. Be sure to have friends and family to help you pack and use plenty of bubble wrap/packing paper. I was very happy with the service I received from ABF Freight. They brought my U-Pack Relocube to two very challenging locations for drop off, got it there on time, and I got the same extra-care in pick up when it was both full and empty. My things were all delivered safely, customer service was easy, friendly and timely whenever I called. This company is trustworthy and reliable. I used the Allentown location to store my U-Pack storage container. My experience with U-Pack- also top notch in terms of customer service, and best prices I could find for moving and storage. Every email was personally responded to, and I never had trouble speaking to someone over the phone. My only complaint is with regard to communication between U-Pack and their storage facilities. I thought that in communicating with U-Pack, information about my planned move would be relayed to the facility where I was storing my container; however, this was not the case. This made my move a bit more complicated, as there were some last minute adjustments we had to make, which probably could have been avoided if there had been better communication between U-Pack (with whom I had been communicating) and the local storage facility where I had my container. As for the location- great experience. The people who work here are awesome, super communicative, and clearly see customer service as their top priority. read more

We used UPack for our move to NC. The whole process was really smooth. They let us know the approximate delivery time and showed up exactly as they told. Pods are relatively large and took almost all we got. It cost much cheaper and was more convenient than renting a uhaul truck. Definitely recommended! read more

I moved from clinton nj to walland tn. I used a trailer to move and store my things. My possessions were stored for 4 months at the ABF terminal in Knoxville. My overall experience was favorable. My things arrived undamaged (many years ago i used a a similar service and when my things arrived it looked like the transport company had vigorously shaken the trailer breaking many of the contents.) Upack communication was frequent and clear, and the trailer drivers were helpful dropping off and picking up the trailer. The negative is that when it came time to get the trailer for unloading, it was delivered 6 hours late. I had called upack weeks in advance, then days in advance, then the morning of delivery (as advised by them) to arrange the date and request a morning delivery. On delivery day, upack initally pushed back delivery to midday, and then late afternoon as the day progressed. As i had arranged for a crew to unload the trailer, this cost me time and money. read more

I would highly advise against using U-Pack Moving. My wife is moving to Columbus for work (we're both residents, so our time was limited and we needed to do it in a specific time). We called about 6 weeks before our move and set everything up. We then called back about 2 weeks out to confirm everything and set up the time for us to come pack our pod. We were told that they wrote down the delivery date as the shipping date but regardless, there were not going to be any pods available until the middle of August (our Pod was supposed to be delivered to Columbus in July). They reviewed the initial call we made and acknowledged they wrote down the wrong dates, but were still unable to work with us to get us a pod so we can move in time. We ended up renting a UHaul and moving ourselves which we should have just done from the beginning. Their customer service, especially the managers were extremely rude and unprofessional! read more
