His crew came out and replaced the roof and vents in one day. His other crew came to replace all the gutters and downspouts. They even hung a new gutter/spout by the front door entrance and told me it would be no charge. Alex also personally replaced our hail-damaged screens. Now for the icing on the cake. Because we chose impact resistant shingles we are eligible for a significant reduction in our homeowners insurance. My work order was assigned, and I awaited a call for service. A couple hours later, Adrian called and told me he would be there in a few days and would try to get to me as fast has he could, as the recent bad weather had them busy. Fast forward to a few days later. Adrian showed up and went to work. He looked in my attic, said he had located the problem and went to my roof. Shortly thereafter, he came down from the roof and showed me pictures. He said my roof was in good condition and that a boot at the bottom of a vent pipe became brittle and cracked, causing the small leak we found. A common problem he sees a lot with extreme heat and hot summers. He quoted me a price and scheduled me for a repair about a week later. He sent me an email with the total, the pictures, and my completion date. The process was painless and I appreciated the use of technology. The repairs were made. Fast forward to this year. My roof sprung another leak in the same area. I reached out to them the next day and got lucky. Adrian was able to come out the same day. This time the vent near the last repair needed sealant. He offered to stop by on his way home in the upcoming days and would place the sealant near the vent for free. He recommended the three vents installed by the original home builder be replaced with better ones and would send a quote. But for now, would patch me up to get me by and buy a little more time. Adrian made the complementary repair, and provided me a quote with the vent replacement. I can say with the upmost confidence that I highly recommend Roofer Chicks. They are friendly, reliable, and not one your fly by night roofing companies that show up after a storm and leave town. These folks are a local business here in New Braunfels, and they made my stress level relax a little, making the pain more bearable. If you need a roof repair, you will be happy you used them. The team showed up early Saturday morning, took everything off the roof, put the new one up, and when I got home from work it was as if no one had even been there. I asked a simple and reasonable question…read moreabout their insurance coverage for the project, and instead of answering professionally, the project manager withdrew from the job completely. That response alone says everything. Any legitimate company should be transparent about insurance and able to communicate like professionals. Walking away because a customer asks basic questions is a huge red flag. Extremely unprofessional, poor communication, and suspicious behavior. I would never trust this company with my home. Strongly not recommended -- stay far away from this company.
