Beautiful house over on Thunder Rd. We had a great time!!! Pros: The service was descent. The home itself is beautiful. There are grizzly bears just a short walk from the home, as well as foxes and other wildlife. The house is equipped with board games and puzzles. All the amenities (other than central air) seemed to work well. The house was designed well and feels homey. The rooms are decently spacious. The kitchen is decently equipped. The directions to the house were accurate and helpful. The hot tub was well-maintained. Cons: They gave us the wrong door code for check-in. We could only find half of a highchair for our baby, and no one responded to our inquiry about where the rest of the highchair pieces were. There is absolutely no air conditioning (only heat) so summer heat is rough. And the most disappointing part... the photo of the home is VERY deceiving. It looks like a beautiful home with glowing lights in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by snow all on its own. They must've taken a fishbowl filter photo, because in reality, the home is in a development. There are houses being built on either side of the home. And not at a distance. Very close. So you do not have the view that you think you have. Nor are you isolated. Overall, we still ended up having a great time and the trip to Montana was very enjoyable!!!

116 Diamond Hitch- Big Sky: We loved this place! Perfect for 2 families or a group. The 5 bedrooms- 2 king suites, 3 queen rooms (two of the bedrooms had 2 queen beds) worked perfect for us. This is the best ski-in/ski-out location we have ever experienced. The trail is right out the basement back door. Click on your skis and GO! You can access the Moonlight side from the Pony express lift or Big Sky from the Iron Horse lift. We also like the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots, pans, both Keurig/Drip coffee maker, plenty of dishes. Large walk in pantry with beverage fridge. One of the best trips with great snow! We will be back.

BEWARE: Canceled Holiday Booking Raises Serious Questions About Transparency…read more Our group of 16 is now out nearly $14,000 extra because Natural Retreats canceled our confirmed Christmas booking with just two months' notice. While that's bad enough, the real issue for future travelers is the company's troubling lack of transparency. We were told the house was "sold." This isn't something that happens overnight. It leaves you with serious questions: - Did they know the property was on the market when they took our money and confirmed our booking? - Why did they fail to protect our confirmed reservation as a condition of the sale? - When we were left scrambling, why did they refuse to help cover the massive price difference for their other properties, or even make a small exception on a 5-night minimum to help us out? The entire experience felt less like an unfortunate situation and more like a calculated business decision where our family vacation was deemed acceptable collateral damage. My advice to other travelers: Before you book, ask them directly if your property is for sale and what happens if they cancel on you. Because a "confirmed" booking with this company might not mean what you think it does. If you are booking a trip that involves non-refundable flights, I would seriously reconsider.

Also, the booking process and the people that are helping with all of the details along the way do a fantastic job. I highly recommend using NR while you're here and/or wherever they may have a footprint.

Our experience with UCO was amazing!…read more We (my wife and I and another couple) did the half-day horseback ride and lunch one day. Timber and Hannah were outstanding wranglers. They provided excellent instruction and took us through varied terrain. Our horses were the best! After riding the open valley we ascended up a creek trail and had a nice lunch up high. A few days later we did a full-day of guided fishing on the Ruby. So glad we did! We learned so much from Isaac and Ben. Landed at least 10 apiece. Massive browns, a few rainbows and whitefish and man did they fight! Lost a few big ones too! These guys were such experts. They were great coaches and fine gentlemen. UCO is first class in our book!
