Nearly a month ago I had reason to contact my propane supplier re: a possible leak. Several days…read morelater I was checked by a technician with faulty equipment. They recommended a plumber who delivered a scenario (verbally) that was out of sight (financially) and not in the least practical. I then contacted AmeriGas and spent nearly four hours on the phone attempting to get an appointment. This increased to over five hours over the next ten days and I never did get anyone out to the house. Finally, I called Pacific Coast Propane and talked with Tina, appointment set, the next day Joaquín the technician was there early, diagnosed the problem and explained the possible solutions. The fix was agreed on and several days later he was here, fixed the problem which required moving the tank. Several days later Aaron called to let me know he was enroute to fill the tank. Five minutes later he was there and did his thing, Now, why am I responding to this contact? Peoria Az. may be many things, but good timely service is not one of them. Tina , Joaquin and Aaron are three exceptional employees, They were courteous, polite, friendly, open when describing the concerns I had and the various methods of fixing the problem. In these days of the SCAM it almost sounded to good to be true. These three individuals in every way are outstanding representatives of your company. They are obviously members of a close team that knows how to treat potential and now permanent customers. OH! AmeriGas? The day after Aaron filled the tank I received a phone message to call about an appointment, only took them three weeks!

Tina was wonderful and pleasant. The managed to come out on short notice and were extremely…read morereasonable price and honest.

I was having some real range anxiety with my grill last month, I didn't want my meat on the grill…read moreand get cut off before I finished. I hate when that happens. :-/ I wasn't really sure just how much propane I had left but I knew there was *some; I also didn't want to waste the propane I did have remaining and swap for a full tank. I searched for places that refill propane and there are a few near me, an Aarco gas and a uhaul just down the street. I called and they were both about $1 more per gallon than Blue Star for fill a up and the aarco pre charges you for the full tank weather you fill that much or not. I found Blue Star and they were only a few extra miles further, they only charge for what you fill and they were the least expensive per gallon I found. You can go to Walmart and swap your tank for like $20 or you can pay per gallon for a refill which will run you closer to $15 for a full tank; mine was about $11 since I still had over a gallon remaining. Don't let range anxiety get you down, fill yer grill and chillax with that frosty beverage while cooking your meat.

My recent experience with Robert Erickson and Matt, the service technician, was excellent. We had…read morea gas leak on our hot water heater which was an urgent safety matter. Robert, along with Matt, responded immediately upon my service call. There was an issue with our "on call delivery system" which was repaired within hours of my urgent service call. Both individuals were very professional and I look forward to working with them both as well as the Blue Star company, for of my future propane requirements. Stan A.
