***UPDATE**** I was contacted almost immediately from the service department manager or service department general manager Jim and he said he wanted to make things right and give me $150 check. It is almost the end of September and Ive yet to receive anything. Im very disappointed in the service. Im so disappointed that I took my Acadia to grease monkey to get an oil change just to be treated and valued like a loyal customer with them. Again, the only top notch service I have had at this place is with CAMERON. - The only good thing about my experience this go around was Cameron in the service department. He is the best! He tries to accommodate his customers and is great with communicating with you. I had to wait from 6/13-7/20 for them to get one part in for my acadia. I didnt get a loaner vehicle until late July which I barely drove because the check engine light was on and the plates were expired. I wasnt offered a discount for the inconvenience or anything. I was originally told the turn around time was 3-4 days. It was difficult to get around especially having three small children. Cameron was the only one who seemed to care and was the only one apologetic. I give him 5 stars, but everything else -1. I give a lot of business to this dealership and I am disappointed to say the least. Apparently they had offered a $150 discount to my fiancé but that was not honored. Several months ago I had about 4K of work done to my vehicle and come there for all of my routine maintenanceI guess you could say that I expected more from them. I am thinking next time that I may go somewhere else locally or go to Colorado. I did express my gratitude to Camerons service manager for Camerons hard work, efforts to get my part in asap, and his customer service. Bought a vehicle there a year ago. Time to trade it in for a bigger vehicle because the family is growing. Come to find out it has structural damage that happened to be the frame. I was never disclosed and told about this once when I was buying it or else I never would have bought it. It should be their job to disclose anything about a vehicle they're trying to sell. I've been to dealerships that have openly told me about issues with a vehicle. Now I'm basically screwed with a crazy roll over price for a bigger vehicle. I owe $14k and I've only been offered $6k-$8k for it. $8k being offered from Halladay even with their screw up. Looking into my rights and options now. read more

The day it arrived I set up a time to go see it. A few minutes later and I was told sorry it already sold. How do you tell people to come to look at a vehicle and then sell it before they even get a chance to look at it? I was then told maybe in a few more months we may have something for you. I needed somewhere to park my truck for 3 days over the holiday break. I had stopped at two dealerships beforehand who couldn't help me or didn't have room. I saw the Nissan dealership and figured they could help me with their big lot. I went inside and waited for a couple minutes trying to find someone who could help me. Eventually one of the salemen, Jerry Christ, came to help me. Without going into details, it was a very poor example of how to treat a customer. He was rude at best. I left telling myself 2 things. 1. I will never buy a vehicle, ever, from Halladay Motors group. 2. I will never buy a Nissan, ever. Its hard to explain how poorly the salesman made me feel after just asking a general simple question. Thankfully, there are dealerships in the area who have better customer care. Well, the service is definitely something here. While traveling across country (Orlando to Portland) we got stuck here in Cheyenne with problems on our truck. Now, while I can't say anything about the price right now since they are still working, they got us in immediately and even let me sit in the lobby with my cat (who was traveling with us) without even blinking an eye. Everyone has been really nice with the exception of the admin lady who could really stand to smile once in a while. For the crappy reputation that Dealer Repair Shops get, these guys break the mold. Called at 836a, asked about an oil change. Desk said they could get me in now, I said I'd be by in a few minutes. On arrival at 850a, the check in process was straight forward, and I was seen within 90 secs. The man was dressed in uniform, and was clean shaven. He said several vehicles were ahead of me, and it would be 30 min before they would start, and 30 min for the oil change. He said my vehicle should fit their standard fee for an oil change, which was $36.95. I drive a 2006 honda civic w 71000 miles on it. The customer lounge was clean with ample seating, a 26" flat screen tv, a snack machine and a soda machine. There was free coffee. The cashier didn't know if wifi was available. I got full 3G signal on my droidx running on the verizon network. My car was on the lift being serviced within 30min. I'm driving from virginia. The staff was courteous. A customer seemed to disagree with something and was discussing with the cashier. The cashier calmly held whatever position she had, saying something along the lines that what the customer wanted could not be accommodated while being fair to their business. The technician advised to change the air filter, and offered this service. He did not pressure me when I said I might take care of that later down the road. The service was finished in less than the estimated time, and at the agreed cost. I was offered free shuttle service during my wait. Shuttles leave every 30 min. read more

They will lie to you about the issues with the car so they can sell it at a higher price. I bought a 2010 Jeep that should've been able to last more than 10 years but not a year later it was deemed nearly worthless because of the damage they never mentioned. I specifically asked if there was going to be any larger repairs, if any work was needed to be done on it, and not a word was mentioned of the cracked transfer case, the damaged TMPS, ruined shocks and springs, and more. They do not care about getting you into a safe car, they care about pulling as much money as possible out of you. read more

Halladay Motors Advertising = Junk Mail Scam! Halladay mails you a large color flier with a game piece. You uncover the game piece's tabs and it shows that you've won a really nice prize (in my case a 55" TV.) You call to verify and they say "Yes, you're a winner. Stop by the dealership to claim your prize." They won't tell you anything about the prize(s) or answer any questions over the phone. When you stop by the dealership, they say that the game piece is for illustrative purposes only (i.e., it's meaningless.) To win, you have to match a small numeric code printed on your flier, and of course your number doesn't match. Halladay certainly won't earn my business with such misleading / deceptive practices. If I can't trust the straightforwardness and integrity of Halladay's advertising, why on earth would I trust their sales or service? read more

Received an email from Halladay Nissan about their "trade in" program saying they will take my 2017 Nissan Versa which is high demand and offered to buy it or trade it at ABOVE book value!! Last week I finally got a 705 score on Experian, I told them my car has a insurance claim pending hitting a raccoon he said no problem, These salesman have a carnival training! Instead of getting a lower interest loan they put in Nissan Finance which probably they get a commission, then tried to stick me with almost $3000 In gap insurance and another type of insurance, salesman said take the car home and come back tomorrow! They took it off and suprise suprise on the first paper I signed roughly $22,000 Wy sales tax) trade in value $9091 and read it throughly, I am 57 and far-sighted no bifocals the next paper was in a slightly smaller font (Letters, I made copies )$5561 trade in added on! While I signed the other paperwork minor INTENTIONAL distractions from salesman to my left and manager in front the next papers were placed a little farther back on the desk to sign I had to reach over a bit more. My fault for trusting people, I didn't catch that til Saturday. I brought the car back today and get my Nissan but a never ending tirade I gave up. They make it look like it was my fault! Being on Workers Comp disability there is no way I could pay the extra $5561 on the loan! My Credit is going in the 600's for the next 7 years. Best advice when it comes to contracts read all the print nothing verbally was mentioned about my trade in on the paperwork I signed. In summary I cant afford to be paying !! Or 1&1/2 cars. I guess the Coronavirus slowed business down boosted high pressure sales tactics! I made an appointment for my Nissan Rogue to have a (fuel gauge/miles remaining display) problem. Upon arriving, I asked the service advisor to have the mechanic talk to me because of the unusual nature of the problem. The service advisor suggested that the problem could be caused by the gasoline? The mechanic never appeared. Forty-five minutes later, the service advisor advised me that there was "no problem found." I again asked to talk to the mechanic. The service advisor said I could not talk to the mechanic because he was on another job that would last "all day". I then asked to speak to the service manager. The advisor said that he/she was the service manager at the moment. I'm very frustrated now. The advisor was obviously lying. I asked the advisor to supply me information about who writes their liability policy. At this point the advisor went back into the office and a few minutes later appeared with the service manager. He looked at the service request and noted that the service request did not describe the problem that I had brought the vehicle in for. He suggested I make another full day appointment to address the real problem. I don't doubt that their mechanics are proficient, but their customer relations need improvement. I don't have any confidence in returning to this dealership for service. read more

I originally wanted to test drive a 2014 Denali that they had on their lot, shown on TrueCar and on their online inventory. I emailed Rebekah Foster and she assured me that the vehicle would be ready for me to look at that evening. Drove 40 miles with kids in tow... only to show up and find them scrambling to find the truck that I wanted to look at. Of course, I was annoyed that they didn't have it sitting there waiting for me since I had communicated 4hrs prior that I would be up there @6pm. Turns out they sold it "earlier" that day. This was very disappointing, restless kids and S.O. were getting impatient and we wanted to just get out of there. They ended up having a 2015 with similar/better features and less miles than the 2014. I took it for a test drive, but then had to leave. After dinner I realized that I had left my wallet in the truck after handing Chris, the sales guy, my DL for a copy. The dealership was closed and I was forced to drive up the next morning. The S.O. and I discussed the 2015 and decided that there was a certain pricepoint that could get us in that truck. Headed up the next morning and talked with Kenneth, he was there at 8:30 right when they opened. Retrieved my wallet and gave them my make or break offer. They came back at $450 more. Told him, lets do it and they got to work with paperwork and detailing of the truck. At this time, the sales guy from the previous night showed up, Chris. Young guy with absolutely 0 amounts of professionalism. I was sitting right there talking to Kenneth and Chris was discussing commission with him and whether or not they were going to split it and asking if he could take over. Kenneth kept a calm demeanor and asked him to be professional. Personally, if it were up to me, I would not let Chris have any of the sale. Kenneth was very helpful and easy to work with. Chris was like talking to a teenager, and at one point during the test drive the night before asked if I wanted to "do a burn out" while I had my family sitting in the back seat. One other complaint I have is with Rebekah the internet sales person... through all of this, after communicating via email and on the phone and being assured that the 2014 was ready for me to look at, she never once acknowledged me, said hi, shook a hand or anything... on top of that, no apology from her on the mix up, not even an email, phone call, text message.... nothing. I think they may have known that had they not had the 2014 on the lot, I would not have come up. Well, their trick worked and I did end up with the more expensive truck. On that note, I love the truck! I have payments in my budget, I feel like I got it for the right price and couldn't love it more. But really Halladay, get your Sh$t together. read more

The first time I went here was fine, they replaced my sensor and my car was working fine. Not long after the same sensor was acting up again so I called them. Went in for a SENSOR problem that "had been replaced" and ended up paying for another full diagnostic. If I could give them zero stars, I would!! I own a Buick and have had it in to Halladay's Buick Service Dept twice now. The first time, they had my car all day and when we went to pick it up, they had not even taken it into the garage to look at it. They pulled it in while my husband stood there and quickly looked it over just to tell us they didn't know what was wrong with it. Today we had an appointment for 8am. At 1:30, we called for a status update and they had not even looked at it yet. We called back at 4pm and they told us they had not looked at it yet and wouldn't get to it until tomorrow then asked if they could just keep it overnight and they promised to look at it first thing in the morning. If I didn't need a car, I wouldn't have it in the shop to have it fixed!!! This evening, I had to inconvenience a family member to go pick up my car because I NEED MY CAR tomorrow. I say TWO STRIKES, YOU'RE OUT! I guess I will drive to Colorado to have my car looked at just like so many people must do for so many things. It is sad that we are ever forced to leave our own community to get competent service. One would think the businesses in Cheyenne would try a little harder to provide the residents of this fine community excellent customer service. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! They "fixed" my Cadillac. They kept it for 6 weeks, while I had to pay for rentals out of pocket. My car was stolen from me. I live in Las Vegas, it was recovered in Wyoming. When the car was returned to me they left the car trashed, from the criminals that stole it from me. They left all of their clothes, and belongings in the car for me to throw away. It was already an awful experience being robbed. Then having to clean up after the person who robbed me was even worse. On top of that they installed my trunk on crooked, the que now no longer works after getting it back, the windshield wipers do not work, YOU CANT PUT GAS IN THE CAR THE SENSORS BROKEN, the paint job they did is awful, there are so many countless damages to the car. I took it to a Cadillac dealership in Las Vegas and they were shocked! Direct quote from the Las Vegas dealership "As long as Halladay had my car, they should have been able to build me a new car from the ground up." The least they could do was fix it. They had no problem billing my insurance company and not fixing anything. HORRIBLE. read more

We received a coupon AND price of services ad in the mail. $29.99 oils change up to 6 qts.(THIS WAS NOT A COUPON) When I went into dealership the $29.99 oil change was posted on the board. Brakes Plus DID have a coupon for $24.99, but my husbands likes going to the dealership= NEVER AGAIN, at least at this dealership. I took about 40 mins, no carwash, device 'advisor' kept pushing us to get a rotation (we have NEW tires). Then we get the bill $50.87. ($14.99 for 6 19293003 DEXS530, 1 19303974 (S) FILTER, AND $30.00 LABOR!!!!) I paid the bill, then asked how much his oil changes usually cost at Halladay. MY HUSBAND CALLED THE DEALERSHIP (He has stage 4 bone cancer) was dismissed my some female who said she'd call back, never did. My son is getting the truck and I will preach to him if it isn't under warranty DO NOT GO TO A DEALERSHIP! There also were NO instructions to pull into garage, which bay to use, and I had to go in and get a service advisor. AND at the bottom of the slip was a 'RECOMMEND OIL COOLER LINERS- $106.48 PLUS 2.1 HRS OF LABOR' That is very misleading because 2.1 hrs of labor added would be make the cost at least $500. I guess there is an unlisted surcharge to pay for the recent remodel. read more

While traveling across country from Illinois for a family funeral our 2011 Chevy Traverse (103,xxx miles) had a leak in the A/C unit. We went to the Chevy garage in Rawlins,WY on Friday, August 5, 2016. This garage diagnosed the problem, but did not have the part on hand and could not get it until Monday. (they charged us $100+ to diagnose). We then called Halladay Motors in Cheyenne where we would be on Monday and they did have the part and could get our vehicle in for the replacement of the hose. We dropped the vehicle off Sunday evening and at 11:30 on Monday we received a call that the vehicle was fixed. We were charged 3.5 hours labor and all they had to do was replace the part and maybe recharge the unit. Needless to say when we were given a bill of $624+ we were flabbergasted to say the least. No diagnostics was performed, we had given the part number and were called barely over the 3.5 hour mark from when the garage opened. This bill really re-affirmed our idea that when you are over a barrel you will be screwed. read more

I have shopped for used cars at this dealer, purchased a vehicle from this dealer, and had vehicles serviced at this dealer. With regard to shopping for used cars, the inventory has usually been made up of vehicles I would not want to buy and is generally lower quality than the other brand name dealers on Westland Road. I think most of the used cars on their lot would be auctioned by other brand name dealers. The one vehicle I did buy they brought in from another dealer for me to look at based upon specifications I gave them. That worked out pretty well, but I think most of their sales folks fit the "used car salesman" stereotype. As for service, I have had mixed results. For general maintenance, they are reasonably priced, reasonably prompt, and seem to do a fine job. I took a vehicle (the one I bought from them) in with a significant problem (a broken weld in the suspension) once. They had to farm it out to another shop to get it fixed because they did not have anyone with the necessary welding skills to repair it. It was time consuming, but at least they were honest about it and didn't try to have someone fix it that didn't know what they were doing. read more

I recently was interested in a used 2013 F-250 Lariat. I arrived at the dealership and was looking at the vehicle I was interested in when I was approached by a salesman from the used vehicle department. I informed him that a friend of mine told me that I could speak with a mister Colter Anderson. He retrieved Mr Anderson and I went on a test drive and loved the vehicle. I explained to Mr Anderson that I wanted to run some numbers to see what they would give me for my trade in which was on a 2005 Ford F-350 Lariat. My vehicle was inspected by and individual from the used vehicle department and Mr Anderson stated the this individual would run the numbers for my trade-in. I received a call from Mr Anderson who stated that the price for the 2013 F-250 would be $22,484 out the door which didn't include taxes and fees. I asked how much was my trade in worth and he stated $9,000. I was excited about this news. After three days of talking to my bank for a loan for the $22,484 that was about to get approved, Mr Anderson called me and asked if I was going to still put the $8,000 down on top of the trade in value for the vehicle. I was upset because Mr Anderson never mentioned an $8,000 deposit on top of the trade-in value of $9,000. No paperwork was ever shown to me with the purchase details. To make a long story short I had to contact my bank and cancel my loan request which wasted many man hours. read more

Stay AWAY from the body shop!! After a minor incident I recieved a reasonable estimate from the Halladay Motors Collision and Repair. I recieved my car back with a huge ding in the right fender, which after I confronted them, they agreed to repair for free. It was 2 1/2 months before they could begin working on my car. After a 2 1/2 month wait I dropped my car off for the scheduled appointment time and was informed it would be ready in approx 3 days. After 3 days I had not heard from them, so called to check on the status. They informed me that the car was scheduled to be painted the next day and be ready to pick up the day after that. By the 5th day I had again not heard anything so called to see what time I could pick up the car. They then informed me that the car had not only NOT been painted, but had NOT been repaired at all, as they had not yet received the parts. When questioned as to why the parts had not arrived since they had the previous 2 1/2 months to get them, the manager offered little explaination and stated she could not gaurentee when the parts would arrive. 4 days following this conversation I was able to pick up my car. The "detail" job was poor and there was armorall on the windows. Additionally, the paint job was SO poorly done that there is a clear and obvious spot on the front fender that was either missed or the paint came off. I will NEVER use this company again for anything, and would NOT recommend taking your vehicle here. read more
