They cleaned everything up nicely, painted the exhaust squares and pipes to match the roof also installed flashing that matched nicely with roof and home colors. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Kevin Plumb (Sales Representative) - 9/25/23 to 1/18/24 - Kevin was fired while handling my case, which led to my project being prematurely closed without my knowledge. - I attempted to contact **both Kevin and the office for months** with no response. Eventually, I had to reach out to their Austin office, which helped reconnect me with someone from their San Antonio office. - My case was reopened and reassigned to Jasmin after it had been improperly closed. - Kevin instigated fraudulent claims, promising greater insurance returns for non-fixable items. - He also promised interior roofing repairs for structural damage, which never materialized. Jasmyn (Project Manager) - Unreliable: She scheduled meetings but did not show up. - Poor communication: Would text saying she'd call back but never followed through. - Failed scheduling: Set up work appointments for crews that never arrived. - Team left materials outside my house for months, creating an eyesore. - Gutters were incorrectly installed under her supervision, requiring reinstallation along with fascia board replacement. - Dragged the project for 10 months without completing it. - Repeatedly claimed to have submitted insurance requests for missing items but never actually did. - Did complete work on my backyard shed, but overall, the project was heavily delayed. - Despite my proactive efforts, including weekly follow-ups, the project remained stalled. - Ultimately, she ghosted me. Paul Perez (New Production Manager) - I asked what it would take to make my project a priority so it could be finished in November 2024. His response: - "All 36 pending projects are a priority." - Then, he proceeded to ignore mine, closed it out prematurely again, and refunded me the balance instead of completing the work. - Sent yet another new employee to inspect my roof--at this point, every manager had sent someone new for another inspection, causing further delays. - Took an entire year to receive a refund for my overpayment. This company completely mismanaged my project from start to finish, with unprofessional staff, false promises, and severe delays. I had to fight for months to even get responses, and in the end, they failed to complete the work as promised. If you're considering hiring them, stay away unless you want to deal with unreliable reps, ghosting, and financial headaches.

I would rarely talk to a rep who knocks on my door, especially when I previously had another roofing company that I was satisfied with the last time we experienced a bad hailstorm. I am not surprised the roofing reps circulate storm-damaged neighborhoods. It's no different than trial attorneys reaching out to accident victims. It's a marketing practice. The former chases storms, whereas the latter chases ambulances. Nothing out of the ordinary there. Then I met Jody, a new rep they recently hired. Since I normally don't even talk to door-to-door reps, I usually politely dismiss them without appearing too grumpy. However, he convinced me to at least consider the possibility of scheduling an appointment because part of the inspection included looking for collateral damage. Ryan, the owner, came out and impressed me with his knowledgeable and professional approach. He showed me how my previous roofer made some shortcuts by not completely removing the underlayment. He also found a damaged chimney, a broken window, and screens, and two garage doors. After researching some of the reviews, and seeing that they're local, I contracted with this company, who in turn subcontracted the chimney rebuild, and garage doors. Ryan asked for no money up front when I signed the contract. It went exactly as Ryan said it would; we would settle up when the work was done. We settled today as the Schilling Overhead Doors installed the new doors (I paid extra for the upgraded doors and new motors, which was totally worth it). He said I made it easy because I provided all of the estimates, including supplementals when my adjuster made it available. He worked with my adjuster to document the additional damage, so that my adjuster would approve the supplemental. They installed the roof in less than one day. They run like a well-oiled machine and choose only the best tradesmen as their subcontractors. I highly recommend this company and will do business with them as the need arises.

I've had a terrible experience with Action Roofing…read more Communication with them has been terrible throughout the process and has only gotten worse. This is my first time buying a home and my home inspector suggested that due to signs of leaking and other obvious signs of damage I should have a professional roofer come have a look. Action Roofing came out and gave me a quote. We arranged with the sellers to deduct the quoted price from the cost of the home. Once we purchased the home, we had Action Roofing do the work. About a week after the "repairs" were made, there was a rain storm and water came into the home - damaged the paint on the wall in our bathroom in two places (one of them quite large) and leaked through the ceiling in our kitchen below. I contacted the rep and he said there was no way for them to know that there was a leak. I pointed out in the home inspection (which I had provided a copy to him prior to his trip out) and I showed him what I found in the attic - where it was clear to me that water has come through. He sent someone out to seal around the pipes that stick out the top of the roof (which I was told should have been done already) and we've had several storms since and though it's less, we've still continued to get water in our home. I asked him what else could be done and he said we would have to pay him double the initial quote to get the problem properly fixed... A problem that either should have been noted by him prior to any work being done, or perhaps was caused by the work that was done by them... either way, I'm not impressed. I've tried to get the rep to come to an agreement on the repairs - I've asked him to give some concession on the cost seeing as how this was their oversight, but now, the sales rep has completely stopped responding to my emails. I was willing to pay for more work even though I feel like this should be covered by their warranty, but the cost that was quoted was way to high. I am VERY displeased with the work, lack of response, and frankly complete lack of professionalism and accountability that Action Roofing has shown in this matter. We've since had another roofing company out and they looked at what has been done and said that it would not hold up and they were not surprised that we were continuing to get water in the home. I'm likely going to have to pay another company to fix what Action Roofing was unable to fix. To make matters worse, the company that I've had out since tells me that composite roofs in San Antonio don't generally last longer than 15 years and that's the age of our roof. How is it that I NEVER heard that from Action Roofing prior to having these repairs made? I probably could have had the sellers pay for the new roof or at least a large chunk of it, but no. I made the mistake of trusting Action Roofing. Lesson learned.

I found Bob on Yelp and so glad I did! He and Stacey came out and explained the whole process.They answered all my questions and even came back out to be here when the adjuster came. They stayed in touch throughout the entire process. They were able to do repairs to my windows and took my solar panels down and reinstalled them. I had damage to the ceiling in my master bath. It now looks like it did when I moved in. You can't go wrong with Townsend Roofing. They are a cut above and always make sure you are satisfied with the work. If needs arise, I will definitely use them again!
