I love this company! This is our second year using them and both times, they've been terrific. I ordered our tree, chose a time window, and right on time, two smiling guys showed up with my 7-foot tree on their shoulders. It was set up within minutes; they'll even supply the tree skirt and fill it with water for you. For an extra ($$$) fee, you can have them string the lights! I realized, late during the night before my delivery, that I had forgotten lights entirely; I went on the website, ordered 5 boxes and paid with a note and email begging them to include the lights with the next morning's tree delivery, knowing it was a long shot they'd even see it or could arrange it. In the morning, I had a pleasant email waiting, saying they'd be happy to oblige. They are on their game! These guys know what they're doing! In a car-less NYC, it seemed almost impossible to be able to have a nice Christmas tree unless we lugged it home from one of those sidewalk vendors. In addition to our tree looking way more beautiful than any of those 2nd rate sidewalk ones, we felt good knowing that our tree was a sustainable one that was sourced from regional farms. One of the co-founder brothers himself (Lou) came to deliver and set up our tree and he was super friendly, offering to help move around things to place the tree and trimming the branches so our tree looked perfect. We have alternated in past years between buying a Christmas Tree on the streets of Manhattan and renting a car to drive north of the city to a tree farm and get a much fresher tree. This year we discovered another option and one that I think we will stick with for years to come. Nothing could be easier! Louis (co-founder) walked in with the tree already in its stand and placed it where I wanted it and we were done! Had we not then launched into a discussion of the business it literally would have taken 10 seconds to get a Christmas tree setup in my living room. We ordered a 6-7 ft. tree a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately the tree died within the next week or two despite our best efforts to water it. My girlfriend called to find out if there's anything that could be done and they replaced it for free within 2 hours! Apparently some trees just can't survive after being cut despite best efforts to water them. Excellent customer service and great communication all along. After buying a dissapointing tree off one of the many random curbside dealers in nyc, this year we decided to get one delivered from NYC Trees. No hassle trying to pick out a good tree, no hassle trying to fit it into our tiny car, and no hassle getting it up to our 5th floor apartment. About $119 for a 5-6' Douglas fir, delivered with a stand! It was so fresh for literally a month. This year I placed an order and forgot to fill out what day I wanted it delivered. I emailed them and they said they would deliver at my requested date and time. The following day I still had no tree so I called them to see what happened - since I didn't fill out the calendar, they missed my delivery but the man on the phone was so sweet and accommodated me the very next day and even offered an upgrade on my tree!
