Since I've moved to Fort Scott, 2 and a half wars ago, I've only ever used this location to clean my vehicles, both wash and vacuuming. Tonight I stopped by to empty random accumulated trash items and to vacuum my passenger side of my truck when, I'm guessing is the owner, approached me and asked if I needed quarters. I didn't need his quarters so I told him no thanks that I was throwing away some stuff at the moment. He gave me a ridiculous look so naturally I asked if that was okay that I cleaned my truck. With quite the attitude he said he'd rather me not. At this point I let him know that I've been a customer here for awhile, the only place I go, and that I've always came and got my truck washed and vacuumed my interior. He went on about if I'm going to do this that I need to be a customer and that he is trying to run a business. And made it a point to assume I was trash using his garbage bins, amongst other things throughout the conversation. I understand the concern. But if your going to treat your customers like that then there is absolutely no point in me doing business here. It's been a long time since someone disrespected me like that tonight. Why couldn't he ask if I planned on using the vacuums instead of assuming I wasn't going to use them? I mean, normal people throw stuff away before they clear larger items out of the way to vacuum the flooring, right?
If you are having that much of a problem with non-customers that you feel the need to be disrespectful to others, then it's probably a sign that you should take more extreme measures in protecting your garbage cans from being used.
Due to the owners interaction with me, I won't ever use this location again. Typhoon Bay you lost a loyal customer, not that my business makes a huge difference to you, but hopefully this will open your eyes on how to treat your remaining customers. read more
