This used to be a place individuals could go to conduct their own work on vehicles and save thousands. I called and was told the company has been recently rebranded into a mechanic shop and no longer allows this. The business does offer Military discounts (ID required); which every business should regardless. **Thank you to all who are serving, have served, or have served as family of those who've served! America is our home, keep respecting those that have always kept it a better home than other areas of the world.** I understand the industry as well so it makes sense to rebrand considering the lack of people housing the intellectual capacity to conduct their own mechanic work and do it properly. I haven't been to this location since 2012 so I couldn't give a proper review on the basis of professional rapport, however, at least y'all will have some appropriate expectations. A novel concept: a garage with about all the tools you need to fix your own vehicle! I was referred to this garage after needing to remount the heat shield beneath my car, and didn't feel I could safely do the job with floor jacks. I came to this DIY garage to use their car lift. The staff was very friendly and were around to get all the tools I needed to do the job. They provided quality Craftsmen tools. If you are stumped or need assistance, the mechanics there are available to help, for an additional cost. I think this is a wonderful idea and will definitely return if I ever need to work on my car again and don't have the proper equipment! read more

So i currently have my bmw 535 here amd i asked for them to flush my motor and we agreed that we were going to put inn another motor but i ended up wanting to go to another mechanic . But they took off my motor without my consent . And i am afraid they are taking pieces from my car . Honestly i am not one to put reviews . But , i have been 3 months now without a car and i cant even even take it out Because they took off my motor and they also want to charge me a fee of 1,200 just to take the car out (without) motor . Very disappointed, paid $2000+ for a transmission. Used but none-the-less my vehicle broke down on the way home. The staff promised me three deadlines yet the job was not done. Terrible customer service. They claimed to know how to repair my truck and had No clue how to perform the services properly and accurately , damaging my vehicle. They kept it for 5 weeks only to return it leaking fuel and said I how it works. Also place dirty oily parts on my front seats and floor. And and extra charge on at the end that I did not agree too. Spoke to Marcus, Reginald and Jr. worked on the car. Went there to have an oil leak seal fixed. Reginald gave a supposed timing belt job. Sprocket was forced in, boyfriend said something to him about it and Reginald replied, "We don't do Caveman around here" , it took him an hour and a half to set the timing. Charge was over 1000.00. Left for good for Tulsa at nighttime. On my way to Tulsa, and Four hours later, I got Oil Light. Stopped at Walmart 4 hours later and filled car with oil. Got to Tulsa, Oil light came on and had to fill up with oil. Marcus, from UDOIT stated: WE STAND BY OUR WORK; YOU DRIVE IT BACK DOWN HERE." We disputed the charges on the Debit Card. We could not drive it 8 hours back the way it was so we were told to hire a mechanic and he took photos of the job that they did. The pictures show how the sprocket was forced in and there were teeth missing where he had hit it. Marcus asked me, Ok, Well what do you think would be reasonable. I stated I will extend an Olive Branch and go half way. He said no, he does not do business like that. Since we could not drive the car back down from Tulsa then he could not see it even tho we had a Licenced Mechanic, A report, Photos and another invoice for 1000.00 that we had to pay to have the work redone. As a former Quality Control Specialist for a Major Airline, I find that the Customer Service tactics used is horrible, this place should be shut down immediately for their handling of customers and peoples issues. read more

UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT. UNPROFESSIONAL. CAR PICK UP DATE MOVED 3 TIMES. NO COMMUNICATION! NOT ONCE DID A MECHANIC OR THE OWNER RELAY ANY INFORMATION. When I first dropped off jeep, I was asked for my cell phone number, because in their words " we will be sending you updates on the status of your vehicle daily". I took my car in on 714/20 and told repairs would be done by Friday. I didn't receive an update until I took the initiative of calling myself an hour before closing time, and told that the car wouldn't be ready and they wouldn't know when it would be ready until Sunday. NO ONE CALLED. So on Sunday I called for an update again and was told my vehicle would be ready Tuesday NO LATER THAN Wednesday since another piece needed to be changed. Tuesday came and an hour before close time i still hadn't received a call, so when I called, I was told "I was on their call back list" but never actually contacted. I was told my car would be ready Wednesday 7/22. Again, by noon no one had called me so I called, and you GUESS IT! NOT READY! The excuse that day was that they have a small shop. Today Wednesday 7/23 my car is not in the shop where I originally took it, they don't have it ready and aren't able to call the customers because they " have a small shop" and when I asked to leave a message for the owner/manager they hung up on me. I was never told my car would be moved. The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is baffling. More over, after the owner moving my vehicle to another location for "faster service" wanted me to pick up my car from said location since i'd refused them to do anymore work on my truck. when i finally picked my car up 11 days after initial drop off the a/c which was the original problem is not working at full capacity. I was told that my engine's current severe rattling/shaking was due to a oxygen sensor and that is why the a/c is not working correctly and that is why it also isn't accelerating. When i brought up their moto "if it doesn't work you don't pay" I was told that when the oxygen sensor that according to them has nothing to do with the repairs they made would start working at full capacity. The owner marcus is taking no responsibility for an issue that arose after his mechanic dismantled the vehicle. I originally entrusted my vehicle for the good reviews I saw online, but don't be fooled. I'm not sure if its only the female customers that they take advantage of or everyone, but that is what my experience has been. If you need any car repairs, my suggestion would be to keep looking. read more

I spent 2800 and my car is still not running. The Adriana female is a scammer. I took my car to Helfman and long story short my head gasket are blown!!! my car is still not drivable and the owner Marcus is very aware she's not giving accurate information or diagnostics report. I stopped one of his mechanics because I wanted to know what was going on and he told me she told him not to put that my engine was not good and he suggested fur diagnostics. He stated, I can get everything fix but if the engine is gone the car is gone! The scammer was still trying to tell me other things besides my engine! worse service ever! I prefer to do my own oil changes, but it's Houston- it's hot as hell and doing anything on your car under jack stands is uncomfortable and frustrating. As if I didn't have enough excuses, my floor jack broke and I was irritated and about to just take it to someone else for convenience sake. My boyfriend found this place on google and it's just one of those "why has no one else thought of this" moments. Anyone who was in the military remembers the hobby shops and they just don't exist in the civilian world. Marcus is awesome and Tuesdays you can use the lift for an oil change for free (which is what I did). Just give them a call ahead of time and see if they have a bay open. They were super helpful and non-judgmental when I struggled to loosen the drain bolt or get the filter off and had tools to help me get it done. I cannot thank the guys here enough for one, simply existing and two being friendly and professional. They had everything I needed to get the job done quickly and hassle-free. read more

This place has no good customer service. When I went there to get my truck service it took the entire day for them to service my truck. "BAD SERVICE ". They have folks working for them who has NO idea of what to do. One of the guys who worked on my truck caused damage to my truck, and the manager there doesn't want to except responsibility. I took my truck here and not even a month later I was having the same issues I was having when, I went in the first time. So I went back to get the issue resolved and they gave me the run around. My truck stood there for over 3 days. Still not fix y'all. "BAD SERVICE ". After the run around and talking to several workers there my truck still not fix and all the shop manager offer me was a oil change. Made an appointment and took my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser to U DO IT Autorepair. In one hr I was able to change my oil and replace my brake pads on my own using the lift and tools provided. They lifted the vehicle for me to do the brake pad change and later raised it so I could complete my oil change. This is a great idea for the DIYer and saves you time and increases your level of safety. I was also able to inspect the underside of my vehicle thoroughly to see that there were no issues. They provide friendly professional service and I will be back again to change my transmission fluid soon. read more
