I've read other reviews where they mentioned that the food is a little bit more expensive than the other stands around Schwedenplatz, but we're talking just a few cents more. The pizzas and kebabs are very good. I even like to have a hot pepper on the side if I'm eating right there, with a can of cold beer.
The kebab meats are either chicken or veal. There is a variety of toppings that you can request, as usual. The difference here is that you can have your dürüm wrap toasted if you like. It reminds me of one of those huge Chipotle burritos back in the USA.
The pizzas are New York-style; thin crust pizza in which you'll have to fold over to eat. Though I suppose if you have them slice it into two or three pieces, that may not be necessary. They have the ubiquitous salami (what we call "pepperoni" in the states) toppings, as well as other kinds. Some might be a bit more unusual or different, such as bacon and fried egg, which is almost like a breakfast pizza. But if you're just coming out of a club late night after having a few drinks and have that buzz where you're hungry, it's perfect.
You can also get different kinds of wurst/sausages as well as have the option of eating it in a hot dog bun or sliced bread. They also have the local "Leberkäse", which is sort of like a thick bologna or Spam-type meatloaf that apparently the Viennese love.
I also like the fact that they have some big screen televisions where you can watch sports. What would make it better is if they showed American football on the local channels. But they do show soccer, especially when they had the World Cup this past summer.
Living in the 2nd district and being within walking distance of the U Box makes it very convenient for me. I'm just glad that I don't have to travel far in order to grab a bite to eat from this place.
