Starting off, the way they treat their dogs is unacceptable and borderline abuse. This company solely exists to make a profit and it is very clear. The employees are very neglectful of the puppies needs leading them to poop/ pee while in the pen with customers who want to play. NOW she is going in heat and we took her in the vet this morning and she was fully intact and NOT spayed at all. I am STILL waiting for the documents on her as well. I was told in April that I would get them in the next couple of weeks, well, it is mid July and no paperwork. I was forced to remove my review 6 years ago by the company for "false information" however it is now very clear what happened. March 2017, we are looking for a Shiba, we got roped into this contract for about $4000. He was very sick almost immediately, we suspected parvo, they told us that was impossible. We went to a vet and they confirmed it, so we tried to return him, but they said according to our contract we would not be able to. So we did what we could to treat him. For his entire life he has had sensitivity to many foods, constant vomiting and diarrhea. We made his life as good as we could, but today is the day we had to finally put him down. The hospital we took him to was surprised he lasted as long as he did, saying he shouldn't have made it to 4, but at 6 years old he can finally be at peace. Thank you for all the memories Chigo. Also, during the week they currently open at 11:00am, but the puppies aren't in their pens to see until about an hour later (so don't go to look at puppies right when they open). All of these puppies are puppy mill dogs and in most cases they are sickly. You are paying thousands of dollars for a pretty pup with health problems. The puppies are not at fault for this and should not have to go through this. Look past the cute faces and you'll see some sad dogs that are caged all day everyday for the beginning weeks of their lives. Horrible. Adopt Don't Shop. First off, the dogs here are not in small cages like some other places, they are 2 or 3 in a decent size crib. Second, the prices are higher than and independent, BUT, an independent doesn't , have every dog up to date for their age on shots PLUS give you 3 additional vet visits on Furry babies, PLUS will guarantee against certain ailments after the sale. That's why you sign a contract. Add up those costs. Depending on who is there, at times things don't go smoothly but do they always go smoothly at your work when everyone supposedly knows what they're doing? Some people were friendlier than others just like everywhere else! All said and done, I would recommend them and yes I would have liked a lower price but NO I wouldn't like to pay all the extras out of my pocket. I brought a dog from here in October, I financed the dog which at the end was very expensive, I should have left the store without the puppy. They advertised they are microchipped, but when you get their you have to pay $249.99, they also tell you that they are giving you food, but you pay 99.00, lastly that I found out the person signed my name to all the agreements and told me I would get the papers in the mail, when I contacted the lender to what the status was, they told me I signed the papers already, I was like what??? They tell you that they will cover the vets bills for a year, you have to go where they indicate and it's very far from my home. Not that I did, but if you give away your puppy, all warranties are void. Well to end my review, I am stuck with a $4000.00 bill and at the end of my contract I would have paid $6000. If you don't have the money to pay out right don't finance with these high interest loans, just don't do it. Please think before buying any dog here! These dogs are so crammed in these cribs where they sleep, eat, and relieve themselves in! So unsanitary, the dogs are covered in their own urine and poop. I went in and played with an Australian shepherd who is also in a tiny cage loosing his poor mind in this store. The tiny dogs in tiny cages is horrible but these big working dogs they have in them is even worse! These poor dogs rely on customers to take them out of their cages to get any freedom from those cribs and this Australian shepherd was so under stimulated that all he was doing was biting me to the point where I am now covered in scratches and bruises! The worker did not tell me he was a biter which I later found out she was aware of! She described him as "crazy" and failed To mention that he bites(not in the playful puppy manner, he was growling and actively trying to bite me even when I tried to redirect with toys) ! I absolutely love this place! When we got our first English Bulldog, they were very helpful and gave us everything we needed to take care of him properly! When he got a little under the weather a little bit after we got him, they took care of him and made sure we got everything we needed to help him get better. We bring him in often to get his nails trimmed since they do it for free for their puppies. We just got our second bulldog from there! Once again they were very helpful. All the staff there got above and beyond for their puppies and customers. They absolutely love their puppies and it really shows. read more

It's my fault for even walking into this place. Of course we saw puppies. Of course they are cute. Of course we fell in love, and it was all totally our fault. We found a Shiba Inu that was just precious, and tore on our heart strings. We found out he originally sold for $2200 but he was returned after one night so he was a "steal" at $1800. Let's not fail to mention Furry Babies keeps half the money when you return. The manager used that attachment to plot customer vs. customer. I called later that evening to check on him, and she said "well, another lady just went home to try to figure out how to pay for him because they got denied for our loan because there is a lock on their credit." Well, she probably shouldn't have told me about their credit. And I truly feel like she used our emotional attachment against us by telling us someone else was interested. AKA buy now so we can get rid of him. Anyhow, we went in the next day to visit with him again. They weren't willing to budge on price which also made me question the whole process. If you "really want to give this puppy a good home" and you want to "send him home with you guys" you would work with us just a little. We weren't asking for much off the price. Just a little movement since they already made $1100. After much back and forth, we left again without our puppy with a promised call back "either way." No call. The next day, we made up our minds that we wanted the dog. Yes, it was expensive but he would be a great addition to the family, and that would be worth it. Well, when we walked in, we found out he was sold the night before. We never got a call, which we were told we were. Totally duped. I did look up the breeder, and it wasn't a known puppy mill, so I can't say anything along those lines. What I will say is that this place doesn't give a crap where the dogs go to. They would LOVE for a broke family to come in, apply for their credit and pay upwards of $500 in interest. If God-forbid something happened to that puppy and the family couldn't afford the vet bill, the dog would be SOL. Furry babies doesn't care. They want to turn 'em and burn 'em. Numerous calls, emails to the owner with no response ever. Have called at least 20 or more times to hear every excuse under the sun. Now it's Covid. I guess my only recourse is small claims court. Planned on breeding her but with no papers won't happen. So I'm out about 20,000. Buy elsewhere people. read more

I got my English Bulldog from them a few months ago and he and the store are amazing. DO NOT believe what you hear on the internet. Its all a bunch of over exaggerated, over sensitive-nonsense from animal rights activists. I love dogs and so does my family. We own a dog boarding and daycare small business in Oswego. We have 6 dogs and 4 of them are rescue's, one from a breeder and one from Furry Babies (aka a breeder) Furry Babies hand picks all of their pups from certified breeders. The breeders paper work is available for disclosure BEFORE purchase. So obviously the store has nothing to hide. The fact of the matter is sometimes puppies die unexpectedly, which can happen no matter where you get a puppie. Furry Babies truly cares about these puppies - if they didn't they wouldn't be paying for the puppies entire 1st year of vet car AFTER they get purchased. If anything Furry Babies is doing a GREAT service for these dogs and MANY Dog owners wouldnt bother paying for most doggy vet care which is valued at 2k in the first year. Furry Babies essentially FORCES owners to take care of there dogs medically by including the 1st vet care in the price. Also its important to note a lot of people who made up lies about the store just lost in court for defamation lawsuits so obviously courts have reviewed the evidence and inspected the stores and found ZERO evidence for these ridiculous claims. read more

Nothing like buying a dog that's diagnosed within a couple days of purchase with two luxating patellas and tests positive for giardia. Called the store immediately about the giardia and the attitude was basically "so what, none of the other dogs have any diarrhea." Mind you, my puppy never had diarrhea. I refused their vet since the store only had the dog for about a week and she was supposedly seen by the vet. My puppy definitely brought giardia home since I hadn't had her outside yet and my other dog was tested with the puppy and tested negative. I ended up keeping the dog even after a full refund was offered because the puppy deserves the best. I also did some research as to her breeder and it was reported that her breeder had 28 dogs on her property when inspected! They do get dogs from puppy mills, don't let them fool you. read more

Although the staff is nice there's a lot they don't tell you, my biggest issue is that the sales lady stressed the fact that all my dogs vaccines would be covered for the fist year, after speaking to my vet (not really my vet it's the vet they make you go to) I was told furry babies only covers up to16 weeks. At one point I was petting a dog who was asleep and told "you can't just pet the babies when they're sleeping"---not even a second later one of the workers took the puppy and starts carrying it around the store after I was just told not to wake the puppies. No one was going to see the dog, she was literally just holding it. Wish I could give this place a zero rating. I am animal lover to the extreme, so I don't even know why I came in here to find a new friend for my 2 year old dog I currently have. I did some research and saw they (Furry Babies) were in trouble for using puppy mills years ago, but they were under new protocol for this. So I'm assuming everything is legit. I go into the store and fall in love with a Boston Terrier. The price tag was a little steep ($3900), seeing that I could find a breeder for under $1500 after doing my research. The sales girl tells me these dogs are bred in Million dollar kennels, (Blah, blah, blah). I asked to see the breeder info,(Milan Yoder), is the name they had on the breeder registry in Millersburg, OH... I did some research, (go ahead look that name up) and the breeder can not be found. Even the address they have in the book can not be found. So why would I pay almost $4k for a puppy if I can't find out if the breeder is legit. The only thing I found on the breeder, with the last name Yoder in the area was a puppy mill in that area that had been in trouble for having dead dogs on their property and dogs living in terrible conditions. My heart sank! I can't believe this place is deceiving people into thinking they are getting "AKC" "Certified" Puppies and all the other BS they feed you. FYI any pure bed dog can be registered as AKC it doesn't mean it's any better than the next. Just means you can track the bloodline. But in this case, I couldn't even track the breeder. This place is terrible. The people who work here, are there for commission. They don't care about the animals or the conditions of the animals playing in their own pee and poop. It's so sad. Please do not go to pet stores for your puppies. Do your research. I wanted a puppy for my dog to play with. And I found out the truth about these sick places! I put down a $100 deposit to hold the puppy and they did not refund me, even after I told them about my findings. Furry Babies should be ashamed of themselves!! My MISTAKE going here and falling in love with my beautiful french bulldog that after we signed papers just to find out the price of her (over $6000). FOR A PUPPY!!!! Came with a cage, two shots worth at the vet and would have to pay over $100 for her to be fixed. Terrible vet they send you to, too. Its absolutely ridiculous, no reason a dog should be that much ever. Got her "papers" and looked everything up online and it was all dead ends! Clearly my poor cock eyed pup isnt pure breed they lied to me about. Especially with all the complications she had. Left a comment on facebook just for their account to block me!
