The only downside of this restaurant is, it is not open more often. Hands down the best barbecue in Pearl River County! Their ribs are cooked perfection and seasoned perfectly, but the chicken is my favorite. The cheesy potatoes and the coleslaw are perfect sides. The tast was pretty good but super tough brisket. They sliced it with the grain so I got a pound of slice brisket that like leather. You would think a bbq place would know how to properly slice a brisket. read more

This was my first time trying stonewalls. I came about a week ago and it wasn't bad but me and my friend tried the baked beans and they didn't taste that good. I don't know what it might've been maybe the bbq itself or the brand but other than that it was pretty decent. I will say the cheesy potatoes are the bomb and that was my favorite thing. I got a pulled pork plate and they give you a lot for the pork and that's good when you pour the bbq sauce on it and it's also good when you eat it with their rolls. read more

Update: I decided to give this place a second try after Tony the owner reached out to me in response to my previous review. Before I comment on my second visit I would really like to touch up on something that I did not address with my first review, that would be the incredible service! I wish I had gotten the young lady's name that had helped me because she was so sweet and attentive to everyone in the line ahead of me including myself. She was very apologetic when she became aware of my previous visit. The apology wasn't necessary but absolutely appreciated! Now on to my second visit review! The food was much better this time around. The brisket was moist and full of flavor, the meat on the ribs fell right off the bone as it should, although I wasn't particularly impressed with the taste. I think that may be more of my preference of Texas bbq so I don't fault them for that as the bbq sauce more than made up for that. The sides were good and the portions are just right. Nice little place that seems-family owned. You order food here by walking up to a window but right next to the kitchen is a covered "indoor" patio so you can sit there and eat if you're so inclined. There's no table service though. Everything is given to you in a take-out box. The food here is pretty good, and it is even better when you consider how limited your options are in Picayune. Their BBQ sauce is also pretty tasty. I ordered the ribs and sausage plate, although if I did it again I'd go with just straight ribs. The meat was tender, but was not fall-off-the-bone tender. The baked beans were good and their rolls were good. Also, they finally accept credit cards now. The bathroom is in the kitchen and is a bit grungy, but that is really the only strike against this place. The lady who too my order was really sweet. read more

Yum! Some good bbq chicken! I haven't tried many of their sides except the sweet potato and green beans. Sweet potatoes was really good, but the green beans tasted like they came straight from a can, just a fyi. They have a little covered patio that's adorable for you to sit and eat at. just wish they were open more hours. Especially over the weekend :( read more

Gave one star because they have really good tea. Got beef brisket sandwiches, I have never had brisket served this way. Seemed to be sliced with a commercial slicer, very thin and sliced with the grain. It was also dry. I am thinking one of the pork smoked meats might have been a better pick. Friendly staff. read more
