The response from the server was they proudly serve Indian food and didn't care about radical vegan people. I really couldn't believe it. I've never experienced this kind of rudeness. We weren't expecting exceptional food in this small storefront, but we got it. The food was amazing from the curried chicken (with coconut), through the tandoori chicken, to the lemon rice. Worst Indian restaurant I've ever been to, not entirely in terms of food (which wasn't great), but especially in terms of service. My wife ordered two appetizers for her dinner, as they didn't have a large selection of vegetarian options for dinner. The owner of the restaurant came over to tell us she must order an entree, and can't have an appetizer as her meal. When she explained that she didn't want any of the options listed in the entrees, the manager just yelled at us that she must order an entree. The town was completely booked that night, so we really didn't have another choice of restaurants, and we were essentially forced to eat there and my wife had to order an entree that she didn't want. It was the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant in my life. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

We ate here 28th December 2018 around 9.45pm. We were told by locals the Jalsa was a far better Indian restaurant, however we rang and it was fully booked and now we understand why. We rang here and they had availability. We ordered popadoms with red onions and their usual accompaniments and they came out with plain onions with chopped cucumber in? For our starter we shared a mix of Onion Bhaji's, 1 Meat Samosa and 1 Chicken Roll, the Bhaji's was very dry. They even got that wrong as we wanted 2 of each to share. For my main I specifically asked for Tandoori Chicken, off the bone, the dry one, where you get a sauce seperate of your choice, as I've had in all Indian Restaurants I have eaten in where you can tell it's been cooked on skewers in the clay ovens, this was as though it was stringy left overs, hidden in some sort of sauce, which is what I didn't ask for. My partner ordered Chicken Rogan Josh, the meat was hard and cold. Both main courses were only tepid. I even asked for the owner and he ran off in to the kitchen. Actions soesk louder than words. Basically we were given all the end of the night left over rubbish. I offered to pay for everything other than my main meal. Really we shouldn't have paid for both our mains. Pretty much £50 wasted on crap food. Very poor. read more
