Me and my wife recently stopped by here to see what this place offered. My wife has been here a few times but this store is absolutely great! It features a great variety of upscale dog and cat food, toys, a custom name tag machine and many accessories to summarize. There's an upstairs as well with plenty of items as well up there. Always looking for some fun treats and toys for my girlie. We were strolling around town on Saturday and decided to swing by. Upon coming in the staff greeted us with a warm welcome and even offered our girl some treats. We grabbed some chews, treats and toys for our girl and headed out. On the way out we saw they had a fresh dog water fountain for the pups to enjoy while they are shopping around town. They also make fun birthday treats and more for pups. I stopped here to look for some new dog treats for my dog. Boy! This shop did not disappoint. It's a cute dog boutique that has lots of options for dog treats and dog food. Make sure you check out the treats in the case near the cash register. They looked so cute! They were decorated as reindeer and snowmen. Very Christmasy! I really wanted to get one for myself. The shop also had an array of collars and bandanas. I got a bag of peppermint bark dog treats, which helps support dog shelters. I also got a box of dipped dog bones that were decorated as reindeer. Their collar w/the little cupcakes on it was a huge hit with me! Absolutely adorable! Andy, the owner is very helpful and knowledgable- not pushy! They have every cute little item for your pet! I am a cat owner, so it didn't occur to me until recently to visit the doggie shop. Behold! They have a cat section upstairs!! Cat food, cat toys, cat nip, and nearby dog owners who have ALL my sympathy. The cat food selection is pretty wide, and it's high quality stuff. I have been in search of the Open Farm brand, and there are only a couple places in the suburbs that carry it. Two Bostons does a buy-ten-get-the-eleventh-free loyalty program, for which I signed up. Very nice people work there - very helpful. Actually, I love dogs too, I just don't live well with them. I've had cats forever and I feel like I understand their weird little brains. If I owned a dog, I'm sure I'd be buying the fancy biscuits from the display case, plus winter shoes and sweaters. read more

This store is adorable! I just stumbled on this cute pet store a few months ago. I found my dog some cute treats here and another friend's dog a cute toy for Christmas. Staff are helpful and they even have a frequent rewards program. Anytime I'm out in Naperville this is definitely a must stop place and us my dog would be thankful I did too! What a neat store! I am not a big fan of trying to park in downtown Naperville, but we went on a Sunday morning, right when Two Bostons opened, 11 am and found ample parking. I stopped in because I was looking for booties for my Dobe. In his old age, he is having traction problems on our wood floor. I wanted to actually touch the boots to make sure they were "grippies" and not slick. The employees were more than fine with me opening up the packaging to touch the boots and sure enough, the ones I would have ordered on line were wrong, no grip/slick. They saved me not only a purchase, return and the time wasted. While in the store, I found lots of other specialty items and a very helpful staff. I used to like their location, but not anymore. First of all, lots of products, including foods from Fromm and Acana are overpriced. They notoriously charge $3-4 per bag more and don't offer sales when the manufacturer does (Krisers has the same Fromm dog food for MSRP and additional $5 off currently). Their dog toys are supposedly guaranteed for life, and I was assured that they will take care of it should they be broken. When inquiring about a broken toy, I was told to go back to the manufacturer. The final straw was tonight. I stopped in to get shampoo. No one bothered to help me, and told me that they're closing because I stayed 4 minutes past closing. I wouldn't recommend. Too bad for them since I used to purchase dog food, toys, and other accessories on a monthly basis. read more

I adore Two Bostons! The owners are so nice and have an absolute love for dogs. I'm one of those dog owners who literally treats my pup like she's my human child, so I love spoiling her at Two Bostons. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but that's why it's a boutique! Here you'll not only get great items for your dog, but you also get a unique and enjoyable experience you won't find at the local Petco. I typically stop by here for special occasions (ie: my dog's birthday, holidays, etc. - I told you my Stella is my puppy child, so she needs gifts too!). They have adorable themed treats! I've gotten my Stella a Chicago Cubs treat, birthday cake, cute decorated cookie bites - you name it. Their selection of dog toys is also fantastic - only the best. It's not a huge shop, but it's very cozy and welcoming. It's conveniently located downtown Naperville, so it's perfect for walking your dog around after stopping by. I like my chances on seeing a cutie puppy or two when I go in and I appreciate the uniqueness of their items but the prices are defo pretty high. I've found a lot of their items at Dog Patch and PetSmart for 25% (or more) less. The owners are very nice and friendly but at least one of the other staff members seems to not care so much. I had asked about a specific brand of collars that I had gotten from a pet boutique in the city and she pretty much said that I needed to track down the owner... which I understand but can you hook me up with some contact info? Maybe you could take 2 minutes to pass my memo along to your boss? Don't be lazy, I expect more from such a cute place. And I would defo like to see their selection of feline items grow... many dog owners also have cats and I think they could have a much larger customer base if they devoted one more shelf to their feline friends. read more

I cannot get enough of Two Bostons (both locations). Tell them about your concerns and your pet's needs, and they will do what they can to educate you and find the right products. I picked up a few things for my kitty today and I am just so impressed with everything. I discovered many new products, including catnip toys by Yeowww! which are made in the USA, I got a small one filled with organic catnip for $3.99 which I think is an outstanding value. (Shhh...don't tell my kitty about it since I am trying to hide it until Christmas). And if you are into Lampe Berger (a type of catalytic fragrance-diffusing lamp from France that cleans the air), this is one of the few places in the area that sells it. read more

Two Bostons has some pluses, like nice-looking and well-stocked stores and somewhat friendly staff. However, they have some major drawbacks. First of all, street parking in Naperville is a pain in the butt. I prefer the parking at Wet Nose in Geneva which is always plentiful. Second, Two Bostons is very expensive, even for basic things like chews and treats! Don't get me wrong, I love to treat my dogs, but I don't like to be gouged. Wet Nose has just as good quality if not better, and much better prices on things like bully sticks and beef marrow bones. Third, I found the staff somewhat impersonal and not outstandingly friendly. Charlie the Wonder Dog is definitely a new fan. I had barely put my shopping bag down and she was already poking her head inside. The chewy braid I gave her kept her busy for a short time and before I knew it, she was sitting at attention waiting for a next treat. Oh girl, you do like the expensive stuff. This is definitely boutique shopping for your 4-legged friends. The wall of dog collars and leashes was a little overwhelming--so many different and cute patterns to choose from. Price ranges from $10-$32, but all of them were very sturdy and well-made. The corner of doggie treats boasts a lot of natural and healthy snacks. Nice selection of toys as well. I looked at the bakery case and there were a lot of cute, fresh-baked treats for your pup. I glanced at it just briefly, because if anything, between the new collar, the chew braid and a package of sweet potato chips, I had already spent more than I planned. Very friendly staff. They asked everyone that came in about their dog. Big points for the cute human-wear for pet lovers (I want to go back and get a sweatshirt). You can also register your pet for the birthday club--they get some free treats during their birth month. You also start accruing free dollars if you spend more than $25 at each purchase. Check out the second floor for dog beds, more doggie-wear and items for the felines. I am definitely a fan, but because of the prices, this is definitely just a special treat/gift stop, but for sure finds a nice niche in downtown Naperville. read more

We love taking our chocolate lab to downtown Naperville and we always make sure to stop by Two Bostons. The staff is very friendly and they are very knowledgeable about all of their products. They even give dogs free treats when you first enter the store. The only downside is that some of their products are a little pricey. However, they do some pretty neat things for the dogs including free photos with the easter bunny and free birthday treats for your dog. Overall they are a great place to shop! read more

So disappointed. Bought a jive toy that was supposed to be guaranteed and indestructible. Neither was correct. I was told today that jives weren't covered I would have to go to the company to get a refund or a an exchange. Please train your staff better.... I was told as long as I had the receipt I would be given one exchange. Unfortunately I found out that it was the more expensive you which I would have bought had I known. I was told these are stronger then Kong toys.... That is a huge negative. It seems like this store doesn't like pit bulls. They have no toys for them nor clothing. Where pet smart does. I really like this store they have a lot of different items, the staff is really nice (it is owned by a husband and wife they are sooper nice) and the bostons they have are really friendly..I bought an item for my dog that was quite large one of the owners brought it out to my car for me! Which I thought was really nice...They also have a lot of events for your pets... The only issue that I have with it is that it is a hair overpriced. on somethings that shouldn't be overpriced...that is why I did not give it .5 stars. read more

We had an appointment in Naperville for some wedding crap and had time to kill, so we walked around town looking at the stores and stumbled upon Two Bostons. Being obsessed with my dogs, I'm always looking to get them something new. The store is small but cute, and has a lot of stuff from toys to beds to treats and high end food. We decided that what our one dog really needed was a good, durable toy. He don't have much luck since she's a chewer and destroys pretty much everything. One of the employees saw us looking at toys and came over to help us. We explained our dog to her and she found us a really great toy. It was a big cloth ring that had like 7 layers of stitching, making it harder for a dog to tear through. Seemed like a good option, as it would be soft on her teeth and also since she loves cloth considering I've lost many pairs of socks to her mouth. We also got her a rubber donut toy. Apparently, if your dog destroys it, you can send it in to the manufacturer, and they will send you a new one at no cost. Sweet! I also got some chews for my smaller dog and a DNA looking thing to put the chews in, since somehow that's supposed to stop my dog from inhaling the chew at the fast rate he consumes food. The stuff was a little pricey, but I guess you have to pay for good quality. Our bigger dog loved her cloth ring. It lasted about a week, which is actually longer than any other toy she's had sooo, win? She doesn't seem to be that interested in the rubber toy so that is having a longer shelf life. As for our smaller dog, he figured out the DNA ring pretty quickly and got the treat out of their in no time. Oh well. I don't think I'll be going to Two Bostons any time soon, simply because it's far away, but if I'm in the area, I'd drop by again. I first went to Two Bostons when they were located off of Washington street - and haven't been to the new location until yesterday! We walked in because a friends dog was put to sleep last week, and figured something needed to said - and what better place to check for the loss of a loved one, then a store dedicated to them!! She found the perfect card, and although it was sad thinking about why we were there - I tried to lighten the mood with all the fun toys, costumes, and treats spread throughout the store! DON"T FORGET THE UPSTAIRS..... =) It is very expensive, but you're at a Pet Boutique, so it is what you expect I suppose... I love Two Bostons! I have bought a variety of cute things for my chihuahua here including Puppia harnesses. BEST harness EVER! I see a lot of reviews saying that Two Bostons is quite pricey and I beg to differ. If you are comparing the prices to Petco then yes it is pricey, but you cannot find the same brands and quality merchandise at big box pet supply stores. Its a boutique! Super cute boutique pet store. Tons of cutsie toys in a variety of sizes (including sizes small enough for my little 4-pounder at home). Staff was pleasant and helpful, going as far as to help me track down a toy that I couldn't find. The prices are, yes, somewhat higher than your average Wal-Mart-like pet store, but I feel like the uniqueness of the "Sniffany's and Company" plush makes up for the $10+ price tag (though I did throw up a little bit in my mouth when I saw the $125 houndstooth jacket upstairs). They also have a nice variety of harder-to-find organic pet foods (you know, the kind that cost a lot per bag and prove to the world that you really do love your pet) which I plan to browse through next time I go. I love this store and so do my dogs! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. They always give my dogs treats when we come to shop. The store has everything I need and more for my pet from toys to leashes to an entire bakery of doggy treats. I love that they are always hosting events for families and dogs. Went to 2B to pick up some treats for my dog before work. Walked in 3 employees standing behind registers wile customers shop throughout the store. I bought 50$ with of bullies sticks. They gave me this flimsy little plastic bag for my purchase. The bag broke half way down the street. I understand watching your bottom line but I think a 50$ purchase is entitled to a better bag. Or train your employees to know what goes in a flimsy bag. Not bullies that are sharp and can rip the bag!! read more

Kaysye (our spoiled Chihuahua) was very picky and wouldn't eat anything. We tried everything. Finally we stopped into Two Bostons and the owners suggested some Raw food. Kaysye wouldn't eat it raw, but when I cook it fresh for her, she eats it. She also eats a hard food that we buy there, too. All natural. I love the selection they have there. Some say it is overpriced, but you truly do get what you pay for, and we get the best. Recently we switched shampoo for Kaysye after a suggestion from Andy, and Kaysye's coat has never been cleaner, fluffier, softer and healthier. Thanks to the Two Boston's staff and owners.
