Two Boots Pizza is so nostalgic for me because I loved visiting the Two Boots in Tivoli, NY, near where I went to college. So happy that we have Two Boots in NYC as well! The pizza is incredible! I love the West Village location. It's so colorful and has such classic hipster vibes. There's plenty of seating, and the staff is really nice, even during the late night rush.
Large slice, nice price, plenty of vegan and non vegan options! Service was fast and the staff was friendly. It was decorated cRute!!!!! I rushed in for a slice and it hit the spot.
This is pretty solid pizza. Nothing crazy special, but it's a good NY slice and preferable to some other spots in the area imo
Amazing pizza, fun vibes, good service! I tried the pepperoni square and a slice of the Duchess and wowww both were good! The pepperoni crust was crispy and flavorful. Loved all the flavors and colors on the duchess. Service was nice and fast and the atmosphere was very fun and quirky.
Stopped in quickly for a slice. Got the pepperoni square. It was delicious. Crispy crust and the perfect amount of cheese and pepperoni. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of seating inside too!
Nothing crazy. Kind of like Domino's crust with all the flakes on the bottom. Wait took a long time. They forgot about my order. Cheese slice was good but not insane.
Had myself a duchess, this location's signature slice. I don't think other locations could beat this. Not sure if the undercooked garlic was intended of not but it added a nice kick to it. Garlic knot and cajun ranch great additions. Cashier was very helpful. My only complaints are that the look of the place is an unsavory 2000's quizno's-esque global village house aesthetic and it was a tad hot in the building. Will be visiting the other locations!
We went last night (Saturday) and the city was so crazy busy all over. The whole area was buzzing. Having said that, we popped in because we just really wanted some pizza and the other place we wanted to go to had a line around the block. So, we ordered three slices to share. (pepperoni, tricolored slice, and a margarita type of slice.) I'm not sure what really happened because the pepperoni slice came out first and then we had to wait for the two other slices. We waited for awhile & never got them because I think somebody else took them. So when we asked about them, the guy in the front had a nasty tone. I get it-it's busy, but you have to have a better system. Maybe have more help? I'm not sure what the answer is, but it wasn't a good vibe. And the pizza was solid, but not good enough for me to tolerate a nasty vibe.
Stopped by for a quick bite. Service was good, food was delicious, interior was fun. Great spot overall for a casual stop in the area.

Great little pizza place on the west village. We came in for a slice and it was warmed up to crispy perfection. Would have been 5 stars but the employee honestly seemed bothered to have to serve us, who know maybe it's a New York thing

Vegan pizza slices were just okay. There was nothing memorable and they use supermarket grade plant based cheese. Custom service was fine but not noteworthy. The ambiance was vibrant and colorful. read more

Wow. Crispy crust with a touch of cornmeal. The sausage tasted to good, I can never do totinos again. We had the duchess , I can't say which sauce was the best. Garlic rolls looked delicious ! read more

Bangin pizza. Nice and quick. The dudes working there were cool. I got a depraved (why is it named that?) and old bess. The depraved was super salty and very good, great comfort food. The old bess was nice and tomato heavy. Both awesome. Inside is kinda cramped I wouldn't bother trying to eat in there if I don't have to. read more
Loved this pizza on my walking food tour! This pizza is especially perfect for anyone who's indecisive - the stripes are all different flavors (marinara, pesto, jalepeno, etc) so you get a little bit of everything - oh and expect a lot of garlic (a love language for many). Their shop is super cute and they have a great variety of pizzas - even seasonal flavors to keep it even more interesting. The service was fast! read more
Classic NY pizza! This pizza was delicious. There was such a great variety of unique pizzas and there was even a vegan pizza. The crust was chewy and perfectly cooked. I only wish there was room to try more but I got too full! The staff were very friendly and made great recommendations. The pizza was ready very fast and was so hot and fresh! My husband stopped by Two Boots while I was waiting in line for another pizza store nearby. We got the bayou beast slice with shrimp, crawfish and andouille on it. We both like it and would love to return to try other flavors. read more

Service was quick so great place for quick pizza lunch and appreciated the vegan options. Can do by the slice of whole pizza. Seating is geared toward parties of 4 or less so large families would need to split up. read more

A slice like no other slice, because it is vegan. They have several vegan pizza options and they were all fantastic. We tried a slice of the three they had available, plus the house salad is a good size, with fresh veggies and dressing. The service is quick with no frills. The restaurant is on the former sight of a lesbian bar called The Duchess, which they honor in a pizza. A fun atmosphere. read more

Just when you think you know who has the best pizza in NYC. A new stop surprises you. This was a stop on a food tour. It ended up being one of my favorite stops. We tried the Duchess. It was equally beautiful and delicious. I'm still trying to guess what DLL the rings of flavor were!! I promise stop here , get a slice or a whole pizza- and sit outside and people watch! Primarily pizza by the slice with some cool twists on classics. We got the duchess, pepperoni, and the newman. Duchess sounded fantastic as it's their house pizza, comes with multiple pestos, italian sausage - super colorful and a good flavor but quite garlicky for me. The pepperoni was great, classic done well. Lots of little pepperoni slices and not greasy either. The Newman was my favorite despite being a white pizza. The cheese here was amazing and really made up for the lack of any tomato sauce given how flavorful it was and the soppresotta was great too. Would be happy to get it again, service was quick, prices good, pizzas delicious. read more

This is an old family fave for decades since it was at the old location. The pizza has a unique flavor and a hit of spice. My favorites are their normal cheese and cleopatra jones. Service is always pleasant (order at the counter). Not too many places to sit but we always manage to get a table. Ambiance is colorful and fun. read more

I'm sure TB is acceptable during the day. Being a NYC pizza pioneer back in 1987, which they ceaselessly promote, is so irrelevant now with all the artisan neighborhood competition. TGTG patrons are treated as third class citizens, especially considering all they must dump. Worker was just cruel. Only two slices and two garlic knots in my box. Prior review was possibly TGTG. Same slices, Duchess and Meg. I hated Duchess, named after a famous lesbian bar once on the site. I hate jalapeños and red peppers, so an utter nightmare. Crumbled sausage and garlic were good. The Meg is good. Love the four cheeses. They don't give marinara sauce with knots because that's an expense. I hate garlic knots in general, so that was a miss. Plus they were hot knots, doused in jalapeño pesto. Missed the sauce, which would have at least made them edible. Really a very disappointing, lackluster mystery box. read more

I did a little self-guided pizza tour of the West Village on a Friday in February when it was 51° and Two Boots Pizza was my fourth stop. I ordered The Duchess Slice (sweet Italian sausage, roasted garlic, oregano plus a rainbow of jalapeno, basil & sweet red pepper pestos on a white pie) because obviously I was in the West Village. This place has about 12 tables and is decorated in fun colors. I thought this was a great slice. I'm usually not a sausage person but I thought the crumbly sausage had a nice flavor. I loved the jalapeno and sweet red pepper pestos. I thought the section with the basil pesto was too oily. The crust was perfect and held up to all the toppings. This was a different and enjoyable slice. I'm in! read more
