I have suffered a few health issues which now requires I have help when I bring my 3 dogs. My husband has been going with me. He lifts my dogs into the tub and table for her. Well, since she has decided (which is her right as is her business) to only be open 4 days a week...the business has slipped. I canceled on her once because I was extremely sick and didn't want to pass it along. Then, it takes FOREVER to get rescheduled. We get rescheduled and she cancels the morning of which I was more then ok with as I don't want to get sick. This is now 8 weeks that my dogs haven't been washed. I admit that I was forgetful on continuing to connect. I get a text with a day to come in and respond within 20 minutes that yes I will take it. (She claims to have never received my response.) fast forward and we are now at over 3 months for my dogs not being groomed. We showed up to the appointment that she offered me only to see someone else booked for that slot. I tried calling her with no answer and then the texts begin. If she would have apologized from the get....we wouldn't be here writing this review. We loaded all 3 dogs in 2 cars and showed up to only feel completely disrespected. As a long time client of hers...at some point we should have been made a priority and booked. Her communication needs to improve or maybe work 2 extra days a month to keep up with demand. Just a suggestion. We felt as though she completely disrespected us by the blame game via text. In the end, I said please call me if u want to talk and work this out. No call and here we are. It has become a HUGE problem to schedule an appointment. I was always kind and courteous to her and her daughter. We tipped well and were always part of the process. We put our dogs in the tub and table for her. U figure for long time customers, u would do what u could do to keep them. We shouldn't have communicated via text. She should have picked up the phone. Wish her the best truly and hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else. Thanks for the great service over the years. Too bad this couldn't be resolved with a simple phone call.

Believe me I have looked. My Dog was 12 and had a tumor and we had to put him down. It has been awful missing my dog but the vet has been nothing but compassionate. They said they would bill me instead of making me pay while I was sobbing and when I recieved an envolope in the mail thinking it was a bill it was a card from the vet telling me how sorry they are about what happened to my dog. They still have yet to bill me. Today I went back for my cat because she had some scabbing on her neck and when I paid they told me what the balance would be for my dog and informed me that they made me a paw print for me and I can get it in a couple weeks. I got in my car and cried! I just was putting together some scrapbooking stuff for my dog and was so mad at myself that in 12 years time I never took a paw print from my dog and they did it for me. I love this vet hospital. I can not believe how far above and beyond they have gone for my dog and I.

It was up to us to save our dog. We took her to VCA in Aurora where they operated on her at 9pm on a Friday night to repair the internal bleeding caused by the botched spay procedure.

Not true with the wonderful ladies here! They were so patient and so gentle with her and cleaned her up so nicely. They took about five years off her appearance with their skill sets. We've trusted Scott and his team at the Crate Escape for many years. Our 2 pugs are getting long…read morein the tooth (yes, pun intended) at 10 and 12 years respectively. They can be fussy and need attention and they always seem to get that extra care when we are out of town. Sometimes for a long weekend and sometimes for a long (10 day) vacation. We provide directions for their diet and when they need downtime (because sometimes it's simply puppy overload for them and they need quiet) and the staff caters to their needs. They get to socialize with other dogs big and small and are so well acclimated there that they are not afraid, not traumatized and happy to go (evidenced by pulling on their leashes to go in when entering the building). Because this is a business and dogs do have accidents, it goes with the territory there and the mess gets cleaned up. Unlike leaving our dogs with family/friends where if they mess (let's say on a carpet or floor, we feel bad). This past stay, our senior pug got sick and Scott (with our permission) took him to the vet (connected with the facility). We felt the fee was fair and similar to our own vet as we would have done the same. The point is, that with constant communication, Scott acted as our proxy and returned our boy back to us in a state of recovery not decline. After 2 days back home with us (continuing meds) he's back to his old self.

It was definitely a little nerve wracking to trust our pets and place to someone we just found on the internet, but it went really well. They offered to do other things to help out during visits to the home, like retrieve our mail and making our place looked lived in. The woman taking care of our cats left notes about how the cats were doing, how they were eating, which we really appreciated. The furballs were in good shape when we got home, the litter boxes were clean, etc. If we were still living in their area of service, we definitely would consider using them again if we needed pet care.
