We had a leak in our roof in two places, one was a patch job that was done before we moved in that wasn't totally sealed off, the other was around the chimney chase, not dripping from the chimney itself, but the wood around it, off of nails and the like. Whenever we had a big rain, the water would run down one of our walls and drip out of a power outlet. Anyway, we decided to call up Arturo, based on the great feedback he had before on his previous projects, and the same day he was at our house, checking out the issue. He told me they wouldn't be able to get to it for a couple of days because the weather (it was still expected to rain the following 2 days and boy did it!). Arturo went ahead and applied some temporary fixes to my leaking problems, which reduced the amount of leaking significantly! A couple days later, his team came by and within an hour or two, were able to give me new flashing on my chimney, along with other modifications and fixes that are going to save me so much money in the future! Arturo checked on the work after his team left and came back the next day to add additional protection and sealant to the work. He did all this before I paid anything. The cost was reasonable and the work was done quickly and professionally! Arturo was fantastic at communicating with me, listening and understand my concerns and thoroughly explained to me what needed to be done, what it would do and why. GT Roofing responded to my call on the day I called them. The day prior to me calling them we had a ceiling leak due to the heavy rainstorm the week of May 15, 2023. Arturo came out the next day to climb onto the roof to inspect it. After inspecting the roof, he showed me pictures of the damage he saw under the Spanish style cement tiles and explained to me what needed to be done to fix the issue. Arturo was very detailed in explaining the problem causing the leak, what may have caused the leak, and reassured me that he could fix the roof without having to replace the roof entirely. The estimate he gave seemed very fair and the repair would come with a 5-year warranty. We agreed to have the repairs done and within the next 3 days, Arturo and his assistants were up in the roof doing the repairs and took the time to explain what they were doing. Once the roof was done, GT Roofing sent a group of Sheetrock installers to replace the damaged ceiling and the damaged interior wall. We have had three heavy rain downpours since the roof was replaced and there have been no further leaks. The roof is now in great shape and the ceiling and wall in our house look as if nothing ever happened. I truly recommend GT Roofing and Arturo to anyone needing roofing or interior work.
