I hired Two Brothers Roofing (David and Ruben Cardenas) to replace a large portion of the roof of my primary residence in San Antonio, Texas, in December of 2019. My roof is a typical gabled roofing style with two large flat areas in the front and back. Replacing the flat areas is a large job. My roof is old and the flat areas, particularly in the front, had bubbled considerably and I had a slow leak when there were heavy, consistent rains. I originally interviewed the Cardenas brothers months before the project but health problems of mine forced me to delay until the winter. Throughout this time there were several communications I had with the brothers and in each one David and Ruben were cordial, understanding, and patient. In their appearance at my house and in their analysis and assessment of the roof damage and needed work they were thorough, clear, and detailed in their explanations of the conditions, recommendations, and options. And they listened to everything I said, all my concerns, and answered every question in a way that left me completely satisfied and feeling confident in their knowledge, integrity, and honesty. The work they did completely backed up my assessment. Their team was terrific - they worked efficiently but also didn't hurry things along in any way that would shortchange the work. Due to weather conditions there had to be delays. Everyone was completely professional. The team was not loud or disruptive (I was in the house most of the time working and I was easily able to tune them out of my mind), and they cleaned up everything leaving no sign they were ever here except for a beautiful roofing job they did. The brothers were hands on. They were not distant players but were part of the crew, delivering materials, assessing things. And they also had a lot of confidence in their team, which I discovered to be valid. Everything about the finished job looks exactly as they explained to me at the outset. I was unable at the time to have the rest of the roof done, the larger part of my house, which will be shingles. But I plan to have that job done sometime next year and Two Brothers will be the company I hire. It should be noted that in choosing a company I first did a vast amount of internet research, reading reviews in various places, and I also spoke with neighbors. Then I interviewed five different companies that all came to my house to make bids. I chose only the top companies that impressed me the most and who I felt I could have confidence in. I believe they are all good companies but I'm extremely pleased with Two Brothers' work and am very glad I chose them. Final note: they took the time to reassess/review the project paperwork/calculations after everything was done, the team had cleaned up, and I had already paid them, and they found that I overpaid them by $350. It was within two days that they drove over to my house to drop a check off for the reimbursement. I've never had that kind of experience with a contractor before. We had a great experience with Two Brothers Roofing. Ruben and Fernando were great. They were professional, accommodating and did great work in the time I needed the work done. Our roof vents were damaged due to high wind and age. I discovered this on a Saturday. I contacted USAA and through their system requested a roofer. Two Brothers were recommended and Ruben, the owner, called me that Saturday about 30 minutes later. My wife and I were concerned because the damage left a hole in our roof and there was weather expected Monday night going into Tuesday. I shared my concerns with Ruben and said he would send one of his best, Fernando. Fernando inspected the roof, explained what may be needed. Ruben called right away after the inspection and Fernando spent the next 3 1/2 hours repairing my roof. He did an excellent job. He took pictures before, during and after the repairs. I came across Two Brothers Roofing after this last hail storm. I sure am glad I did. They were very professional and their customer service skills made me feel very at ease. They did all the work for me, even dealt more with the insurance company then I did. It was a large weight that was lifted. They are very experienced in the roofing industry and I love my new roof. Two Brothers just installed my new roof in December. From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience! Kevin, their salesperson, was extremely helpful educating me about the entire process and helping me with all decisions. He was very transparent about cost and made me feel extremely comfortable during the entire process. They did the job in 1.5 days and the crew was extremely professional. A couple of my window screens got damaged in the process and they immediately took care of that and are replacing them. Honest, Professional, Friendly. They came out to inspect our roof for free and found it to be in good condition with no need to replace or repair. They were honest...a rare trait for many companies these days. They wanted what was best for us over what would benefit them. They still took the time to send a drone up to take photos for us so we didn't need to climb up on the roof. I'm beyond pleased. 1000% recommended this company. We took several bids to get our roof redone and Two Brothers Roofing came in as the most professional so we decided to go with them. They took care of everything with our insurance company (who tried to short us thousands) and made the entire process painless. We knew we made the right choice when a day before the install they sent someone out to put caution tape around the entire house. My insurance broker recommended Two Brothers a few years ago after a storm (I was lucky that time). Ruben came out the same day I called for a roof inspection after a strong windy storm this year. He was very polite and made a second trip to meet with the insurance adjuster a few days later. The adjuster told me later that he would have missed some of the damage that Ruben pointed out to him, and I ended up getting the whole roof replaced. I'm very satisfied with the work that was done. Two brothers installed my roof a year ago and did an excellent job. I recently has a tankless heater installed which required a new vent. I found out late on thursday and rain was forcasted for the weekend. I gave them a call. They remembered me, and called me back promptly after looking at their schedule.
