Always on time and give attention to every detail I've requested. 2. Courteous, professional and polite crew 3. Ignacio, Marla and, Antonella have become like family. Anytime I had a problem, needed advice or needed a quick fix for my landscaping they always came through. Always fair on their pricing and when I needed help financially, Ignacio went the extra yard and gave me more than I asked for. Dove is a gem!

In the end, I wound up asking those family members what they were thinking with these guys. The price was right, but it turned out to be one of those you get what you pay for situations - they run an 89.95/month system that covers all cuts as well as fall/spring cleanup. The biggest problem is they are beyond inconsistent with their service - I requested they handle us either thursday friday or saturday and was assured that would be the case. Nope, most cuts when they actually happened were on Tuesdays, leaving a long mess of a yard come the weekend and having company over. That's when they actually showed up - there were multiple instances of going 2 weeks or more with no cuts! The biggest offense of all was Memorial Day weekend, no show at all despite numerous messages left on their machine that were not responded to. Because we were having company over, I wound up having to get a mower & do it myself Sunday morning. And wouldn't you know? On the holiday itself, at 2 in the afternoon there they were and had the nerve to go over the lawn I'd just cut as if it was even needed. No explanations, no apologies. In fact, the only time I heard from them was when I got fed up and stopped sending payment - then magically I get phone calls telling me they'll have to stop service if I don't get up to date with them. So of course I laid out all my reasons for stopping payment and made it clear that I wouldn't be renewing for next season. This was met with apologies, reassurances and promises that things would be different if I stayed with them. So I gave in and paid what I owed, magically a truck shows up to collect the check within an hour and finally cut the grass. But wouldn't you know it, as soon as the check clears we go back to the same nonsense routine. As if all this wasn't enough, they have the gall to send a letter at the end of the season indicating that they're raising the rate to $129 a month! No thank you! I've heard from some in the area that this was once a great company to deal with, but that they wound up partnering up with someone else and everything went down the tubes. That may be, but they've lost this customer permanently.

When Carlo the owner came by to give us the estimate he pointed out a tree that had started rotting and suggested that was a tree that should be removed. When his men removed the tree they showed me the very large rotted area internally going up the trunk. Pedro his climber was so professional at his job and didn't hesitate to ask what we wanted cut and also made some very good suggestions. The entire crew worked in unison. Watching them work was a pleasure for my wife and I. What i truly appreciated was the fact that they all actually worked together. As I said Cutting the trees down and removing branches was very professional. The entire clean up left my property as if i just had a fall cleanup by my landscaper. My wife and wont hesitate to recommend C.R. Tree service to anyone that asks. Thank you Carlo and crew

Let me start by saying I'm only giving them 1 star because it is required to post the review. If I…read morecould give them NEGATIVE 5 I would. My GC has been with us for 8 years through 1.5 Million dollars in renovations. We have never had a problem with anyone working on our home through all 3 phases. Everyone gets paid and never waits for a check (or cash). The only exception to our great experience with over a dozen companies is Old Mill. The job is roughly 141K in cost. They were chosen because they install turf and we were using it in the rear of our property. The job was plantings, sprinklers & turf. The entire exterior landscaping minus lighting. Our electrician handled that from our GC. I'm going to list some of the numerous screw ups and the FRAUD they tried to use on our job. They were given professionally drawn landscape plans. There were no change or surprises. 1. The west facing side of our property is full sun exposure and had 32 Thuga Giants installed. They waited until a few days before the first frost to install them. ALL 32 died. They were required to replace them as per our contract. 2. We built a pool house on the property. The sprinkler control box is INSIDE the utility room. The control wire was run through the wall to the exterior BY OLD MILL. All they had to do was mount the box and start the system. For some reason (unexplained) the worker (owners son) decided WITHOUT TALKING TO ANYONE. To drill a NEW 1 Inch hole though the wall to the exterior and run a new wire. STAPLING IT ACROSS A FINISHED PAINTED WALL. Leaving the remainder of the hole unfilled with daylight showing through. Then he rather the bury the wire in the outside, staples it straight across the siding. DESTROYING 15 PIECES OF NEW HARDI PLANK SIDING. We were livid and should have fired them right then and there. But we gave them ANOTHER chance. Strike 2. Next how did they repay our kindness? NEXT UP! 3. Now for the FRAUD. See #1? He is thinking how can he recover the cost of replacing all those trees? The turf. Thats the next phase of the job. When we met with them originally a sample of two different turfs was provided 75 & 60. We paid for 75 and had it in the contract. It is higher quality (thicker, longer & better color). Guess what showed up at our house on installation day? ? You guessed it SIXTY, 60. I saved the samples and made sure I was home the day of installation. It is obvious as soon as you look at it. They we told not to put it down and have the boss come by. HE ADMITTED THE FRAUD!!!!! The job is over 1500 sq ft. Thats how he was going to get US TO BACK DOOR pay for all the trees he had to replace due to his negligence. More on that next. 4. Well it's spring almost summer and 16 of the trees he replaced the first time are now dying. He was notified and asked to check to see if the sprinkler (drip system) was correctly installed and working properly. Who does he send? His son again! We were not home. But we watched the RING camera footage. Kid digs a small whole, feels if the ground is damp. And leaves. Sprinklers are good we are told....Only problem....It monsooned the night before! Fast forward 2 weeks, trees are looking worse. I call him to ask him what's up here? The drip sprinkler is 4 to 6 feet away from the trees and it seems the trees are all dry and dying again. He starts screaming on the phone. I told him he will not be seeing the remaining balance and he can quit if he likes to. Turns out.......The sprinklers were installed wrong! If I could give the company negative stars I would. If you are planning on using them GOOD LUCK. I would not let them take care of a house plant. They are terrible.

Made an appointment for a consult and got an email asking me to confirm by emailing back with YES,…read morewhich I did. No one showed up. I called and I was very upbeat at first. I had used Dom's once before and had a positive experience with Phil so I assumed the crew was just running late. But when I asked if they were on their way, a woman scoldingly told me I did not confirm so no one was coming. I told her I absolutely did confirm, and I had been waiting for hours, after changing my schedule. She said "no you did not confirm." I said I'm looking right at my email where I replied yes. She said in a nasty tone, "Well I'm looking at my system and it does not have a confirmation from you." I said "I don't care what your system says. I did confirm. I'm looking right at it." She repeated, very argumentative and condescending when she should've been apologizing: "I'm looking at my system and everyone else is confirmed but you're not." I said "Then your system is broken because I confirmed! Check your email. I confirmed." Now she yelled at me "Don't speak to me like I'm a child." Excuse me? SHE was the one scolding ME like a child, when she should've been APOLOGIZING for standing me up when I had a confirmed appointment! IN ADDITION: This whole business of "confirming" is ridiculous. I made the appointment, and I didn't cancel it. Even if their system somehow missed my confirmation (which is inexcusable) you don't CANCEL an appointment without contacting the customer. They have my cell number. They should've notified me that they were cancelling. Then I could've directed them to my confirmation email which they somehow missed. Also: Their email made it sound like confirmation was optional. It said: "Hello. This is a reminder that Phil will be with you on (date) between 2:30 & 3:30pm. Thanks, Dom's Landscaping. Reply yes to confirm or visit (website). Thank you." That email says Phil is coming! It does NOT say (but it SHOULD say): "If you don't confirm, we won't show up, and we won't even contact you to let you know we're standing you up." Since that is apparently their policy, they need to make that clear. But again, I CONFIRMED! I have proof. And I waited! And no one came. And when I called, I got scolded, even though it was THEIR FAULT. This is a terrible business.
