Brisket Dinner Platter.
Rain C.

This is coming from a girl who moved from Nashville and prior from North Carolina - capital of BBQ. By far the best BBQ spot I've ever been to. Do not be intimidated by the location or food truck concept because the staff is friendly, personable, and quick. The food is WORTH it. The portions are enough for 1-3 meals depending how much you can shovel down. Just try this place - you will not be disappointed

Two Brothers offers good BBQ. I had 3-meat plate...ribs, brisket and links. Very, very good. The potato salad was very flavorful. The guys are super nice and deliver to your car when order is ready. Check out this food truck. On W. Bellfort near Stella Link.

I've chased this place down couple of times and I was finally able to catch up with them. Boy oh boy was it worth the wait. The brisket was nice and juicy, the ribs had all the right flavor, and the potato salad and beans tasted freaking amazing. The portion amount was beyond what I expected and the price was really good. Overall if you're in the area check them out

I begin to understand the loyal following this funny little out-of-the-way food truck has earned. Yummy. Only been once so far and only had brisket - but looking forward to going back and sampling more. The brisket - we asked for fatty brisket - had a number of outstanding features - it was tender and moist, and the smoky flavor was deep and pronounced, but in no way overpowering. The bark was delicious, the fat well rendered. The only real problem we had with it was it tasted - to our palettes - too salty. Not so "too salty" we couldn't enjoy it, but distinctly "overseasoned" as they say. The sauce - a tangy, slightly spicy pretty unsweet style - was excellent. Also, the per/lb price seemed a just a tad on the high side, but not totally out of line for such tasty BBQ. All in all? It isn't perfect, but it is really, really, really good.

Check out my chicken

This was the best smoked chicken that I have ever had. Price was great and service was excellent. I was able to order and get my food within 2 minutes. I will definitely go back to try the brisket and them Yoakum Sausage.

Best and smokiest brisket in all of Houston!! I go here about 1-2 per month. I like the sliced brisket sandwich the most!

One of the best barbecue trucks in the entire city. I've been rocking with them since they were on Hiram Clarke.

If you arrive early, be sure to grab a number from the binder on the water cooler table near the front door. The staff also walks around offering drinks while you wait, which was a nice touch. Around 10:45 AM, everyone lines up according to their number. We were #24, and it took us almost 40 minutes to reach the front and place our order. We ordered: -1 lb moist brisket -1/2 lb garlic sausage link -1.5 lbs prime beef rib (feeds 2-3 people) -CS tacos with pulled pork (comes with 2 tacos) For sides, we got the coleslaw, potato salad, mac & cheese, cobbler, and smoked beans. I really liked the smoked beans and cobbler! Everything was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. All of the meats were flavorful, juicy, and tender. The CS tacos were good, and I highly recommend getting the pulled pork to go with them. The prime beef rib was the standout for me. They only offer it on Saturdays, so definitely get it if you're there. The staff was friendly and attentive. Despite being busy, they checked on us frequently and even helped clear our table multiple times. Thanks to the incredible service, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere, I had a great start to my weekend!

The food here was the real deal and they should be proud of having earned a Michelin Star, as well as being one of the top American-style BBQ restaurants in the world (only 4 hold a Michelin Star). The people that work here are also friendly and helpful, honestly such a chill vibe, which helps you get into the right mood for some bbq. What surprised me was that I ordered the Stuffed Potato Salad on a whim and it was out of this world! Warm potato salad (taste way better than it sounds) covered in chopped briskets, queso, ranch salsa, and green onions was so comforting and so delicious, I was crying! I also ordered a 1/2 of brisket and even though I had to take it home to finish work, it remained so tender and moist even after the drive home. The crust/bark was also so flavorful without being too much and I'm glad it wasn't just a hard layer of black pepper that was hard to crunch through. I'm also not really a coleslaw type of person, but their sweet & spicy coleslaw was the best I've ever had. I wolfed that down and would definitely get it again! We all need more fiber in our diet anyway and thankfully this is a painless way to do it (unless you can't handle the touch of spice I suppose). I'd really like to come back on a Saturday morning sometime with another sucker to accompany me, because an hour drive plus an hour or two wait on line is quite a big commitment. But the beef ribs are definitely on my radar and I probably will want to try their turkey, cobbler, and mac & cheese sometime. I'm also happy to say that even though I came late on a Thursday near closing and a lot of things were sold out, they still had brisket and that's my favorite cut of meat. I'll definitely have to swing by next time I have errands around here.

They offered an assortment of goods and items that are great for gifts and for your own home. I can always find something of interest in the store. I also love that they tend to carry items that are a little more boutique and local which makes it fun to browse. A lot of people visit for the barbecue. If I recall, when they first were serving BBQ it was a smaller, more limited time and they've since extended those hours. When visiting there is plenty of street parking in the area. They have expanded the seating inside since when they first opened which is nice for those not looking to takeaway food. Food & Drink - 4.25* The counter for ordering is in the back. I definitely recommend getting an assortment or a plate. Sausage and brisket are both solid. The sides are good too. I did notice the quality maybe dipped a little as the hours expanded, but it's still a very good option to some of the nearby establishments down the road or over in the North Main area that tend to have giant queues. When I was working downtown we'd swing over here quickly for a lunch. Feel free to grab anything to drink from the coolers as well if it catches your interest. Service - 5* Solid. We've spoken directly with the owners when visiting and it's evident they care deeply about their store, their customers, and the community. Definitely support your local businesses!! Cost - 4.5* Always subjective. I think for what they offer, how clean and well organized the shop is, it shows. They keep prices approachable. Overall - 4.5* Personally, I think it's a great balance of quality, convenience, and an assortment of goods that make it interesting. If you're in the area or live nearby, walk on over and check it out.

It's a small little place that can get crowded even during off peak hours. The meat is up there with the famous houston places like Truths, Pinkerton, etc, without being as pricey. Although their brisket wasn't as tender as the $40+ a pound prime brisket from the big name spots, it came pretty close and packed some good flavor. Pork ribs are a must order for me at any barbecue joint, and I would give theirs a 9/10 on both flavor and tenderness. The chicken rice was also great and sitting at a good deal too. A super flavorful leg quarter and a pile of their bbq fried rice, which was a very nice fusion for me. I'm usually not a fan of chicken at a barbecue spot, but I would definitely order this again. Even often if they decided to move closer to the southeast side!

Killen's never disappoints…read more Their beef ribs were just short of amazing. Juicy, succulent, tender. For a giant piece of meat on the bone, they worked wonders. You can ask to see the piece of rib before they cut it for you and they will happily oblige (patrons behind you might not be so thrilled with that move, but they'll live). Sides were excellent as were the mashed potatoes with white gravy on the side, green beans that were just tender enough, but also a bit crunchy. Perfect. They were seasoned with pork, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip it. We also ordered their shareable onion rings, easily enough for three people that were huge, hot, and crispy. Let's get this out of the way, some of their prices are a little up there, but if you're anything like me, and don't frequent BBQ places often, it's a rare but enjoyable treat. Sometimes you have to splurge and live a little. Also, they have their regular sauce on tables, but you now have to ask the cashier for their sublime coffee BBQ sauce. Don't be shy, ask. It's worth it. Oh, pro tip: If you want beef ribs, the 'plate' is actually cheaper and a better deal than 'by the pound', so save a little money and get two sides.

Overall, still pretty good to satisfy the BBQ craving. Honestly, the brisket was off-par from my past dining experiences at Killen's, which have been many. They have so many sides to choose and we ordered the potato salad and broccoli cheese casserole which was delicious. It's been a minute since my last visit so I was disappointed that the warm coffee bbq sauce was no longer available - Hoping they bring it back soon. Ample parking and seating inside. The staff seemed more transactional than I remember but they keep the tables and floors clean.
