Gas that leaked from under my truck into my garage and across my driveway.

I took my 2023 Tundra in to get a safety recall completed. There was an issue with the fuel line rubbing and potentially starting a fire. They had my truck all day for a two hour fix after I brought my truck in for my 8:30 AM appointment. When I got the truck home later in the evening, I noticed a gas smell. I couldn't see anything, but in the morning the gas smell had permeated into the house. When I backed my truck up out of the garage, multiple gallons of fuel spilled everywhere in my garage and across my driveway. It turns out when they performed the safety recall, they reused the clamp on the fuel line and it either broke or wasn't attached properly. They had my truck towed to the shop the next morning, and apologized profusely. They promised to top the gas tank off, wash the underside of the truck, and send someone out to pressure wash my garage and driveway. They again had my truck the entire day and not did not return it until after 6 PM. While they did top off the gas tank, they did not clean the underside of the truck, and they have reneged on their promise to send someone out to pressure wash my garage and driveway. It took a few days for the gas smell to get out of my house, and it's still very strong in the garage over a week later. While I understand mistakes happen, there has been absolutely no follow through on their part to make it right. And the service people acted like I was bothering them when I would call to find out what the status of things was. Totally unprofessional.

This review is to highlight the negligence that exists at Ken Garff Toyota. We've purchased three vehicles from this dealer and in one way or another, the service department always finds a way to absolutely destroy the paint on each vehicle. For context, we always ask them to NOT wash our vehicles when we bring them in for a service. They don't hand wash vehicles and they have "professional detailers" that don't know the first thing about washing a vehicle properly. Well, each time they got their hands on one of our vehicles, they inevitably destroy the paint with scratches and micro swirls by running it through the wash without pressure washing first. A few days ago, they got our third vehicle. I spoke to the service manager and he first tried to say that his car wash wasn't the issue. I explained that it certainly was the issue due to the lack of pressure washing prior to sending it through the wash. As dirty as my vehicle was when I brought it in for service, why would someone look at that and immediately put it through the wash? Use some common sense. There's absolutely zero standards in overall car care at this dealership. See for yourself in the pictures in my review. Unfortunately I don't have pictures from the second vehicle they ruined, but it was similar to how bad the green one was.

May 26, 2016- I bought a brand new vehicle from this dealership. June 1, 2016- I took the vehicle to the service center because it was pulling to the left. They re-aligned the vehicle and I left. June 3- vehicle still pulling, made an appointment for June 8 June 8, 2016- took vehicle in. They re-aligned the vehicle and found a safety bulletin requiring the rims and tires be replaced. At the same time, they found an oil leak that had been there since before I drove away. The leak was coming from the crankshaft seal, or so they thought. They looked through their internal records and discovered that this seal had been replaced on this vehicle once before (it was in their loaner fleet). So they replaced the seal, again, but that did not solve the leak. They determined it was the cam shaft actuator that was causing the leak. June 8, 2016- I went to the dealership and asked if I could exchange the vehicle for a more expensive one. They told me that I would have to trade in my purchase to do so. They would give me $15000 for my trade, which was half of the sale price that I paid 2 weeks prior. So, my BRAND NEW car has been in the shop for 1/3 of the time that I have owned it. They will only give me half the value of the purchase or I have to drive a car that I don't trust. I am currently trying to resolve this issue but I doubt the dealership will help considering the Customer Experience Manager, Jim Mossey, would not talk to us when we asked to speak to him. UPDATE!! I spoke with Dallas and he took care of everything. They figured out how to take the defective car and roll back the loan. Then they helped me get into an even better car that I love!! Amazing customer service!
