Love this place, best curry house in north Wales in my opinion. I could eat their vindaloo everyday.

On a fairly quiet night the Spicy Vujon was very busy, which I took to be a good sign. When I…read morearrived they didn't have any tables, so I was asked to wait. I have no problem with this, but another couple came in after me, again no reservation and asked to wait. Then a waiter came through and took them to a table ahead of me. On top of this there was no attempt to give either of us a menu to look at, nor offered us a drink: poor service. After a prolonged wait I was apologetically shown to a table which was still being prepared: by wiping over a paper table cloth and seating me at an empty, food-stained table. Another delay and I managed to get a drink and some popadoms, which were both good. Eventually I received my starter: Tandoori Lamb Chops (£3.95) which were very good. I eventually received my main: a Bengal style curry of diced chicken in a lightly spiced sauce with minced meat that I asked for Madras hot (£7.95) with a keema naan (£2.05)and a chapatti (£1.05). The curry was tasty and quite good, although I think it was probably a mistake to ask for it hotter than billed, the additional chillis just overwhelmed the dish. Overall the food was quite good, probably 3, but the service was appalling, only 1. My advice save some money and get a takeaway.

The staff were friendly to us and gave us some complimentary popadoms and asked if we'd like some drinks. The decor of the restaurant is quite nice and it felt really quite relaxed in there. The food was enjoyable and we took some home with us as we couldn't finish it all. Overall I'd say we had a lovely time and the waiting staff were friendly and swift (but not too swift where you feel rushed). The prices are absolutely fantastic and they offer discounts to take-away and for students to eat in. Would go back in future.

They operate a take away service but also have a huge restaurant which caters for everything from a romantic meal for two (particularly on Valentines Day) to wedding receptions and corporate events. Bengal Dynasty is unusual in that your order is taken in the brightly lit waiting area prior to you being seated at your table. The menu is enormouos and the food is out of this world, particularly the curried salmon. Poppadoms come with a five dip selection as standard and the protions are alway generous. Its worth calling before you go to make sure they aren't fully booked. During January and February 2009 they have a selection of promotions which include free wine and buy one get one free offers.

Fabulous Indian restaurant…read more Have been going here for years adn so have my parents. Was recently refurbished, so looks very nice. atmosphere nice & everyone very helpful & friendly. Only bad point - is - I have definitely noticed the prices getting higher, and portions getting smaller. for a takeaway for 3 people cost me nearly £40! quite high end, when you think its not in a classy city and we are in a credit crunch. Have started going elsewhere - but if you have the dosh and want a nice family meal out - top marks ! need to mention tiny weeny rubbish car park. very tight indeed and only holds about 8 cars. **
