No one else made any order at the time and the sitting area was totally empty; we were the only people sitting. We were sitting with our son and had other food which we bought from a nearby shop. While our son was eating, one of workers asked me to come to him and said that we got just one order and we were sitting eating food from outside his restaurant in a very impolite way and asked us to leave instantly in a very racist and rude way. Consequently, we all left at once, even before our son finished eating. We'll never eat again at the place and will tell all our acquaintances NEVER to go to a place where people are treated unequally.

The waiters were extremely rude and dismissive, especially towards tourists and foreigners. Their attitude made us feel unwelcome from the moment we sat down, and it was clear they had no interest in providing even basic courtesy. It's a shame, because the food deserves recognition, but the hostile and unprofessional service makes it hard to recommend this place to anyone. Until management addresses how their staff treats customers, I would advise looking elsewhere--you'll find plenty of good pizza in the city without the side of hostility. By the way, tip is included for this terrible experience. Save your time, do somewhere else.

The one thing about the salad is that they just bring you balsamic vinegar and olive oil to use as your dressing. I didn't ask them if they had any other type of salad dressing. They are probably only around 10 table on the inside plus a couple tables outside. It's located on a really beautiful little street in the 9th district so it's nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather and ambience. There was only one waiter so service was pretty slow. The menu is pretty limited too. My table ordered a branzino pasta, branzino fillet and a calamari pasta but the kitchen somehow ran out of calamari and shrimp so the third pasta also ended up coming with branzino. Too. Much. Branzino. The food itself was good but nothing spectacular. For a restaurant with the name "La Pasteria", I expected to be blown away by their pasta. I expected more options to and for it to taste phenomenal but there were only like 5 options and they were just... good. The best part of the meal was probably the complimentary appetizer: tomato and mozerella soup served in a cute little cup- perfect for dipping bread into. Overall a-okay. Not bad if you're in the neighborhood and craving Italian, but would not go out of my way to eat here again.
