Fried oysters with red beans and rice

Large menu, lots of choices. Family atmosphere , most tables seemed to be regulars. Friendly fast service. We had plates of fried oysters with red beans and rice and cornbread. All tasty and well done. Well worth a detour off the highway.

Wow! This place is great! The menu has plenty of options that are all priced at low prices! The service was fast and very friendly. The inside has plenty of room with lots of tables to sit at. Everything was clean and well kept! This is a must go place if you're in the Picayune area!

My brother and I were traveling to Baton Rouge and found this gem. It's delicious and as far as I can tell, super authentic- they've been there for at least 30 years! I even ran into a woman a bit later working at a gas station and mentioned the food/ place and she lit up and said how much she loves it and worked there for 4 years. We had the jambalaya, gumbo, boudin; and crab cakes- again- a must go!

Lunchtime and you're in Picayune, Mississippi, where to go ? I check out YELP and found that Two Sisters came highly recommended. A couple of rules I go by while traveling is: 1. No fast food 2. Eat at a place you never have before Two Sisters sounded good and met both of the above requirements I started off with a good green salad with honey mustard, then a great cup of chicken/sausage gumbo!!! Fried pork chop and red beans and rice was the main course. Everything was great. I hate saying this, but that was too much food. Yes good, but probably enough for two meals. You definitely will not leave hungry!!! I liked the atmosphere, nothing fancy, just good ole cooking and great service! When in Picayune, give them a try. Go get Full

Red beans and rice with fried chicken!! (With really soft cornbread. I would love to stop by again if I find myself in Mississippi again :D

This place is amazing! It's probably the best place in Picayune to eat. It's really good and super cheap. I currently live in Orlando and I'm use to paying $12+ per dish. I got all this for $8!

Crab cake appetizer had 2 generous sized cake with a yummy sauce! And the Red bean &a rice with fried pork chop!

The catfish po-boys are the real deal -- actual catfish, perfectly seasoned, fried right, and served on real New Orleans French bread, not that grocery-store knockoff so many places try to pass off. Every bite tastes like someone in the kitchen actually cares. The boiled seafood is consistently spot-on, which tells you everything you need to know about the kitchen. Anyone who's ever peeled an over-soaked shrimp knows how unforgiving boiling seafood is -- timing matters. And they nail it every time. Shrimp peel clean, seasoning penetrates without overpowering, and nothing is waterlogged or mushy. This is a place that understands: Ingredients matter Technique matters Consistency matters No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just well-executed Louisiana food done the right way. If you want seafood you can trust -- this is it.

This place also serves up a limited Cajun Menu which had outstanding food from what I could see...we stopped for fresh seafood to take home. The prices can't be beat by any change grocery store!! We picked up 15lbs of 16-20 shrimp, frozen red fish slabs, boil seasoning, 4 blue crabs (medium and large), French bread loaf, corn, Cajun pickles and some dipping sauces. This place is busy and looks to be chaos but it's far from that...you can get fresh seafood, supplies, drinks, and just about anything you need for a boil. The staff even gave us ice to pack up our purchases to take north. Really enjoyed the time in the line to visit with other customers and take in the place. The ambiance is like a store/restaurant/market where everything is for sale! Didn't take any pictures but when you walk in the door you know you are in a hometown place where people know each other!! Go check them out when you are traveling through Hammond.
