Went to new place for lunch. Korean style corn dogs!! What?!? It was soo tasty! I got the korean batter which is panko breading & little bit of sugar ketchup & mustard! So yummy! My husband got the original normal breading. Both were fantastic! Small store, but you can still sit down at eat. New owner took over in August. But store has been there for 3 years! Gave us a full description of what each item was. Very personable!! Will definitely be back!

Food was amazing and the staff was extremely kind and went above and beyond to help me decide what I wanted. I will definitely be back!

Oh. My. GOSH! I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally did today. My only regret is not trying it sooner. How do they get the batter so fluffy and crispy at the same time? It was the best corn dog of my life. It's like they rolled a hotdog in a little fluffy slice of heaven. I got the classic Korean corn dog (#4). It was sweet and savory. Servers were friendly and corn dogs are made to order so they're always fresh, but didn't take long at all. Keep in mind, there isn't too much seating in their small shop, but definitely enough since it doesn't take long to eat a corn dog. I definitely recommend!

Three for lunch yesterday, we had such a great time! Great place if you are looking for something completely different. We were surprised that the corn dogs were not greasy at all, and the flavors! We split a mega box + dirty fries + Kimchi fries, and between 3 people and despite my best efforts we could not eat it all. Hope this place makes it, as they deserve to do well. easy pull-off from Campbell and good parking. The interior is nothing special but it is fun to listen to the automated pick-up announcer! Service at the counter was great - the young man was very helpful in suggesting what to pick out from the menu.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREAKING GOOOOOOOOD. I am so happy they finally have plant based sausage. It was so yummy and worth the wait. I just ordered the one dog cause I wanted to try the plant based sausage - it took a lil bit for them to fry it but trust me it was worth it. It's a small place - it's more catered to order to go. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was driving by and noticed a new shop in the strip mall. I have not heard of this franchise, so I decided to check it out. Apparently there are a couple of this this place in Tucson, but this one is not listed in Yelp yet. All they serve is Corn Dogs. Now there are at least 7 different kinds (check out the menu picture). I got the American Classic with ketchup and mustard. I wanted to try out the normal before diving into something completely different. The breading was a nice corn breading, very tasty. The hot dog in the center was nice and cooked perfectly. I always think of fair food when I think of Corn Dogs, but this was better. They had some different kinds of fries, but I was too full so I didn't order them. Might need to do that next time. Really the only downside is there is no where to sit and eat. Apparently this is just for take out. There are benches while waiting for your food, but no tables. I had to eat in the car. Not a fan.

Still delicious but now they have two small 3-seater tables! Yay! Tried the potato dog with half cheese, half sausage this time and it was my favorite so far. Hubs tried the imjeloen dog (no idea how to spell that). It was very crispy and had an interesting sweet sauce. I'd order it again but def as half cheese half sausage. Son had the loaded tots and woofed it down without stopping...I'm sure it was good. Give it a try! It's something different and delicious. My husband said, "it's like the best fair corn dog you could ever get". Not like a classic American corn dog at all, in my opinion.

These unique corn dogs are full of flavor! It's kind of like a grab and go set up; there's some benches but no tables to eat at. You can also watch them make the dogs through a glass viewing area which my kids loved. My favorite was the potato dog with mozzarella!

Such an extensive menu for corn dogs. The American is sooooo yummy! We're ready to try all of them.

Fast service, and perfectly cooked Korean corn dogs. I've had two hands in other places but this one is different and was so fresh. The service was great and the staff were helpful and accommodating to our choices.

They were checking in constantly for refills of drinks or placing orders. The food overall was good, the marinades had a lot of flavor. I tried some sides that I had not gotten last time I was there which was the fried shrimp, kimchi cream pasta and the grilled corn cheese (no photo). This is going to be my preferred spot for kbbq. The only other one I have tried is Taeguki. I like that Kotu has more options for sides and the they do not skimp on them. They also do not charge extra for the grilled cheese corn. I would highly recommend this place. We went with a stroller and the waiter took away 1 chair so the stroller could sit by the table without being in anyone's way. Given that this place is amazing I'm excited to eventually try the owners new restaurant Seoul Shi.

First, the pricing and portions don't really make sense for groups larger than 2. The menu states a minimum of 2 people, but even with 3 people at the table, each round was still limited to 3 meats and 2 sides total. The portions are definitely designed for 2 people, so with 3 adults we were finishing each round very quickly. As for the food, the beef bulgogi was easily the best meat we tried. It was flavorful and well-marinated. The pork and shrimp were okay, but they weren't nearly as good as the beef. One thing that surprised us was the lack of sauce and condiment options compared to other KBBQ restaurants. Aside from salt, pepper, a house sauce, and a spicy chili sauce, there wasn't much available. We've been to other KBBQ spots that offer things like sesame oil, minced garlic, lettuce wraps, fruit slices, and additional dipping sauces. They did have sliced garlic available, but whenever we asked for it, the staff seemed annoyed by the request. The grill service was excellent. They were constantly checking on us and changing the grill quickly, which we appreciated. Food also came out very fast during our first and second rounds. Unfortunately, everything changed after that. We finished two rounds within about 30 minutes because the portions were small for three people. Once we were ready for our third round, we ended up waiting around 20-30 minutes just to place the order. During that time, it honestly felt like we were being ignored. Considering the restaurant charges $39.99 per person and has a 2-hour dining limit, losing that much time waiting is frustrating. We probably could have fit in additional rounds if service had remained consistent. To make matters worse, one of our sides from the second round (corn) never arrived. When we mentioned it to a staff member, his response was basically, "Oh, you did?" He said he would check on it but never returned. About 5-10 minutes later, another employee came over thinking we had finished because our table was completely empty. We explained that we were still waiting on the missing corn and that we'd been trying to place our third round order for quite a while. Thankfully, that employee immediately apologized, took our order, and made sure everything came out quickly. He completely turned the experience around. We received our missing items, and they even brought us an extra corn and kimchi fried rice that we didn't ask for, which was appreciated. The frustrating part is that the service had great momentum during the first half of the meal and then suddenly stalled. The restaurant was extremely busy, and it felt like staffing may have changed or people went on break during peak hours. Meanwhile, tables around us seemed to be getting round after round while we sat with an empty table waiting. The food was good, especially the beef bulgogi, and the employee who stepped in at the end deserves recognition for making things right. However, for $39.99 per person, long waits, missing items, limited portions for groups of three, and inconsistent service made it difficult to feel like we got our money's worth.

As we began to look,(basically, we just did a google search) , Wings and Rice showed up on our, "food radar" . After noting the high number of 5-star ratings that were consistently being given to WINGS & RICE by my fellow Tucsonians, my wife asked if I would stop by and grab some wings to bring home to share with our honored guests. Upon arriving home, the wings were quickly decimated by our guests. The fact that they were gobbled up so fast and raved about, is probably the best and most-honest evidence that the numerous five-stars ratings given to WINGS & RICE are "spot-on" in their assessments. The place is "kind-of unassuming"--as it sits on the south-east corner of Pima and Craycroft in Tucson. Despite the fact that I have passed it numerous times-- wondering about it, and even considered giving it a go, I ultimately have never stopped in. Shame on me, as i we came to really enjoy the food here! This does then beg the question... "How many other hidden gems like this have I been passing by?" But then, in the bigger view of it all, isn't this the primary reason that YELP exists?! I think YELP got its name from the sound a dog makes after being kicked--which is what should have happened to me for passing this place so many times. ( *That origin story is not true--I just made that up for comedic effect.) So anyways, in my humble opinion (*for what that is worth), the place is the culinary equivalent of Duncan the Tall--a simple, but honorable hedge-knight in the HBO series, "A Knight of the 7 Kingdoms." (It's not my place to recommend TV shows here, but this one is a good 'un). And, if you are thinking that my saying this restaurant is like a lowly knight roaming the country-side seeking justice and honor is a criticism against W&R, you are so-so-so wrong! My comparison is intended as a compliment in the highest of regards. For, like Dunk, this place embodies the true ideals of what it means to serve. WINGS & RICE does not adorn itself with fancy-pantsy decorations and art. Instead, it strives to modestly, and without "pomp and circumstance" follow the noble ideals of serving up high quality and tasty chow (at reasonable prices) to the tired, huddled masses--yearning to breath free and fill their bellies. So, my lords and me ladies, pray, allow me to express my final thoughts on the matter of sustenance and refined beverages that can be had-ith at WINGS and RICE... If one be-ith in the moodith for-ith some tastely victuals, this be-ith the place. I probably just lost all shreds of any "street cred" that I may have had-- with my, "playing the fool" by comparing the W&R to a character in a show. (*not to mention my attempt to use the language of the middle ages and falling short). Despite all that, don't pass this place up. It really is, "the good stuff". Make yee way, post-haste and full-tilt to-ith WINGS & RICE!!! Anon! Post script. We opted for the buffalo wings and the lemon and pepper wing flavors from their menu. The lemon and pepper offerings went first and were demolished in seconds...but the buffalo flavored ones did not last long either. Our guests nearly came to "unshielded swords" over who would get the last of these tasty morsels of delectable meats. *And, an added bonus was the side of rice, which, while I was waiting for my order to be completed, I over-heard two different patrons rave about. Cah-ching! They were not wrong... "food-ith of the gods" were those starchy seasoned soft and sticky white grains of heaven--bathing in spicy buttery flavor!
