BE CAREFUL! Sat 6/19/26 agreed to a cash purchase of $40584.50 plus TTL and finding out I still would be required to pay Co title fees based off msrp $45053 plus the 4.75% tax I decided not to do the contract. I didn't want the car costing approx 43k after TTL as I addressed with John & Andrew. I had originally agreed to pick up car 6/20 as I left $3000 down payment and was to pay balance with cashier check balance $37584.50. 6/20 early morning I called to asked about the fees and they told me misinformation. However I made the trip all the way down there because I was given wrong information on the fees. 6/20 I went to the dealer to cancel the contract due to the price. The dealer offered me a better deal and I then agreed to use my $3000 paid on Friday as a down payment. The dealer had a better discount & rebate if I financed with Honda. I signed preliminary paperwork for cost of car TOTAL @ $39434.50. I reviewed contract it appears dealer changed the cost to $40299.50 plus 35.00 title registration fee. This total from the document I signed is exactly over by $900.00 there fore the rebate from Honda is a wash! I sent email to dealer the same evening that I financed the car after the discrepancies' were caught. Andrew had offered me an extra $500 off from dealer and if finance he had better car deal to get the car lowered with a Honda rebate of $900. I felt rushed when I financed papers it was taking so long for the finance paperwork. My credit score is great @ 789 so I don't know what was going on. Therefore my amount to be financed upon our discussion should have been $37371.48 but instead I was charged $382305.98. The total of this is the difference of 934.50 as sneaky charge making it appear as if it is the 899.00 and 35.00 fee. Basiclly they snuck this fee in there as "total other charges and amounts paid to others on your behalf" and are trying to justify it but it is very clear on paperwork. I'm disappointed because I live in Denver co & made the trip three times to Wyoming in good faith. I went 6/24 back within 72 business hours to go over all the documentation with GM Jim something just didn't feel right. I have the original paperwork from the cash offer. 6/24 I spoke to Andrew and he agreed that he could write me a chekc @ 900.00 but then said no he did not see that now. I had to drive back up there and nothing got resolved with GM Jim here because I was given wrong information on the fees. The $934.50 is a sneaky charge I didn't agree to it added back into car price again. In the long run I paid the $900.00 extra to dealer as $40584.50 cash price *4.75 % tax = $42511 and dealer priced me $40,299.50 *4.75 tax = $42170.98 then added $35.00 for total 0f $42205.98. Long story short I did not get the $900.00 back. read more

Just received service from Tyrrell Honda. On a road trip and Jonathan in Service squeezed me in when 3 other dealers would not accommodate. Well worth the drive to Cheyenne, which was a slight detour on my way to Mt Rushmore. Tyrrell did great work on my Ridgeline, possessed excellent customer service, fast, accommodating (sincerely appreciate this!), and good pricing. If I lived local, they would be the only place I did service. It's obvious why they have 4 star rating (underrated for sure). They have a nice selection of vehicles to purchase as well. There service department is an unorganized mess. Set an appointment and show up only to be told no appointment on the books and part for a serious recall is not available. I had specificcally asked about the part because I am in a few owners groups and had heard there were delays. I was told they would call me if the part wasn't in. No call....then they acted like I should have called their parts department to confirm the parts availability. Isn't that their job??? During prior recall appointment for another issue the young boy/service writer made me feel like my 2019 CRVs issues were my fault, I was driving too slow??? I don't buy cars from there because they overcharge... I was going to service my car there but not now! read more

I was on a solo road trip back to CA when I experienced issues with my car. A Good Samaritan who assisted me in getting my car running again directed me to Tyrrell Honda. It was a Saturday when I finally arrived around 12:30 they were still open (thank goodness). Jonathan was incredibly helpful & kept me updated on the status of my car. About 1.5 hours later...car was ready & running smoothly & freshly washed. We had a check engine light come on 3 days into our cross-country trip, about 100 miles from Cheyenne in the middle of nowhere. We were able to make it to the city and showed up at Tyrell at 8am on a Saturday. They diagnosed the problem, replaced a malfunctioning part and even cleaned our gross windshield for a very reasonable price. They were helpful and courteous and answered all my questions. After a reasonable wait, we were back on the road the same morning! read more

Took my car in for service on 9/11/14. Got new wipers, new battery, new front brakes and oil change. The customer service was good and the staff were friendly. The only two complaints I have is one they forgot to change the back wiper blade and the other issue is when I came home I had some oil leaking under my car. The leak stopped after a day. All the caps were on and nothing looked wrong. I'm not sure if they overfilled it or what...but despite these two issues, I still would get my car serviced here. I'm sure things will be better next time. read more

Drove 2 and half hours to Cheyenne for a recall issue and to get my rear tires checked. Recall issue taken care of and found a nail in one of the tires. After I drove 2 and half hours to my home, still had issues with the other tire and another dealership found a nail in the tread. Called service department, the manager didn't seem to care and then I called the to speak to the manager of the dealership and I was put on hold. I drove specially to this location because I heard it was a good place. I had my family with me, what if my tire would've blown on my home? They didn't do a proper inspection and didn't seem to care afterwards. If you have a Honda and need recall issues fixed you have to go to Honda. But I recommend going somewhere else for services. read more

My Nissan needed an inspection for an oil leak. The guys at Honda found the problem which was from the other place where I got my oil change from. Did not charge for the diagnostic, just for the refill of the oil. Very friendly employees. Great job to Honda! read more

While traveling through Cheyenne, we began experiencing car trouble. We took the car to Tyrrell-Doyle on a Saturday morning, where it literally died as we drove in the garage. We were greeted by the service rep, Geoffrey, who explained the mechanic was off on Saturdays, but would evaluate the problem and call us later. Geoffrey called within a couple hours to let us know that, as my husband suspected, the alternator had gone out. Geoffrey called around Cheyenne to locate the part and arranged for the mechanic to come in on his day off to make the repair. By 1:00 p.m., the car was ready and the cost was extremely reasonable. We were very impressed and grateful that Geoffrey (and the mechanic who agreed to come in) made it possible to get our car repaired so we would not be delayed until Monday waiting for an auto repair. I highly recommend this dealer for their excellent customer service - they went way above and beyond to help us out! read more

Have not used them as of yet. I am going to go over and talk to them. I live in Laramie and have a Hyundai and have had nothing but problems re to another dealership in Cheyenne. I talked to a gal that works at Verizon and she told me to go talk to the folks at Tyrrell as they are the best of the best and really help you out and give you good service. Well I went there a few times. The first time was to purchase 2 Honda's from them in August 2016 and they refused to do business with me or my wife. We were paying basically with cash. The were very pushy in financing internally with them when we didn't want it. So we went to another Honda dealership and spent about 65K for 2 vehicles. Then today I was forced to get a tire fixed on my Honda HR-V (Had less then 3K on the Vehicle). My original dealership requested that I go there since it was the closet one to us. We went in an spoke to service and knew we had to use the tire manufacturers warranty to fix it. The service personal told us that they could only work on vehicles that were purchased thru them. I spoke to Honda directly afterwards and they told that was not true. So needless to say I am really not sure why they don't want to deal with some people and not others. We were more than willing to buy a new tire and get reimbursed from the manufacturer. read more
