I've used several different hauling companies and David and his crew were the best. Two folks filled a 2/3 full truck in about 1-1.5hrs. It was a Holiday Monday and we had a ton of junk that I was hoping to get removed from our new place. Unfortunately they couldn't come but David took 15 minutes walking through every photo I sent him and we struck a price. I committed because their price seemed good and decided to wait and take then time to drive back first thing Wednesday morning an 1hr drive from our current place to this new home. Unfortunately - when his workers came and I showed them all the same things I wanted they quoted a verbal price that was a lot higher. I didn't know better but apparently the amount of materials was a lot more than Davids original quote. They called him and David held to the original price. Woah!! I personally value folks that keep to their word. His workers went off to work and we done in a flash. One of the folks told me at the end that they were losing money off this load but David specifically said he would keep to his promise. What I will say is I will come back to David and his folks here every time I have things to haul. I have trust that I will be getting honest pricing (and I won't be expecting such an exceptional deal next time!) I will also make recommendations to others and my two neighbors I know need work because I can trust they are dealing with an honest business. I was looking for a hauling service in the Vallejo area back in December 2022 and found this company along with some others accompanied with a heap of skepticism since a lot of them had all 5 star reviews. Well the other companies I reached out to either: 1) never called me back 2) were not flexible when it came to date/time 3) way to expensive Enter David with U Call. As soon as I called, I was greeted by David with a cordial attitude and sense of urgency and professionalism. Sought bids from inside the Yelp app to help clean up the area around a dumpster in Oakland before the main trash hauler comes to take the dumpster load away. These folks answered very quickly, communicated clearly (I gave them pictures beforehand, so that I think they were able to give me an accurate bid without being anxious that they were going to get more of a job than estimated)---and then worked a schedule with me within 48 hrs to show up in the afternoon. Their bid was in range with everyone else AND they responded coherently and lucidly. The before pics show the level of debris left by a previous tenant that we just wanted out of there; the post pics show how much they cleaned up and stuffed their hauling truck! There's still a little trash but that isn't there fault---that's just the stuff in the yard or slipping off the dumpster. Very pleased. Would use them again in a minute. read more

They had a contract with Alameda County Social Services to clean my condo. If I could give them a 0, I would. They were on time and started to immediately throw stuff around and away, including new items, items that were still good/usable (they left me with no shoes except the shoes on my feet). jewelry, and medicine (which was in my bathroom, where are you supposed to store your medicine?), calling it all junk. They went into areas without my permission and my presence. What i wanted/needed help with was also organizing my things. That is not what I got. They told me that's not what they do. I have now lost items that cannot be replaced and which I need and want. They did bring SOME of the brags back for me to go through, but not all; I am still many missing items which at this point I can never recover. They left my place more of a mess than it was before. They may be good for hauling stuff in your yard, but not cleaning inside. I continue to find things missing. And many cannot be replaced, I'm glad that I did not allow the men into my bedroom, i would have found my iPad and cell phone missing, What does he mean by finish the job? Empty my place? I was abusive? I don't think so. He was the one being abusive to me. He would start in and not stop "talking", the only way to stop him was to hang up on him. His one worker would also start talking and not take the hint to stop when i held up my hand. David still insists that he brought everything back. He did not, I still could not find what I was looking and for he kept insisting it was, that they were inside. I have told others about him and every single one agrees that what he did was totally wrong. One thing he needs to do is take lessons in how to work/talk with people, as do some of his men. There were things that I wanted to be given away, not thrown away, like clothes and books, Maybe I can find someone who can help me with what I need, someone will work with me to clean and organize my stuff, not someone who comes in and just throws everything away without looking at it. read more
