The award winning Bengal Dynasty serves a vast array of mouthwatering Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine. They operate a take away service but also have a huge restaurant which caters for everything from a romantic meal for two (particularly on Valentines Day) to wedding receptions and corporate events. Bengal Dynasty is unusual in that your order is taken in the brightly lit waiting area prior to you being seated at your table. The menu is enormouos and the food is out of this world, particularly the curried salmon. Poppadoms come with a five dip selection as standard and the protions are alway generous. Its worth calling before you go to make sure they aren't fully booked. During January and February 2009 they have a selection of promotions which include free wine and buy one get one free offers. read more

Fabulous Indian restaurant. Have been going here for years adn so have my parents. Was recently refurbished, so looks very nice. atmosphere nice & everyone very helpful & friendly. Only bad point - is - I have definitely noticed the prices getting higher, and portions getting smaller. for a takeaway for 3 people cost me nearly £40! quite high end, when you think its not in a classy city and we are in a credit crunch. Have started going elsewhere - but if you have the dosh and want a nice family meal out - top marks ! need to mention tiny weeny rubbish car park. very tight indeed and only holds about 8 cars. ** read more

Whilst the food may not be quite up to major metropolitan standards it is far and away better than anything else in the wider area, though this is reflected in the prices, as another reviewer has mentioned. Fresh and tasty though somewhat less laden with chillies than some other reviewers might have expected. The wait staff and management are very friendly and the kitchen staff will accommodate any palate. Their many awards are richly deserved. The Sunday buffet is especially recommended. The food is freshly prepared in relatively small amounts and replaced very regularly, not sitting for an hour or more. Looks a bit grotty from the outside and the internal decoration could do with a touch up here and there, to reflect the high standard of the catering. read more

We visited this restaurant based on the recommendations here but were disappointed with the standard of the food. The restaurant was easy to find with limited parking behind. The service was good and the table clean (otherwise the rating would only be two stars). We ordered a fairly hot chicken dish together with a vegetarian main course dish, but to be honest, what arrived in the bowls could've been either. The meals tasted near enough identical and were a worrying nuclear shade of red... also, the vegetables were overcooked and rubbery - very disappointing. We drove off somewhat deflated. This was starkly contrasted a few days later with a meal at Asian Fusion in the centre of Chester, which was much better. read more

We have been there twice, first time was about 12 months ago, and had quite a nice meal and really enjoyed it, went again last week and was very disappointed, service was very slow and found it quite expensive to. I am affraid will not be going back again. read more
