Great energy and friendly atmosphere. Super reasonable. Beautiful rolls. I have been to Sushi restaurants in Tokyo, California, Hawaii, and New York and this is a favorite because of the energy...and reasonable price. Small, friendly, neighborly kind of feel. I have had rolls filled with more fish/meat, but at five times the price. And family friendly or great for a couple.

Best spot to eat at if you're in Tulum, or all of Quintana Roo for that matter. I'm from San Diego and I've been all over the coast. No place in California I've been to has come close to this little spot. The small menu makes it really easy to choose yet has plenty of options. Try the Unagi roll or for an appetizer try some gyoza. Maybe some noodles if you feel like filling up the tank. I've yet to try the ramen here but after everything else I can honestly say I can't wait to come back and try it. Thanks Uno, thanks for making me feel welcomed. You've made my trip to Q. Roo a trip to remember.

Don't go to Tulum town for Japanese food. There are much better options around if you are feeling something other than Mexican.

He gave us a free dish to try. Everything was 10/10. Also allowed to make request in your sushi.

I ordered gyoza de carne molida, it was my first time trying them and they did not disappoint.

Trying to go to Rosanegro but ended up next door. I was told to go to our other side because…read moreRosanegro only takes reservations. I think it's a tad confusing. These are two different locations. The service is just ok. We were seated but never approached. I had to wave the server down whenever we needed him. Food.... Salivating! We ordered the rock shrimp, spicy filet and the ribeye. The rock shrimp were just ok however both steaks melt in your mouth! The rib eye comes out on a grill and you can cook it to your liking. Very Smokey but very delicious. The energy was very high late at night. It's definitely a celebration.

Where do you go if you're looking to have a super fun time with drinks and sparklers? The answer is…read moreTora! My group decided to check this place out after eating at Gitano, which was right across the street. Before even leaving Gitano, you can hear the music from Tora blaring all down the entire street. It was loud and super vibey. This is what you think of, when someone says "Tulum Party." The 6 of us got seated at a table. We only ordered drinks as we had just had dinner. We were then offered some sparklers from some of the staff there. We grabbed them and started dancing on the tables and having the best time of our life. It felt like we were in a music video. We had such a good time!!! While I can't remember the name of the drink I got, it was pretty good. The DJ plays great music, and has everyone moving left to right. This was like a club on steroids. The two downsides I have of this place are that it's extremely expensive. I think my drink cost about $25-$30 USD. That's ridiculous. But you have to expect that if you are on this street. All the places are extremely expensive and you are paying for the experience more than anything. The second downside is that if you go to the restroom while you are here, you will be offered drugs. I think that happened to us on more than one occasion, not only at Tora but everywhere else in Tulum. So just be cautious at all times. Apart from those two things, Tora is a pretty fun spot. I wouldn't go back though, simply because that whole environment is very stressful, it's way too expensive, and the traffic on the street is insane. It's a two way street that gets congested from 10pm-4am pretty much every night. However, many people do enjoy the place, so to each their own!
