On top of that he even came back again free of any additional charge after my job was completed to check on my pine tree because we subsequently had some paver demo and excavator work done around the tree that could have harmed the tree he said. Sammy also informed us to let our town know which tree would be cut down to obtain the proper permit and approval. They also provided their updated insurance on file with our town. Everything went smoothly and on the day they were scheduled, they confirmed prior to the date as to what time they were starting. Recently, the person living behind our property cut down some trees and damaged my property -…read moretrees. My wife and I were advised to call Mr. John Hickey, master arborist, with Lehman Plant Care to assess the damage. Mr. Hickey assessed the damage and said a report containing a dollar assessment and recommendations would be forthcoming. It is now 2-1/2 months later and despite numerous phone calls, he has yet to send the promised report. Perhaps Mr. Hickey considers our damage complaint trivial, but it is far from trivial to my wife and I. Mr. Hickey may be an expert in his field but when he fails to complete the job, his work is essentially worthless!

Same neighbor had Lehman come in to cut off a limb on an extremely tall tulip tree which also has…read morelimbs overhanging my property which I have asked to have removed but the neighbor will not allow access to the tree. The guy working swung part of it into my house and it then landed on my fencing and broke the gate. While Mr Dickey did pay me for the repair, when I called recently and asked for a written appraisal of the danger of that tree to me and my property, he ignored me. One of those limbs did break and fall on my roof, and then down to the ground two weeks ago. It was midnight, no rain and no wind. I was right where it fell a half hour before, having just taken garbage to the curb. Had I been there when it fell I probably would not be here to write this. I believe that one limb cut off on the neighbor's side a while ago made the limbs on my side even more top heavy. Someone like Dickey should have known that. I hold him responsible for the problem and his unwillingness to help me get those limbs over my house removed. He should have told the neighbor it was a danger and get her to agree to let me get someone up there to remove the danger to me and my property. I might even have hired Lehman to do the work. Epic fail, Lehman, and I hold you liable if I or someone else gets seriously injured or killed by one of those limbs. The limb also did damage to one of my gutters and part of my roof and it cost me a fortune for repairs. If I hadn't had a village required piece of fencing in front of my generator, my generator would be a goner. Some plant care!
