During the inspection they spent a surprising amount of time on the roof documenting everything. They pointed out several areas where water had been ponding for years, old patchwork repairs from previous contractors, and flashing details that were beginning to separate from the parapet walls. What made sense to me was that they weren't focused on one leak location. They were looking at the entire roofing system and explaining how all the pieces worked together. Once the project started, the old roof was removed down to the deck. A few sections of plywood around one of the drains had deteriorated more than expected and needed replacement before the new system could be installed. They showed us photos of everything they found and kept the project moving without delays. This happened almost 3 weeks ago and no matter how many times I call Harry (he still answers my calls) or text him (doesn't text back) I hear from him they will come back to correct this matter. I had John Dominick Cusumano, Inc. rip my roof off and replace it with a new asphalt shingle roof. Dominick and Donna, their receptionist, were very helpful in selecting out a shingle that still gave the old-world charm of my Pennsylvania slate that was falling apart. Cusumano was able to put back my old copper snow guards & ridges on the new asphalt roof, giving the new roof the old look that I loved. They were also able to add a new copper valley and copper trim to a dormer and give the new copper that old tarnished green look to match the old existing copper. I was so happy with their work that shortly after, I had them build a walk-in closet for my wife. After they had finished, I realized that there were too many shelves for shoes and not enough for clothes. After conveying this to Dominick, he sent his workers back the following week and reconstructed the closet to my wife's liking. The owners, Dominick and his brother, John are two exceptional gentlemen. They run a professional business and are very nice with their customers.
