Why am I just discovering that in this fabulous city where everything delivers, you can get a Christmas tree delivered, too?! My life is infinitely better for this. Ordering online was painless- pick your tree size, decorated or not decorated, delivery date and 3-hour delivery frame... then pay and await the arrival! I found a promo code online so there was a nice discount on our order- definitely do a quick Google search before paying to see if you can get a deal. The day before delivery we got a email reminding us to clear space and explain how delivery timing would work. The delivery guy called 10 minutes before he arrived. He brought the tree in already in the stand, plopped it down in our desired location, asked for a quarter-gallon of water so it could drink up, since it had a fresh cut, and that was that! Entry to exit he was in our apartment for maybe 5 minutes and super nice. The tree is very symmetrical and has a really straight, tapered trunk that's perfect for putting a star on. Funny I never wrote a yelp review but TT knows that I love them. I have used their service for about 3 years, with this one being my 4th. Doesnt get any easier to order your tree, along with any extras, wait for their heads up prior to arriving during the delivery window, and then watch them set up your fresh tree in a stand with a tree skirt. They now have an option to decorate for you but I think that takes away the fun for the kiddos. I will be using the removal service for the first time this year so I will update on that later. I've used this company for a Xmas tree a few years ago and had a good experience. However, I stopped buying trees for my tiny apartment once I realized I could decorate way better by hanging garlands across my windows and doorways. I usually just find the garlands at a local street vendor. They are usually thick enough to wrap lights around and hang ornaments off of. I use them as a sort of ambient Xmas tree effect This year I moved to a larger apartment and realized I finally had space for a tree again, so of course I decided to use Tyler's Trees. My tree comes on Wednesday, so this review isn't for that. But I realized they were also selling garlands, and since I moved and don't know where the street vendors are yet in my new area, I decided to order some from them. Also, 25 feet of garland is usually quiet an arm full and can be tiring to carry home. I paid $50 for this garland, or should I say a few sticks wrapped together. It came today and it's so thin and anemic, I could use it like a frisbee. I could run a marathon while holding it above my head. Wrapped in a circle, I would assume it was maybe 3 feet of garland. I can't even bring myself to undo the circle it's wrapped in because it's the size of a small wreath as is and I just don't even want to see what it looks like unraveled if it's 25 feet long. It's just some twigs with pine needles on it. It takes a lot for me to be offended by costs and expenses these days as a long-time NYCer, but I am thoroughly offended that they sold this to me for $50. It's a tough year, and I was looking forward to decorating things. Thank you Tyler's Trees for taking $50 of my money for pretty much nothing. It's really brightened up my holiday cheer. read more

The entire process was super easy from payment to delivery and customer service was helpful when I had to change my appointment. When my tree arrived, the delivery person set everything up and offered to trim some areas so that it would fit in the space perfectly. Tyler's trees is a godsend! My girl lives in a fifth floor walk-up in the Bronx. The last thing I or she wants to do is drag a tree up all those stairs. Much less have the trouble of shopping for the tree, strapping it to the car, and finding a parking place at either the tree place or in front of the apt. building. Tyler's does everything for you. They pick the tree, deliver it right into your home or apartment, set it up, and you can even arrange for them to come back, take it down, wrap it up and dispose of it afterward (a service well worth the extra cost). The trees are beautiful! No worries about getting a sad looking skimpy tree, they are quite full and top of the line. Although there is an extra deliver fee for outside Manhattan and an extra fee for disposal, overall the time and great deal of effort you save (especially if you live in a walk-up) the cost is not outrageous, and their service from ordering through disposal and their willingness to go out of their way to make the customer happy, makes this a bargain in my opinion. This is the third Christmas I have ordered from them, and each time my girl was thrilled by the tree. I highly recommend giving them a try! read more

If you want them to have their interior designer give it a 5-star makeover and lights, they'll do that for a fee also. My roommates and I were so excited to get our tree and even more excited that we had two guys carrying it up our building stairs/ who will take it away after Christmas so we don't have to do it :) I highly recommend this company and service. Saturday afternoon, I found Tyler's Trees and placed an order. Sunday morning at 8am I had a beautiful 6 foot Christmas tree making itself at home in my apartment. Tyler's Trees was quick, courteous, and exactly as promised. I ordered the Regular Tree Package which comes with a tree, stand, skirt, and delivery. When the two delivery people showed up, they quickly brought the tree in, set it into the stand, collaborated with me to ensure it was straight, screwed the stand in, then untied the branches to let them unfurl. They also offered to sweep up the excess pine needles on their way out. The tree is surprisingly symmetrical, doesn't come with any catches, and just generally looks like someone spent a few long moments ensuring it was the right tree for me.
