We went here for a business lunch. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall. On the inside the place is clean and has lots of tables. The waiter greeted us, serviced us and ran my credit card. He was amazing because we barely waited and the place had lots of tables. The food was all incredible food! I had the carne asada and it came with rice, beans and plenty of guacamole and veggies including jalapeno. The check was so reasonable I decided to give our waiter extra! Two Brothers, your food is 5 star all the way. There are a couple practices that are not 5 star however. Food is delicious. Authentic. Quality. And reasonably priced. Will go back again. The experience I had for a first time was a little disappointing however. We went in on a Saturday night a few weeks back. We were the only people in the restaurant at about 7:30. Three other tables arrived after us and as it turned out were served their meals ahead of us. Stuff happens, however I didn't complain nor was offered an explanation. The wait was about 40 minutes. I was hungry when I came in and we devoured the complimentary chips and salsa. I was a little disappointed when I asked for another basket of chips and was assessed a charge of $5, especially after our food was slow in coming, especially after arriving first and eating last. As I said, meal was delicious and I will go back. But, if my meal takes 40 minutes, I am served after 3 other tables arrive and am charged $5 for chips to placate me, I won't be back. read more

With first look the restaurant looks kinda old from the outside and inside as well. There is sitting only inside. Service was good. The waitress seemed like she was a bit new but overall she did good. The food was great. Everything made from scratch. I had a taste for Birria tacos and let me say, they did not disappoint. The taste was flavorful and yummy. Tacos were crispy just like I like them. I had a Strawberry water with my food. It was kinda semi sweet. It had a a lot of fizz at the top, which was not all that great. I changed my drink to the watermelon one and it tastes just like I'm eating it from a watermelon. Not sweet. I love sweet drinks and the drinks were not that tasty to me. But overall I loved the restaurant and I will be going back again. Must try! read more

Came here after seeing the overall high reviews. I was admittedly not sure if I should believe the reviews and it'd just be gringo food, but it actually was pretty good. My husband got the birria tacos and was happy so that's a good standard to go by but I will say the aquas frescas didn't look very fresh to me or I would have tried one. But overall, a solid place! The service was a touch slow but our server had rather large tables to attend to and we enjoyed taking our time and chatting. If I'm in the area, I would consider coming here again. My wife and I had lunch today at Two Brothers, One Grill Mexican Restaurant, located at 890 W Main Street in Bartow. The place was not crowded, and we were seated immediately. Our server, Eric, welcomed us, delivered the complimentary corn chips and salsa, and took our orders. We ordered from the lunch menu. My wife ordered the Lunch Quesabirria, which was one quesabirria on a flour tortilla with rice, refried beans, diced tomato salsa and a side of birria broth. Since my wife cannot have dairy, Eric was happy to accommodate her request for no cheese or sour cream. I ordered the Enchiladas Lunch Plate, which is two enchiladas (either beef or chicken), rice, refried beans, diced tomato salsa and my choice of sauce (either red, green or cheese). I chose the chicken enchiladas with red sauce. These were lunch sized portions, just the right size to fill us up without feeling stuffed. My wife really liked the Lunch Quesabirria and said that she would defiantly order it again. Likewise, the Enchiladas Lunch Plate was very tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would order it again. This is a hidden gem in downtown Bartow. The people were so friendly and the food and drinks were so good! Food was really good but the red sauce was not it tasted like marinara sauce we scrapped ours off and put salsa verde on it. I had the steak enchiladas and my wife had the chimichanga both were really good minus the red sauce. Our friends had the birria tacos and chile relleno said tacos were excellent Chile relleno good minus red sauce. Chips and salsa were amazing salsa amazingly fresh. Service was outstanding checked on us constantly. I would just say if you go don't get the red sauce it belongs on pasta not Mexican food. The red sauce is the reason I can only give it 3 stars. They said everything is made from scratch. Didn't see desserts on the menu yet. Platters run about $10, individual tacos are $2. Portions are huge, real plates and silverware (not styro).
