I had the SAME leaky area fixed LESS THAN two years ago (1 year 10/11 months) and they offered to come out and give me an estimate of them RE-FIXING my roof that they supposedly ALREADY FIXED - if that isn't unprofessional & a indicator of poor workmanship, I don't know what is! We had a crazy windstorm blow through San Antonio which loosened a bit of our aluminum fascia near the peak of our roof. I contacted Bondoc Roofing and asked them to come out to discern if the damage was within their scope of repair. While here, they also evaluated our roof. Despite being fairly new, they discovered a few loose shingles, some vents that were improperly installed and not booted, and a portion of our gutter system that needed cleaning and a leaf guard installation. Bondoc was able to repair all these issues to perfection, but it was not just that they did a good job that was impressive. Owner, Michael Osinskie, is clearly a man that has thought about delivering a top-notch consumer experience. Every staff member that I interacted with from Kylie to Dylan, Rovy and more were infectiously positive, caring and delivered a highly professional experience. They provided me with a polished portfolio at their initial visit, along with high resolution photos of the problem areas mentioned above. They have a very nice app for both Google and iOS to view project status, photos, communication and more. They also offer a Rewards Program. The 'Before & After' photos provided at the job's completion were satisfying to review. Their quality workmanship, neatness and thoroughly performed repairs gave me immense peace of mind. We had solar panels installed in late February, about a week after Bondoc's fantastic roof tune-up. Sadly, we developed a leak at one of the panel installation sites which became apparent when water burst through our ceiling this past Thursday night after an intense storm. This was no fault of Bondoc's and most likely occurred during the panel installation process. The solar company's damages team was off site responding to emergency needs out of state, and would not be able to make the repair before the following week. With more inclement weather forecasted over the weekend, I reached out to Bondoc again. These lovely people treated me like family, and came to my immediate rescue. Dylan squeezed me in to their already tight same-day schedule, took photos of the damage, and covered the affected area which, again, gave me tremendous peace of mind. I had such high hopes for this place! To be fair, the men did a fantastic job on my roof. The reason I will not recommend them is because not only did we go over pricing, I ended up being charged more due to what amounted to materials left behind. Once I contacted them to remedy the situation, they picked up the materials, but I was never refunded. It's a shame I was left feeling so unsatisfied over less than $100, but I guess that only mattered to me. -and I appreciate the late follow up, but it came entirely too late to be effective. read more

Beware Bondoc...I had a roof replacement 2 years ago through Bondoc. With the recent snow storm we had a roof leak that caused interior wall damage. I was originally told the roof fix and wall damage would be covered. After the guys came out to fix the roof I received a call stating the roof should not have been fixed and the interior wall damage would not be fixed as it was not under warranty because it was "an act of God." I did my due diligence and contacted 3 roofing companies I went with Bondoc not based on price but based on interaction with the three roofers I called James seemed to be the most " on the ball". After signing on James kept in constant contact thru text let me know when shingles were being ordered, let me know , when my deposit check was being deposited, let me know when they were starting on the roof and then had the gall to start early Holy smokes what is going on here and finish early I knew they were dedicated to the job they were doing when between days one and two I let the dogs at 645 and there was already a guy on my roof, well in the end my roof looks fantastic read more

After dealing with other mediocre roofing companies in San Antonio, I was pleasantly surprised at the prompt, professional and courteous service that we received from Bondoc Roofing. Like many homeowners, we sustained some hail damage to our residence from the storms in the Spring 2016, and even more serious damage from branches rubbing on the roof shingles. I notices that Bondoc was replacing an entire roof in our neighborhood and went over to meet the supervisor. He gave me his card and ask that I call him for an appointment. The next week, I called and talked with James (estimator) and he was able to set up an inspection within a few days. After the inspection, he completed a bid which was about 20% less than other roofers estimates. He was then able to schedule his crews to perform the work within about two weeks. (Good thing, because we had big storms come through right after that which would have caused leaks and interior damage!). The workers were very professional, efficient and cleaned up the work area completely. James came out and inspected the work right away and we were able to settle the account quickly. All in all, we were very satisfied with the communication, the work and the follow up. I would strongly recommend Bondoc for any roof repair or replacement. I only wish I would have called them first for another roof we had replaced on a different property! read more

It is always a pleasure working with James and his team of professionals. They're prompt and always makes you feel like you're the only client they have. I had a listing that needed a quick turnaround on roof inspection and repair coz we were pending closing. James accommodated the inspection same day and provided my seller with same day quote. He also provided great recommendations and made seller feel comfortable and the buyer happy with the finished product. They added extra manpower to finish the roof in time for our closing day. Initially, Bondock seemed professional and the Yelp reviews seemed great, but if we could give them negative stars, we would. Sadly our experience with Bondoc turned south once the work began. The main issues were the head roofer's refusal to take responsibility for his crew's work and the two holes they left in our roof decking upon initial completion of the roof replacement. Not long after the roof was completed, my husband went to the attic to grab something from storage. When he pulled down the ladder, a bunch of splintered wood fell out. He went into the attic and discovered splintered decking and two fairly large holes in our roof decking, so we called Bondoc to express our concerns about the damage. Bondoc's head roofer came out and looked at the damage. He reported that the splintering of the wood decking was normal, but that the two holes were probably from his crew or something falling through the decking while they were replacing the roof. He did not offer any explanation as to why he and his crew had laid the new roof right over the two holes in the decking without repairing them, or why they had not reported the holes to us. He also blamed the splintering and holes on our "thin" roof decking but when we asked why Bondoc hadn't suggested we replace the supposedly thin decking in their work estimate, he claimed that there was no reason to do so because the decking was "normal". We gave up this circular argument and left him to repair the two holes that he agreed his crew had created. Another issue occurred when my husband asked the same head roofer to redo some work where he and his crew had nailed on a small piece of flashing with a ton of nails. It looked awful, so my husband politely showed him a photo of the original flashing, which had been neatly attached with 4 screws, and asked him to redo it to look like it had before. The head roofer instead applied a ton of caulking on top of the flashing and nail heads in an attempt to hide the nail heads for us. It looked like a preschooler's art project: a piece of metal covered in nails and topped with a big mess of caulk. He seemed genuinely surprised when we told him that it was unacceptable and asked him once again to please redo it like we had requested. This particular flashing is very visible to anyone standing on our back porch and we were concerned about it impacting our home's resale value. The roofer eventually fixed the two decking holes and replaced the flashing, but not without a good deal of time and stubborn assertiveness on our part. We were very disappointed with the work and the entire experience with Bondoc Roofing and we would not recommend them to anyone. read more

We live out-of-state and had to have roof repair done on our rental property in San Antonio because of a leak that developed during some bad weather. The Bondoc Roofing representatives we spoke with (Eliza, James, & Bryant) were polite/friendly, answered our questions, patiently explained the problem and their recommended solution, and emailed us photos before and after the repair. We did have to wait some time to get on the repair schedule because the company was very busy, but on one of our follow-up calls to try to get on the schedule, we found-out they had already performed the repair, and they quickly apologized for not contacting us and keeping us informed.
