Do not know if they never bothered to fix it or it continually breaks down. It is insanely hot inside, the young lady working in the front looked like she was dying. I have complained ad-nauseum and I still get tied bags. Then there's the delivery drivers. Because of my disability I cannot bend to pick up things off the ground. I have several tables where they can be left in such as way as to allow me to retrieve them with a minimum of discomfort; I have signs on the front of my porch, on the door, even on the porch rugs stating - in English and Spanish - to put all the packages and purchases on the tables. When you call to complain about the shopping they apologize, but do NOTHING to actually fix the problem. I've been complaining for more than two years about the same problems over and over. NOTHING CHANGES. When I complain about the drivers the response is "There's nothing we can do. They don't work for us." I beg to differ. If you hire a plumber and he hires an additional contractor, you will hold the original plumber responsible for that person's work. When Albertson's hire someone to do a job for one of their customers, whether they are an employee or a contractor, ALBERTSON's is responsible for the timing and quality of the work that person does. At the very least they should be willing to take steps to make it right. Do they? NO. "It's not my job." is the standard answer. If they aren't going to take responsibility for the quality of the work of the people they hire - whether employee or contractor - then they shouldn't be in business. At least if I hire Door Dash or Uber, I can complain to the company directly if the driver doesn't do the job right. When Albertson's hires them - AND PAYS THEM - I no longer have that right and any complaints I may try to make fall on deaf ears. If there were another store anywhere close I'd use it, but Albertsons seems to have a monopoly for a 12-mile radius!
