Wife was looking for some Korean fried chicken and beer this past Sunday, so we stopped in for a quick lunch at TwoBox Chicken.
Menu is typical of a Korean fried chicken joint, you order at the counter and they have beer on tap. We ordered the twobox special boneless thighs, which gave us two orders with different sauces. We also ordered some snowing cheese fries, white rice, and radish on the side.
We sat ourselves, and they'd call us to counter to pick up our food as it became ready. The sides came first. The snowing cheese fries were coated in a slightly sweet cheesy powder, which reminded me of the seasoning used in Korean cheese snacks. They also gave us a free side of fried dumplings, which had glass noodles in it. We got the chicken shortly after. The pieces were fried well, crispy, and juicy. Between the two sauces, I preferred the soy garlic to the sweet spicy. It was more garlicky than salty. The sweet spicy was a bit sweeter than spicy.
For the price, it was worth it. I would return to try wings, would probably stick with soy garlic. read more
