If you decide to go with someone else or not do the work then you get hit with the fee. I'm OK with that. But that's not how this company operates. I had a leak. Adam showed up. I showed him the leak. He dug it up and fixed it and charged me. Perfectly fine. And then they charged the $110 on top of that. They refuse to waive it. IF you're OK with this policy, then you will probably like them. IF like me, you think this is not customer friendly, then be aware and you may want to consider one of the many alternatives. I was a repeat customer for them with winterizations, spring start up, etc. Because of their policy, they lost my business. Edited in response to owner's comments as she is leaving out critical information. Donna R says she listened to the call but she is leaving out that she also heard me comment about the fee and express dissatisfaction with it. She also heard me say that the leak was in the same place where last year they replaced a valve component. I expressed on the call that I thought it would be a warranty repair. THAT is the only reason I agreed to have them come out. As it turns out it was not related to the valve and thus I was responsible for the repair. Which was fair and have no problem paying. And regardless of whether or not I was told up front, it is not a customer friendly policy. One that I would not have accepted if not for the possibility of warranty coverage. And one that i will not accept moving forward. And no, Donna R., I'm not calling the office to discuss. I don't need to hear you explain the policy again. It is what it is. Charge your customers all you want. If they don't care, good for you. I care.

Our foundation was dug out by hand section by section, allowed to air dry, and then coated with high quality tars and membranes, and then filled back in. In addition to the coatings, Long Island Waterproofing helped us get the water from our roof away from the house using underground drainage pipe and "pop ups" at the end of our flower beds. Never was our foundation exposed to the elements overnight. There was no damage to our flower beds or sprinklers, and the property was cleaned every day. It has been about 6 months since Long Island Waterproofing did their work. Tested with heavy snows, nor easters, and sudden dumps of rain and our basement walls are now totally clean and dry. Now that the son is there with his unprofessional attitude and his lack of understanding of how business occurs to maintain customers, I'm glad I am finished.
