The ambiance inside is great, but sitting outside and enjoying a warm spring evening is just the best. The pizzas are baked in a rustic wood fire oven that gives it the perfect crust. A bit crunchy, but chewy, thin and full of flavor. The toppings are creative and harmonic. The size is decent! We chose the Estevia which had a huge Burrata cheese with arugula, pine nuts and fresh tomatoes. It was so extremely good. Unbelievably! The staff is great and very attentive. I will be back soon for sure. I need to try their bestseller: Figs, goat cheese and honey. It already sounds like heaven. I highly recommend this place and all of their gorgeous pizzas.

Yeah, that was the day my friend and I had in Vienna a couple weeks ago. As we made our way back to the hotel, we tried and failed repeatedly to find open eateries still serving food. We would've settled for gas station grub, but that didn't even seem to be an option! Eventually, as we reached the same block as our hotel, we noticed someone working in Pizzeria Riva Italia, so we walked in to inquire as to if they were still open or not. They weren't. They had closed an hour prior. But the SUPER nice guy working asked us what we wanted and said he'd whip up a pizza of our choice. We quickly decided on the four cheese and he got right to making it...with a smile! What!! Aside: I love Vienna. I think the city is just incredible and I've never met such a friendly local population. So anyway, as my friend and I waited, we decided to pool for a big tip. This guy deserved it! So that's what we did a moment later when our hot, delectable pizza was ready to go. Except he wasn't having it. He ordered us to take canned sodas to go too!! We brought our food back to the hotel and basically inhaled it. Every bite was totally delicious...and the experience was made even better by the selfless, friendly guy working that night. I was staying in a hotel not far from here, and found the German reviews for this place on Yelp…read more Granted, I haven't had too many doner kebab sandwiches - but this is easily the best one I've had, and I would come back often if I lived in Vienna. At first, I wasn't sure how to order, but the guy pointed out a paper menu on the counter. The menu is all in German, but if you don't speak German just pick a sandwich and it will be good! They sell doner kebab sandwiches and wraps, as well as pizzas, which looked quite tasted. They heated up the bread for our sandwiches in the pizza oven, so it was toasty and crispy. One of the guys working there spoke a bit of English, and was able to easily ask us what we wanted on our sandwiches (get everything - but be warned that the "spicy" powder is indeed spicy, so tread carefully unless spice is your thing.) We got the sandwiches to go for 3 euro each, and left full and happy.
