The staff is very friendly and the service is good but they're severely understaffed. The restaurant was barely full when we came in and service was a little slow but understandable but when a few more tables got filled, it was like our table had been completely forgotten. We waited nearly 30 minutes just to ask for the check. The food is good, a little dull in flavor compared to more popular K-BBQ places but still good and they provide very large portions. I guess for a Korean spot out here in SA, it's not bad but I probably won't go again. They only allow 3 meat selections at time. They don't do that where I'm from. They're also limited on what they provide in their menu and things like salad or green onions aren't provided with the AYCE price. We had the basic all-you-can eat option with a 2hour limit and all side dishes included. The meats were prepped and ready to grill. We had plenty of time to eat and get full! Finally authentic Korean BBQ on the NE side of San Antonio. The atmosphere was comfortable as they had cushy booths, clean dining area, sports on one tv and K-Pop on the other. They even have a covered patio area if you want to enjoy your meal, or beverage, outside. Our server was nice and answered all of our questions. We settled on a couple orders of Fried Dumplings, soda, small order of Seasoned Chicken and some Soju to wash it down. The food really is authentic and this is the first place I have been to that carried Soju. If you never had it, I recommend trying this alcoholic beverage but enjoy it within moderation. Delicious flavor with the Fried Dumplings and the Seasoned Chicken (sweet and a hint of spice). One thing to be ready for is the price. It is on the expensive side as we paid over $50 for our meal. They do offer an All You Can Eat menu that I recommend since the price point is not far off for the meal we had. Overall I do recommend trying Two Pocha if you are looking for authentic Korean BBQ. We were in town visiting friends and went as a group. This place is the new location of one pocha. It is much larger inside and more accommodating of groups. They were busy when we came but they still sat us in no time at all. Service was very friendly and helpful. Food came out fresh and everything tasted amazing. Their quality of meat is top notch. The seasonings were delicious too. Sides/banchan were wonderful! I specifically loved their white kimchi. The waiter was lost for a bit until the manager helped. The check was incorrect. We were getting charged extra for a "big" party which we were not. They removed it once we inquired about that. The children charge is different from what I saw online and saw in person. When I inquired they said my child was being charged because she didn't sit in a high chair..... age has nothing to do with it? Nope they said it depended if they sit in a high chair. We've been coming to Two Pocha since it opened and I never had a problem until they implemented the iPads at the tables for you to order yourself. The iPads slow the service down and end up making double the work for the servers. It takes longer for your order to come out when you order on the tablet at the table versus ordering through a server. Good thing our favorite server Kristine is always there to make up for the delay in service from the tablet. She's kind, professional, quick and personable. Had my first visit here on a Friday night. It was pretty busy, we stood at the entrance for a good 5-10 minutes to wait for someone to seat us and then another 15 minutes-ish for someone to come by and greet us at our table. I'm honestly surprised we stayed and waited as long as we did because I would've just left. They were lucky that the place smelled so good, that's the only reason why I stayed. Service is lacking, probably because there weren't many servers. I know times are tough with staffing, so I tried to be understanding and patient. Food is just alright, I've had way better Korean BBQ. Usually KBBQ meats are flavorful, especially the kalbi, but it wasn't here. Also, the meats are of low quality. I don't like how they allow 3 meat choices per round. With their slow and not-so-present service, they should allow more meats so we're not waiting to flag someone down to get our next round. The banchan was okay, they give very little portions of that too. Its nice that this a nearby option for us. As a newbie to the area, I'm still on the hunt for a better KBBQ joint cuz I'll drive further for better service and quality. read more

I wish that there was a way to give half stars because Two Pocha is better then a three star. If you are going know that it is expensive but the experience is really good. Been there twice now and will more than likely go again because of the experience. My complaint is about the banchan (Korean side dishes like kimchi) and that is they are very tiny. I am not one to have tons of food but I would like more than just one bite. Especially if you are there with a date or a family outing. read more

Love this place the meats are all very fresh and presented well at your table. The only down fall and it has nothing to do with the food is they won't allow you to take home whatever meat is left over. My shin and I maybe had meat that would maybe fill a little Togo box and we were even willing to pay the $10 but the owner said no. Which I found odd because they're going throw the meat away so why not let us pay the $10 to take it to go and it was not even a big portion of meat maybe just enough to fit in a small Togo box.
