I entered into an agreement with Christopher, owner of Alpha Texas Gutters to install gutters with rain barrels on my new home. He agree upon a date but never showed up and never called. He promised to show up for installation at other dates and did not show up then either. Wanting to support a Veteran Owned business, I gave him a second, third, and fourth chance. After at least 6 wks of delays, they finally started and it took many many visits over 2 weeks for them to install the gutters instead of them coming and doing the whole job in a day or two. In the end, I paid him in full and he promised to come back and install the rain barrels with the rest of the down spouts but he never showed up and has not answered my calls/text messages over the last 2 months. I have since read recent reviews, in other places that were not there originally where I hired him, of other people that had the same thing happen to them. In their posts, he came back with rude and degrading remarks for them posting their experiences. I have text messages back from the initial point of contact and going forward to show my proof and feel that I have been more than patient but it is obvious that he took advantage of me, took my money, and never finished the job. Pay more to go with a reputable business because his life time warranty is worthless if he won't even return my calls to finish the job. Now, I will have to hire someone to finish the job and correct the gutters that he put up.

The sales manager was also extremely nice and supportive; even when I didn't buy what they were selling, he made it clear there were no hard feelings and offered to help with any future questions. Rhino seems like an amazing company when it comes to the physical work they do. However, Jimmy heavily stressed Rhino's "attention to detail," yet there were several dropped balls and inconsistencies in the back end of his pitch. For example, he boasted that Rhino relies purely on word of mouth, doesn't advertise, and keeps everyone in-house like a family without using contractors. But when I asked for a lawn sign, he told me he didn't carry them because he is a W-2 employee and only the "contractor employees" (door-to-door sales) carry them. Having door-to-door contractors completely contradicted his earlier claims. He also told me Rhino is exclusively in Texas, but I easily found reviews from out-of-state customers that were actively responded to by Rhino's director of marketing. While contractors and advertising are completely fine, the slip-ups in the pitch didn't align with the extreme attention to detail they promised. Additionally, while the presentation was top-tier, I kept looking and found an offer that severely beat Rhino's price for the exact same classifications of roofing plus more. Overall, they seem like a great roofing company, but they may not have the best prices and the sales team needs a bit more training to get their story straight.

The job is almost complete and we are VERY happy with it so far. 2. Install a buffet cabinet in our dining room and install countertop. 3. Remodel our kitchen. The kitchen remodel will entail replacing granite countertops, lowering part of a countertop, replacing backsplashes, fixing drywall, moving electric and plumbing, installing an electric cooktop, and painting existing cabinets. 4. Fix drywall in half bath and repaint. The garage project is almost complete and the buffet cabinet was installed. All that remains is the kitchen remodel, the buffet countertop and trim, and the bathroom repainting. This company is the best contractor company I've experienced in my 62 years of life. They are communicative throughout the process. The company's namesake, Herbert Hernandez, was our first contact. He worked with us throughout the design/idea process, made sound suggestions and recommendations, provided us with a sensible, affordable estimate, and presented an excellent plan and schedule. The project manager, Mario, is on site regularly to check on progress, to answer questions, and make recommendations/suggestions. The job supervisor, David (Herbert's brother), is fantastic, as are Raymond and the other guys, whose names I can't remember right now. Their work ethic is superb, and they are 100% customer oriented. They're on time, they work hard, do excellent work, clean up their messes, talk to us throughout the work, and far exceed my expectations. I can't speak for there work quality but 1 star for there customer service responses on yelp. *Update* - the owner did reach out and sincerely apologize for the response and personally came out and spoke with me and quoted me on my roofing situation. I cannot say any bad about the effort that was put forward to rectify is initial problem. Quote was very well put together and he explained everything very well. Overall, I have raised my initial 1 star review to a 4 star for the effort he put into to make things right and to correct this issue from happening to future customers.
