We had such a wonderful stay at our Two Pines home in Montana! From the moment we booked, the property management team made everything seamless -- great communication, clear instructions, and quick responses to any questions. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the comforts we needed for our trip. You can tell the team really cares about the guest experience, from the thoughtful touches inside the home to how easy they made the check-in process. The location was perfect for enjoying the scenery and exploring the area, but also felt private and peaceful -- exactly what we were hoping for. We left already talking about when we'll be back. Beautiful house over on Thunder Rd. We had a great time!!! Pros: The service was descent. The home itself is beautiful. There are grizzly bears just a short walk from the home, as well as foxes and other wildlife. The house is equipped with board games and puzzles. All the amenities (other than central air) seemed to work well. The house was designed well and feels homey. The rooms are decently spacious. The kitchen is decently equipped. The directions to the house were accurate and helpful. The hot tub was well-maintained. Cons: They gave us the wrong door code for check-in. We could only find half of a highchair for our baby, and no one responded to our inquiry about where the rest of the highchair pieces were. There is absolutely no air conditioning (only heat) so summer heat is rough. And the most disappointing part... the photo of the home is VERY deceiving. It looks like a beautiful home with glowing lights in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by snow all on its own. They must've taken a fishbowl filter photo, because in reality, the home is in a development. There are houses being built on either side of the home. And not at a distance. Very close. So you do not have the view that you think you have. Nor are you isolated. Overall, we still ended up having a great time and the trip to Montana was very enjoyable!!! read more

Everything is in good condition. We really enjoyed our stay. If the weather is nice, it's in walking distance to the town center, which is basically the only place in the area that you can walk around and do some shopping and checking out cafes and bars. read more

Two Thumbs down for Two Pines! Poor Service, Unclean Unit, and No Accountability We had a very disappointing stay at Unit 301A with Two Pines. Despite repeated calls days ahead requesting early check-in, no one ever followed up, even though they promised a call-back and told us the unit wasn't rented before our arrival. When we arrived just 55 minutes early, we were told the unit hadn't been inspected and we had to wait -- Obviously, not true. TVs and lights were already on when we finally got in 14 minutes early, while our groceries sat in the car and we waited in a dusty, neglected lobby. Two Pines' response? "Early access is never guaranteed... our records show check-in occurred prior to 4:00 PM." Yes -- 14 minutes early. Not helpful, and certainly not hospitable. The unit itself was dusty and unclean, with thick dust on ceiling fans and pet hair under beds -- a real issue for our daughter with allergies. Two Pines' excuse: "Our homes are not cleaned by Two Pines staff." In other words, they blame their vendor. Also, a unit with a wine fridge and wine rack somehow doesn't include a corkscrew? We were preparing a special dinner and discovered it was missing. We requested one -- and heard back the next day, long after it mattered. Their excuse: "Items such as a corkscrew are not listed as part of our standard provisions..." Translation: we don't guarantee basic essentials. When asked about poor communication, their response was: "We prioritize calls based on urgency..." That's hard to believe -- no one returned our multiple calls or followed up on anything. Two Pines deflects blame, doesn't follow through, and takes no responsibility. Poor communication, poor service, and low standards. We won't be back -- don't risk the frustration that will ruin your vacation in such a beautiful, scenic location like Big Sky. read more

This company just does not care about customer service. They write nice texts and emails and the reservation agents are very nice, but if you text and request anything...you get no response. Ok, maybe they do respond with "We will have our operations staff get right back to you", then...nothing, they never call or text you back. Stay away from this rental company. read more

If I could select 0 stars, I would. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a rental property. The owner knew their hot water heater did not work properly before we arrived and yet they didn't let us know so we could rent a different property. It has been a nightmare to get them to respond to this issue. They told us we have too many people trying to shower in a house that sleeps 12 people and there are only 5 of us. We have gone without hot water for days at this rental property with no help. I'm tired of being told they are sorry and no one doing anything about it. read more

116 Diamond Hitch- Big Sky: We loved this place! Perfect for 2 families or a group. The 5 bedrooms- 2 king suites, 3 queen rooms (two of the bedrooms had 2 queen beds) worked perfect for us. This is the best ski-in/ski-out location we have ever experienced. The trail is right out the basement back door. Click on your skis and GO! You can access the Moonlight side from the Pony express lift or Big Sky from the Iron Horse lift. We also like the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots, pans, both Keurig/Drip coffee maker, plenty of dishes. Large walk in pantry with beverage fridge. One of the best trips with great snow! We enjoyed the property immensely! The location for us was excellent. Everything we needed was on site, and when we did contact management asking about propane, as we are the only crazy people that wanted to BBQ in the snow, they took care of it very quickly and with a smile. The home was beautiful and very comfortable. The backyard was enough for the kids to build two awesome snowmen! We felt very welcome and would stay again in a heartbeat! read more

We rent from two pines yearly. They have always been wonderful, rentals are clean and well maintained.

We chose this air bnb because we wanted a house over a hotel. Our place was beyond perfect. My kids didn't want to leave. It was so welcoming, so clean, and so easy to book. The location was the best close to everything we needed and not a bad drive to all of our tours. If we come back we will definitely be staying here and have already recommended it to friends who will be here in the fall. read more

The customer service we received from Two Pines was exceptional. Every email was answered quickly and with a great attitude. We had a minor repair issue in our unit that was taken care of immediately. I loved having an onsite contact in Town Center rather than an off premise landlord. Staffed 24/7 with REAL HUMANS-- no question or request is too small - whether a smoke detector battery is beeping or you need to find a doctor for a sick child. Two Pines can help plan adventures, has contacts to rent cars, stock the fridge and repair items the same day!!!!! The staff is so happy - the best reflection of a great place to work. The property we rented for our trip was amazing. We felt welcomed and taken care of. Our family was sad to find out that the Big Sky Resort was closed due to corona virus. We found other options for activities locally that the company suggested. We had only one car and my husband took my daughter to do an activity. I thought I could get an UBER or Lyft. Those services were not available because the resort closure. I called the office and Derrick offered to drive us to horseback riding. Thank you Derrick for going above and beyond to help a family.
